imagine being director Northmoor of the FBC and one day you revel so much in your power that you literally explode. and instead of doing anything else about it, the FBC goes “when life gives a secret paranatural government agency lemons…” and throws your possibly-alive, moving corpse in a power plant so they don’t have to worry about their power bill. then going onwards, people only refer back to you using ominous light-based puns

Can I just appreciate the fact that while Mike Flanagan has the actors he loves working with and frequently appear in his shows/films he always adds new actors to his cast with each show?
Bonus because none of the actors in his cast are like mega-famous (i mean Julia Roberts or RDJ level) although they're super talented! I think more directors need to follow this example and work with new, talented actors rather than exhausting the entire budget just to hire an A-lister and then doom the rest of the production. I know that certain filmmakers think that hiring someone who is already very famous will bring in more of an audience but there are so many talented and wonderful actors around who are literally just waiting for their breakthrough in the industry and it's such a waste that some filmmakers decide to give even more spotlight and money to actors who are already millionaires and have absolutely no issue booking jobs.
Btw I'm not saying hire lesser known actors out of pity, I'm saying that talent doesnt always mean fame, and there are plenty of talented actors who aren't going to cost the entire budget of a production which means more money to spend on crew, costumes and set design.
I really liked how the One Piece live action did that too, none of the actors were very famous A-listers (correct me if I'm wrong though), and most of them had their first major role in the show. They were all super great and I doubt they will have trouble booking jobs in the future!

I know it's not relevant but I need to know. Is the school mascot at your High School Au a duck? because there's no way Lucifer is the principal and misses the chance to make his high school mascot a duck.
I would love to, but a team announcing that they're "The Pentagram Ducks!!" kinda sounds lame af ngl so I'm making their mascot a swan instead. Close enuff, and the Ugly Duckling reference still gets to be there! I wanted the mascot to either be an angel or devil to make it even more on the nose, but struggled to stick with either one since there's a mixture of canon angels and demons in this AU. If it's a swan tho you can pick and choose to picture either a white swan for an angel or a black swan for something darker. Best of both worlds!
(Lucifer probably did want it to be a duck but he didn't get the final say on it)

I do understand that the Knights are meant to represent cops in Nimona but I feel like within the context of that society there HAD to have been other cops, like lesser beat cops going around. The Knights are celebrities I feel like they can't be going around giving out traffic tickets
