And I felt immediately repulsed by all of it—by men, by aging, by humanity, by my disgusting needs.

Something I kind of like in the Inside Out two trailer is that Anxiety ISN'T just fear but with a different color.
Because yeah. Anxiety and fear, while related, aren't NECESSARILY the same thing. Anxiety is more related to be nervous or unsure but not actually afraid of something. Fear is more a loud "NO! NO! NO!" Kind of way of thinking, whereas being anxious is more about a slight low buzz of nervousness.
And that relates to another point that I think is interesting: Anxiety isn't presented negatively. They're presented as a surprise and not something the other emotions are expecting, but not bad. And that's good to me, because it shows the movie is still going to stick to the big theme of Inside Out: There are no such thing as BAD emotions.
There are times where feeling Anxious isn't bad. Like, you can be anxious because your worried about something but you can also be anxious in a good way. You can be excited, practically buzzing in your seat for something you know is coming. Or nervous in a fun way because your about to try something new. It's not bad to be anxious. It's just bad when your anxiety takes over and prevents you from doing anything. And I'm hoping the movie does address that.
