Michael McGlone and Ed O'Neill are the detectives, Queen Latifah is the nurse, and Denzel Washington is the patient in a scene from The Bone Collector (1999). Ed was born in Youngstown Ohio and has 70 acting credits from Cruising (1980, with Al Pacino) to an episode of a 2022 mini-series.

His other notable credits include The Dogs of War, an episode of Miami Vice, Waynes World, Waynes World 2, 259 episodes of Married,,,with Children, 22 episodes of Dragnet (as Kt Joe Friday), 4 episodes of The West Wing, a voice in Finding Dory, and 250 episodes of Modern Family.

🏴‍☠️ I finally finished this drawing for the DTIYS hosted by @ Shelbs_art_06 ( on instagram ) who chose a beautiful prompt for this event.

This is my first time participating in a DTIYS and also my first time drawing Ed / Blackbeard! I have been in the ofmd fandom for a very few weeks and haven't had a chance (time enough) to draw everyone. Time permitting l'd like to draw two comics l've had in mind for a while these days...

Now don’t get me wrong, if they had told me back in season 1 that Izzy was going to die I would have bought tickets to dance on his grave.

But offing him like that after his amazing personal growth that is more complex and wholesome than any other character’s redemption arc I’ve ever seen is just bad writing. I don’t want to hear any of that “he wanted to die” crap, that’s only one more reason he shouldn’t have died, if anything.

I don’t care if you like this Obi-Wan “mentor’s death” shit, Dave, it wasn’t necessary and it wasn’t fitting, especially after this speedrun of a season that gave me fucking whiplash.

(With that said, congratulations on your new Inn Stede and Ed, well done, love you babes xx)
