i've been zeroing in on my ideal scrivener draft labelling system and i have to say i really like this iteration...love the feeling of re-labelling a tricky scene when i finally have a better handle on it, there's nothing more satisfying tbh.
shoutout to @bettsfic and her wonderful lowkey writing-related newsletter for helping me figure out what works best for me! highly recommend subscribing to beth's substack.

Number of fics completed this year: 13! One more than my new years resolution. (tho that is counting the second chapter of a fic)
Total Word Count: 7736 (i did not realize this was also the most words I’d written)
Fandoms Written in: The Bright sessions, Witcher, Detroit Become Human, MCU, Just Roll With it, MacGyver, The Mechanisms and Eos 10
Did you write more, less, or about what you expected this year?: So my goal was 12 fics, one each month originally. Once we went into lock down I really lost motivation for three months, so I really didn’t think I would make it. All in all, this year was way more writing than ever, though I’m only going into my fourth year.
What's your favorite story of the year, personally?: Theres a three way tie between For fucks sake Connor (bc I had been wanting to write that for a year) The five plus one (bc I have fond memories working on it) and The Cake Catastrophe (bc I think that one turned out well.) Honestly I’m proud of most of the fics I posted this year XD
Did you take any writing risks this year?: This year was a lot of writing for new fandoms. Specifically, I mean my first jrwi fic was the first time I’d really written a fic before finishing a series.
Do you have any fanfic goals for the new year?: I’m very tempted to say more than last year, but I think 12 is a good goal to keep it from feeling less like a hobby. This year I am hoping to be more consistant, actually doing at least a fic a month. I don’t know why but I really want to have a more consistant writing arrangement/posting time…
Most popular story of the year?: For Fucks Sake Connor wins across the board, unsurprisingly (somehow)
Most Fun story to write?: I don’t think I’ve had so much fun and laughed so much at a fic than the like, fifteen mins I wrote and posted Spiders. I just genuinely thought the idea was hilarious (came from a random word generator online) Most of the writing I do for OCs is more comedic these days and so it has more than sort of feel to me. Also I will say I *really* enjoyed the comments people left on that XD
Biggest Disappointment?: Ignoring some of the fics I posted and look back on knowing they feel meh to me, I would say just some of the reception to the 5+1.
Biggest Surprise: I can’t really think of anything specific, though as a little thing, the realization that I had reached two pages worth of fic on my account was crazy XD I looked at it the other day and I just went damn.
