Yakko The Third: "Hello, Inspector Scratchy! Never thought you'd find us here at Fort Knox so fast. What's your secret?"
Inspector Scratchensniff: "I bought Ralph new running shoes"
Four thieves have just pulled of a major bank heist, and two inspectors have pulled off said thieves' disguise.
Anyone's who's seen the last ballpoint pen sketch post I did will recognize this scene.
I had already drawn quite a few characters from Animaniacs cosplaying as various characters from Lupin the Third.
Buster Bunny as Goemon, Dot as Fujiko, Wakko as Jigen, and of course Yakko as the notorious wolf thief!
But I hadn't drawn Zenigata yet, and I was really torn on who it could be. Scratchensniff has the smarts, strictness, and determination while Ralph has the stamina, willpower, and of course speed.
So I figured in this scenario, why not both?. Make em' a team!
It had been a while since Id done any serious inking with my art pens. I didn't plan on using a lot of colored pencils for this one, but one of the sets of markers I used, despite being labeled as alcohol based, behaved like water-based ones. They were streaky and bled into some of the finer line work I did.
The only other slight issue I have with this was that the scanner I used to upload this flattened out some of the colors and diluted some of the contrast. Even with some post edits to this, it's not perfect to how it actually looked.
Oh well, I still love it!

Last night I dreamed the Warners got adopted by Dr. Scratchensniff and then he got married and had a kid with his new wife and the Warners got jealous because they thought Scratchy loved his “real” kid more than them, but at the same time they still loved the baby and considered them just as much their sibling as each other.

I love moments like these 🥺💖
Scratchansniff is like a parental figure to them, and the Warners are still just kids. Having someone like a parent who looks out for them and who cares is what they need, especially being locked away for so long.
Makes me wonder if Yakko feels like he can relax a bit more with the fact that he doesn't really have to be the one to take the lead all the time (until he does because those are his sibs and he's used to it by now to which Scratchansniff might point out and Yakko's like "haha... whaaat? Did y'all hear something...")

Character Bio: Luis Guttierrez
Age: 32
Race: Hispanic/American
Friends/Allies: Ralph T. Guard, Dr. Otto Von Scratchansniff and Helen Nerz
Enemies: Thaddeus Plotz, Buddy Warner and Nils Niedhart.
Likes: Directing movies, cooking meals, Gardening, Exercise and the Warners.
Dislikes: Like Dot, Luis hate it if someone calls him Louis. Traffic, Spiders, Exercise and animatronics.
Luis Gutierrez is one of the new movie director at the Warners Bros studio.
He is also the Yakko, Wakko and Dot’s legal guardian or “Daddo” as Wakko says. Luis meets the Warners after saving Dot who was almost hit by a car.
They ended up becoming a dysfunctional but loving family.
Luis is a kind and caring man but has a short temper when someone says or does something personal that offends him or his kids. He has various hobbies and often hangout with Ralph, Otto scratchensniff and Helen Nerz (Hello Nurse)
Relationships-
Yakko Warner: Yakko glad to have Luis as a parent but gets jealous when Wakko and Dot ask for his help instead him. Yakko doesn’t always listen to Luis cause he feels he knows better since he was on his own for a long time. Little does he know Luis has great respect for Yakko.
Wakko Warner: Wakko was surprised how much he has in common with adult.
Both love food,(Wakko is greater.) Both like to build models or fix things. Wakko was excited when Luis let him work on his car. It went great.... Until the engine blew 2 blocks down the street. But the two laugh about it.
Dot Warner: Ever since he saved her, Luis and Dot have a very close Father-Daughter relationship. Ranging from protective dad mode, to tea parties and etc. he has nicknames for her: Princess, Honey, flowerpot and Cutester (Cute-Stir) Her secret weapon to get what she wants: Her “pretty please face.”
He tries to fight it but can’t.
After learning of the Warners sad past. Luis tries to make sure they’re happy as they can be. Even stand up for them when others talk them down.

"Ballpoint Pen Sketches on Feb 16
Here's a sketch I've been working on and off on for the past couple of days. It's one I'm definitely planning on redrawing into a full color piece in the near future.
The Warners and friends have just pulled off a bank heist, and two inspectors have just pulled off their disguise.
Since I had already drawn Yakko as the notorious thief Lupin, I knew I had to draw his adversary Zenigata/Pops.
I couldn't figure out who to pick in this scenario, Dr. Scratchensniff has his strict nature and determination, but Ralph the Guard has the willpower and stamina for the chase.
So I thought, why not make em a pair?
