Has Mirri Maz Duur's prophecy been fulfilled?
Daenerys believe she's barren because of Mirri Maz Duur's prophecy: “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves” and “Only death can pay for life.”
1. “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east”
- This is one of book-readers theory that this line from Mirri's prophecy refer to Quentyn Martell son of Prince Doran Martell. Quentyn who left Dorne to Meereen to marry Dany in ADWD but ended up dying trying to steal one of her dragons. The Martell sigil is a sun so if we considered him as the sun Mirri was taking about rising (or growing up) in the west (Dorne) and setting (dying) in the east (Meereen)
- But since Quentyn is not related to the show’s events the line can refre to another character, Theon Greyjoy. We see Theon leaving Dragonstone to go save Yara who he thinks is with his uncel in the Iron Islands so as soon as he finds out that Euron was headed to Esos he will go after him for Yara. So rising could mean growing up since he was rised in the West, or rising up from being weak by standing up to Harrag. If Theon dies (set) trying to save Yara, he rised in the West and set in the East.
- It could also refers to the Long Night ending and the dawn of summer.
2. “When the seas go dry”
- The seas here refer to the Dothraki Sea becasue of what Dany noticed in the final chapter of ADWD about that place “The grass was paler than she remembered, a wan and sickly green on the verge of going yellow. After that would come brown. The grass was dying.”
- Dry here could also mean rivers and lakes freezing since the Night King army is marching south, winter is here for Westeros.
3. “When mountains blow in the wind like leaves”
The wall could be the mountains in this line and the Night King just destroyed the nearly 8,000 years old structure which blow in the wind like leaves.
4- “Only death can pay for life.”
We know ever since Dany sacrificed her unborn child to save Khal Drogo’s life she has been unable to bear children. But i guess she already paid the price with Viserion’s death.
So does that mean Jon just successfully impregnated Dany and they will have a babie next seaon??

So Ras/someone strikes the Gong of shattering and it sends out a shockwave, while lighting up

So Lloyd has a vision like the one from the magazine, only this time there is a giant wolf mask (which is gorgeous by the way) rising out of the ground behind him

looks like some mixture between rock and those blue blades, hanging on the wolf-clan‘s suits for the shoulder armor
if i saw that coming towards me, i would just let him come to me. very badass
Overall a very interesting trailer, definitely more focused on the new villains, but that is great. And I don‘t know if it‘s just me, but the background of that last scene looks like either cloud kingdom, or the structure in the background of the Egalt set

I just read the new ninjago magazine and there are quite a few interesting revelations there.
The comic is focused around Lloyd, Sora and Arin going to the land pf the three mountains, so Sora can test out her new mech, which means that the overall plot of the comic is probably non Canon, as we saw her build the mechs in the animated shorts. The first interesting things is, that Sora uses her powers to actively change the shape of her mech‘s arms, which we did see her do in the first short, where she uses it to drain Lobbo of the energy of the strange device he had there.
What is interesting is that, while the second form is just a recolored version of the arm of the wolf mech, that released in the set with the kai mech this year, the first arm-variant includes a new piece, that we have so far to my knowledge only seen in the leaked picture for Kai‘s ninja climber mech releasing in march.
I really hope that means, she uses this ability later on in the show, changing her mech to suit the situation.
The second and probably much more plot relevant detail happens on one page and is sadly not explained much more.
In the context of the page, Lloyd had just fallen asleep, while Sora and Arin were training and now has a weird dream, where he is standing in some sort of dark plane, with red fog on the horizon and a „blood-red moon“, probably the blood moon from Ras‘s dojo. He also hears three “dong“s, which might be the gong of shattering, which Ras is using in some way. The meaning of this dream/vision is sadly not elaborated on in the rest of the magazine, so we will probably have to wait until the release of season 2 to learn more, but it is pretty cool to have some foreshadowing here.
On an unrelated note, Arin training how to fly with Riyu is just the cutest.

i‘m not sure, if it‘s just the lighting, but it looks like in the first picture, taken from the new clip where Ras and Jordana find the dojo, the gong of shattering is missing, alongside the large ring around it.
the front page of the Garmadon comic also picture that gong behind him, however there its chain is hanging in the mouth of the wolf‘s head, like it does in the set, whereas in the series it hangs in a small room behind it. This kay be just a case of the set and comic being designed before the actual series, or it might be more significant than that. In the shot from the first trailer,
we see Cinder carrying the mallet of shattering (identified by its hilt) towards Ras and Jordana, who already have the gong set up. My guess is, that the gong is going to be originally in Ninjago, brought there maybe by some offshoot of the original wolf-clan from the Wyldness, which is where it will appear in the Garmadon comic. At the beginning of season 2 Ras and Jordana will then have access to the dojo, which might amplify the Gong‘s power somehow, but lack the actual Gong and Mallet. maybe these are guarded somewhere, possibly by egalt, but over the course of the first few episodes they collect them, with Cinder‘s first big appearance being him retrieving the mallet. With that they could then use the gong properly and become stronger than before

The new pictures of the shadow dojo might actually give us a hint at the story
The dojo‘s upper floor has two murals or something similar on the walls, that seem to show us a bit of Ras‘ plan or past
the top one shows us a strange figure, judging from the silhouette of the hair maybe Cinder, standing on some sort of hill, while holding up a red, jagged sword, that looks a lot like the new sword piece introduced in this new set wave and is actually held by cinder in the foreground. Behind the sword is a red circle, likely the blood moon, and below the figure are three shape, that might be wolf warrior masks.
Judging from the fact, that the villains seem to have that sword in the sets already, my guess is that the mural depicts either the past, or that the sword is somehow linked to the blood moon and they need it to access the moon‘s power. In that case the mural is more of a depiction of their plan or the future.
the second mural has what looks like the gong of shattering at the top sending shockwaves, likely a powerup, downwards, where a wolf-like figure seems to get stronger, as they are surrounded by an aura of energy or fire.
this might be how Ras powers up his army with the gong.
one last thing is, that the wolf character in the second image does not look like the wolf warriors in the sets, without the shoulder armor and with a different headshape, despite still looking like a wolf. So it could be, that these two murals depict an ancient figure, who might be the original founder of the wolf-clan and maybe even Ras‘ master, who used a sword to harness the power of the blood moon and the gong of shattering to make themself stronger. This would mean, that the person in the first picture is also them, not Cinder. Since their head looks different to the wolf masks, my guess is that this is an actual wolf, likely from the realm of Chima, who used the blood moon, that does exist in the world of Chima, to strengthen themself, without the madness the usually comes from that moon.
