idk man i just think it’s cool that ian and mickey are going to experience so many firsts in their first year of marriage. they get casual touches. casual i love you’s. fights that don’t end in the world coming crashing down around them because they’re married and it won’t have to end in walking away. they get to watch movies on the couch then go upstairs and go to bed. they get to make out and not have it lead to sex, even though it usually does because they’re them but they have time now. cooking dinner and learning what they like to cool together. they have so much time now that they didn’t before so they get to experience so many firsts in their first year of marriage. i think it’s pretty cool.

sunshine always reminds them of the summers when they were younger. they're obviously happy that they're out and free, that they married in front of everyone and they're stable as ever. but there is still a little bit of nostalgia for the days of just being hidden away together. minus all the reasons they had to do that in the first place, obviously.

sometimes when the sun is shining brighter than usual they'll decide to go to a different town and just Be for a few hours. they'll get lunch and soak in the sun. go shopping and look at shit they can't afford. them just being able to be together without everything else. the past not being in every corner because there, they're just two guys. no one knows who they are, they're just two regular guys in love.
