Day 27: New Technique It isn't that new but it it has changed the way I use zippers. If you didn't know (which I didn't) when you sew a zipper generally you are supposed to baste the seam closed then baste the zipper in place, sew the zipper on then swam rip the original seam open and it should be straight and wonderful. It saves me so much time and looks so much cleaner.
