What's your thoughts on Tien's relationship with Chiaotzu? Are they just friends? Does Tien see him as a baby brother or a child? Why is he carrying him around during half of DBZ?

My favorite fan descriptions I've seen of chiaotzu with regards to his relationship with ten are "little buddy" and ten's "special needs lil bro".

Also for context I still haven't seen DBZ yet (I'm like 85% through OG DB). I think it's really cute when he carries him around though.

My interpretation of their dynamic is that it's closest to an older brother & younger brother relationship, but also similar to a parent/guardian and child, but also close friends, & a bond that's not necessarily able to be put into words (not in a typical way anyway).
