Was so relieved it happened and I never have to go back. Next stop venator bow and then we grind whisperer

Btw, she's my favourite boss from Desert Treasure 2! And DT2 as a whole is SO DAMN GOOD, it is my new favourite quest in the game :>

In case you're wondering what happened to my runescape posting I've written like 227k words in the last 8 months and that's basically been all the time I'd be playing. We have still been poking at bosses and slayer on Aliceomalice as a break from writing but we've been avoiding committing to any serious grinds until we're done with Dog of War, lest we get sucked in and the fic die.
Once it is finished, we fully plan on committing to a Bowfa grind, the DT2 bosses, and we still have a number of other things like venator bow and raids in the works.

slightly late 1900 total progress post for my iron...!
so some of this is same since i did my first progress post for 1800 total on the iron... random thoughts/clarifications on why i threw some items in here... plus my 2023 "year in osrs" but i'll put this below a cut so it isn't too long
dragon cup because i set a goal for leagues iv and achieved it!! i mean it's about fun more than goals but i was glad i got that one instead of giving up
many rings have been achieved. dks rings are self explanatory, recent long-overdue upgrades. the explorer's ring is there because i finally whacked out the skill reqs for lumby elite which sucked but was SOOO WORTH IT... fairy rings without staff... i love it. the ring of shadows is there to honor the pain i went through planking repeatedly at dt2 (while going back to look for my 1800 post I had to scroll by all my unhinged tilted posts while struggling with whisperer)
warped sceptre isn't a huge item but i mean it's convenient ... was i a little salty this came out right after dt2 when it would've helped me a lot with whisperer? only a little.
farming cape - first 99 on the account bc i was getting close and just wanted to get it for the tele & to stop having to farm anything other than herbs. worth it.
fish barrel just bc i finally got it and i love it
ditto for compost bucket
imcando hammer is useful in so few places but it took me a while to get and idk why it's weirdly satisfying to have!!!
the fury is technically not a big update stat wise but i love it it's so much more stylish than a glory and also i DREADDDD getting zenytes so i will probably rock it for a while
the dwh was mega spooned (~750 kc) and feels like a big flex
gilded sq i never really wear but felt good to flex here
and now #MyYearInOSRS lmao this was a silly but cool idea by the team
tbh surprised it's only 1182 hours bc i feel like i really nolifed this year i mean i guess that's a lot but feels less when a lot of other people are posting 2k+ lol
farming most trained unsurprising.... it shall never be my most trained again! i just wanted to knock it out and minimize future chores (i know a lot of herb runs still in the future)
can see how antisocial i am on this game with only 930 chat messages
kinda surprised by the 599 boss kills idk what i was even grinding? it's probably mostly barrows...? plus kc for a bunch of easy combat tasks and oh i guess I totaled a couple hundred on DKs...
yep here you can see farming was the most obviously when going for 99 (from 60, I guess, that's neat to know) with herblore close behind bc they were partly related (and also was another skill i wanted to get the big reqs out of the way - which i do have, now, with the ability to boost for supercombats, so no more need to rush herb xp... feels weird lol)
2024 will probably be the year of focusing slayer... and going for diary cape reqs
kinda sad i didn't get the year end summary on my main since i started flipping bc the GE stats would be fun but useless on the iron lol
the quests/diary tasks/coll log slots are nice to see, made a lot of overall progress on the account this year :) it's not pointless if i have fun right? :)

I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY!!! Out of all the dt2 bosses, this was the one I was willing to grind for the pet. I'm so happy I just need to get axe and vestige from vardorvis now.

Whisp completed 438kc! Will come back for pet but it's onto leviathan and vardorvis for soulreaper axe. Need to grind out 1 more ingot before I can make the bellator ring. Really glad I got the 2 rings I wanted not too far off drop rates. Also used 4 orbs to do the awakened whisperer fight. It was really fun!

3/4 on soulreaper axe and wasn't expecting to get another ultor vestige. This has got to be the most spooned i've ever been in the game ngl.

2/4 awakened bosses done. Took 10 orbs this time.
Kept making stupid mistakes for the first couple kills then hit a wall for the 25% hp threshold. Once I got the 4 tic acid walk down we smashed it!
The plan now is to kill leviathan till axe piece, kill awakened version then same for vardorvis.

Some of my OSRS achievements!
Magus vestige! I almost screamed when I got it, it was so spooned! I'll def keep grinding Duke Succ til I get the Eye, but I've also been dipping my toes in grinding other DT2 bosses (except Vardovis. Vardo gives me anxiety)
My 600 col log was fang from duo ToA, my very own first purple there! I was so happy, I almost lost all hope at seeing anything at that raid - here's my col log page for reference :v
Finally finished my long-term goal - full Mahogany Homes log AND maxxed POH with the spirit tree! I really like Hosidius Blueprint theme, definitely was worth it grinding for it for like 100 hours :v
My stats and my pets so far! I dunno what stat to grind for next ngl >< I'm open for suggestions :v
