I started watching Achievement Hunter in 2013. They helped me learn english (hearing six people talk at once was a challenge) . I've loved being In this community. They've been a constant in my life for the past decade. And now they are ending.
And it wasn't unexpected. AH hasn't felt right for some time and I don't think keeping it alive would've brought it back. And it's good that they are able to leave it and go do something they seem passionate about. I hope dogbark is fun.
So I guess what I want to say is: thank you for being a part of my life for so long, and I'm trying to be hopeful for what comes next.
But god I'm gonna miss it

it's actually so important to me that in the memory loss extras xie lian finds out he doesn't have spiritual power anymore (because he's been having sex). it means
he feels comfortable relying on hua cheng
he's able to be 'selfish', and choose what he wants rather than what other people think is correct
he's free from the responsibility of being the most powerful martial god in heaven
he's getting thoroughly dicked down

It's a very small thing, but I think it's very cute how Sonic Adventure's achievements describe unlocking character's stories as becoming friends with them

fright night 2011 remake 🤝 heathers musical adaptation
changing the characterization of the protagonist to recently have fallen in with the mean “popular” crowd at school abandoning their “uncool” childhood best friend for social clout only to realize that they were wrong after their friend almost dies, presumably to make the protagonist more relatable/likable because they are the audience-insert character while still aligning them with a group of characters that the audience is supposed to hate for plot reasons
