How does Zofeia feel about hope? Does she help her escape or prioritise her own survival?

i think definitively saying how zofeia feels about hope is kind of difficult. there's a touch of pity, a heavy serving of scorn, a dose of irritation and just a whisper of fear; hope defied raphael, and this is what became of her. zofeia, too, has been defying raphael for nearly a century. should he ever tire of their cat-and-mouse, is this the fate that awaits her?

initially, her promise to help hope was a lie to get the help she needed. zofeia isn't usually one to go back on her word, but she didn't see any benefit to helping hope after she had what she needed. but then she took the hammer & found herself cornered in a burning house full of hostile debtors and infernal creatures, and suddenly rescuing hope seemed like a good idea, if only for the extra number on her side.

hope, lucky thing, remains none the wiser that zofeia had intended to leave her there.

i'm gonna be honest I don't really understand or know a lot about tarot stuff (outside of the Persona games ghjfbfgk) but this was cool! I also really like how vivid and powerful the results were. I think malzel's relationship is lacking the generosity and the naivete (They're bad people i'm sorry uquiz....) that card pairing describes but the rest is super accurate. And the Eablach one is just perfect i'm ngl. and it's all under the cut baby.....
