some headcanons:
HD likes nature, and is concerned with human imagination, philosophy... or at least mind games. He is a joker and a prankster, enjoys watching humans and tricking a few of them. associated with rest in terms of the night but like, a deep, deeeeep sleep, and also chaos, as he has been known to guide a weary traveller to a safer place as they travel but equally another weary traveller to walk in circles for days for Reasons only he knows
XD enjoys technology and science, and is concerned with human innovation and evolution (what use is thought when you can have ACTION)? His personality is more intense, always up for fun, but his will is like iron, once he makes up his mind good luck opposing him (poor guy in the pic is about to find out...) He is associated with energy and vibrance, vitality and life (the daytime). Known to help a traveller on a quest by dropping weaponry and armor; has turned many innocent people into unsuspecting heroes of their own story by influencing events, causing them to champion their own salvation (freeing their villages from like marauding mobs)
