3. How did your oc discover themself? Did something cause them to question, or did they always know?
obligatory post context: viridi is one of the main characters of my on-hiatus YA transgender evil-faerie high fantasy. he is sixteen and mentally ill and a terrible little liar and he has a pet bird that he loves very much. in modern labels he is... nebulously gay and agender. none gender left liking men. he/him but NOT in a man way. + they/them pronouns also chill
he absolutely didn't always know this; he grew up... shall we say... in a highly gendered society in a, coughs, highly gendered role. which he also hated. and i think for a very long time his assumption was just "well, of course being a man sucks; all of this sucks; of course i don't want to grow up to look or act or sound like my dad, because he sucks too." liking boys he knew about early on, but genderfuckery he didn't consider as an option/possibility until Whatever Happened To Him In The Woods.
luckily, the only good thing about the fae is that they don't give a fuck about gender, and now that he's stumbled into life as a faetouched amnesiac (<- X to doubt), he feels much freer to do whatever the fuck he wants, including declaring himself Definitively Not A Boy. this is somewhat complicated by the fact that viridi is also insane and autistic, and he doesn't particularly consider himself a person, either, never mind a man or woman. he's not a guy as in not a man, but also not a guy as in... not even a guy. he's a nothing. he is, if anything, a bird. none gender left bird. where's the quote from the draft
“You remember,” he said, “when Patch was talking about--about Dahlia’s a woman, Rowan’s a man, they’re the jester.”
“And you’re just Viridi,” Winter finished. It was on the list of questions she had about Viridi, but considering the rest, she’d shelved this particular question relatively low.
“Yes.”
“So who’s that?”
“Nothing much,” Viridi said into her shoulder, letting out a shaky breath. “Nothing much. What I’m saying is--I think I understand.”

When drawing it I ended up making a small silly au along with it. From what I recall, Arthur witness the love his life, Violet passes away before him (unsure which way) so Arthur goes into the spirit world trying to find Violet's soul and bring her back to life.
I dont know. Im please how Violet turn out (first time drawing her)
