DMK Receives Major Donations from Future Gaming, Mega Infra, and India Cements in 2021 Poll Year
In a significant revelation, the Election Commission’s latest data highlights the hefty contributions received by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) through poll bonds during the years leading up to 2023. The ruling party in Tamil Nadu disclosed substantial donations amounting to a staggering Rs 656.5 crore from April 19, 2019, to November 14, 2023.
During the 2019–2020 period, coinciding with the general elections, the DMK amassed contributions totaling Rs 45.50 crore, despite being out of power in the state.
