Possibly even more on crack Stardew headcanons and whatnot because yes 👍
First post
Void chickens are burnt
With enough void mayonnaise, you could possibly obtain the goblin Henchman’s loyalty if only that the Witch doesn’t curse you first
All rabbits are honed in the fine art of keychain making. Hence the lucky rabbit feet they give off
We still don’t know where they’re getting the extra feet though…
Junimo have short, soft, fluffy fur 🍏
They’re also squeezable like a stress ball or a balloon filled with slime
Don’t take (much) fall damage or injury from being tossed at stacks of cans 🥫, but that’s very mean so why would you do that-
From what the witch remembers, humans typically hate void chickens because their eggs are gross but aPARENTLY she guessed wrong with the farmer when she cursed their hen house. She wanted them to eat the egg out of curiosity and suffer for a day or two but noooooo they INCUBATED it out of curiosity instead of consuming it ahhhhhhhhhhhh
She guessed right on cursing the slime hutch with black slimes though because we all know naughty children hate coal.
Gil at some point did a joke slime making video using an actual cave slime, and people just thought it was cool effects and CGI stuff. So now he’s a hit with the slime making fantasy types
Marlon also walked in on him giving a slime a glitter bath. Gil also had glitter all over his face from the slime hitting him head on.
Most of the decorations for the festivals are stored in Pierre’s, the Saloon’s, and the Community Center’s attics
Pierre, Caroline, and Abigail are a family with Spirits Eve colored hair and are therefore— Spooky~
Sometimes… when he’s tired of fish but still wants meat… Willy may eat… a bug steak 🥩
No one thought or knew that the farmer was going to ask someone to dance at the Flower Dance, and so they didn’t even think to get them a proper outfit for the occasion
Or no one had a spare outfit that fit the farmer and just didn’t care to get them one at that point
OR the farmer just outright didn’t want to wear the dance outfit because ew
We have no idea why they didn’t dress up for their own wedding though
The large candy canes placed around the town and sold as decorations at the Feast of the Winter Star and the Night Market are indeed edible 👍
I think that was already canon, but Gus why are you putting them in the dirt-
Shane was persuaded into getting Animal Crossing New Horizons. His island is full of chicken villagers plus Punchy.
Went feral and then sad for a hot minute upon learning of Hector’s existence and him not being in New Horizons
Grandpa’s bed, was in fact, a ping pong table 🏓
The farmer passing out at 2:00am at the latest and waking up at 6:00am at the earliest is a weird internal clock thing. Probably developed from working at Joja Co™️ all those years
Mr Qi personally sent that strange figure who sells the farmer a Farm Warp Totem to be there at the Night Market because he knows the farmer is gonna forget to check the time and then pass out on a mad dash back to the farm
Mr Qi also cannot possibly be human. What is he really? An elf? Vampire? Sorcerer? Snake hybrid? 7 Junimos in a trench coat? Just a man who spray paints himself blue for the aesthetic?
If you have ever seen Caroline’s tea cutscene, then you should know that the tea she drinks probably has a non-zero amount of cannabis in it.
Or maybe not… but like… why was there a lil squid person in there? Drinking tea aswell?? And disappeared with a puff of steam/smoke????
Actually- the tea she had was green, very sparkly and ripple-y. I bet Rasmodius had something to do with it. Because you know what happened with Rasmodius’s tree cutscene and uh… *cough* *cough* that other thing about the wizard-
Professor Snail has a snail under his hat named Mikey 🐌 that he picked up from the month he spent trapped in a cave
The kids of pelican town (Jas, Vincent, + Leo maybe) and the ASS trio (Abigail, Sam, Sebastian), are knowledgable of Krobus’s existence at least somewhat. Also Willy and Gunther 👌
Mr Qi eats Junimos🍏 ..sometimes-
Why? Because they’re like apples, he’s a mysterious son of a gun, and because these are crack headcanons that’s why-
Rasmodius is actively trying to get him magically banned from entering the community center and any other place currently occupied by them…
(spoiler?) …including Jojamart™️
Mr Qi’s outfit actually glows in the dark with a buncha tiny lights and glittery bits. Also shiny like a disco ball maybe ✨
Just hit him with a high powered flashlight and he becomes this ✨
Willy has seen the horrors 🐟
The Iridium bar required in the slime hutch, contrary to popular belief, is not just used as an extra brick for fun. Robin’s gotta smelt it down and add a lil bit of its essence to every stone making up the walls and foundation. (Hard work, y’know?). One bar is just enough to bless the hutch and requiring more seemed to be asking for too much.
Haley follow’s the Queen of Sauce’s Stardew equivalent of Instagram
Junimo Kart should not exist
The whole 100 floors down Skull Caverns was a ruse in an attempt to kill you, the farmer, but it failed because you didn’t die on the whole trip down and are also somehow immune to snake milk (venom). Whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger I guess 🤷‍♂️🥛🐍
The farmer is indeed a cryptid. They don’t even breath
Instead of actual armor they instead rely on boots and rings for their protection??? They HAVE a hat, shirt, and pants slot, they CAN wear more armor than just boots if they had any but noooooooo. They like dancing with death so it seems
Actively just challenging Yoba to smite them: Being able to just consume food you really shouldn’t (ex. Void mayonnaise, mushrooms) and do it again once out of the hospital, Just carrying metal tools in thunderstorms, Being able to get hit by the valley’s train and brush it off, Repetitively going into the mines and Skull Caverns despite Harvey’s warnings, Drinking a weird unnatural drink offered by a mysterious stranger twice, also if they get their hands on it, carrying around freaking RADIOACTIVE ore without protection like it’s nothing????
Like I’m still not over the radioactive ore, even if I’ve never encountered it yet-
Also whatever the heck is happening on the Ginger Island dungeon? I’m pretty sure that’s lava everywhere in there??? And you just use your dinky watering can to cross it like no big deal??????
Stardew Valley so just so wild man
At least one person’s gonna be pissed at the farmer if they caught the legendary fish, put them in their fridge, and accidentally made sashimi with them. Maybe Gordy and Tex…
Also proof that the farmer is a cryptid is that they can catch all 5 legendary fish and their relatives without a sweat. Like Willy’s been at this for years. Also where do the relatives come from-
The fact that Pierre hates being given legendary fish is weird to me. I feel like that’s a boasting opportunity to have one in his funky lil shop.
I feel like Willy should also be happier than neutral upon being given the honor of owning one of these legendary fish. Or maybe he’s equally surprised as he is pissed that he wasn’t the one to do it and it cancels out.
Actually- maybe he catch and released? I’m too tired for this man
Gordy in The Fisherman Act ll is a wuss
The Crystalarium just can’t handle the Gay Shard’s power. Haley also can’t handle the Gay Shard apparently.
If you give a Junimo hut a Fairy Stone, are you just giving them the fossil of a long dead relative of theirs? Would that be weird?
If Abigail ate a fairy stone, would she be cursed by the fae for like… eating their crystallized bones
Forget what I said earlier about Emily wielding a parrot perch, she uses the unobtainable Holy Blade now- 🗡✨
If the farmer ever sees the green creature at the pelican town docks, just know that they probably hate you
Your dad probably has a rock collection. Why else is he sending you quality stones

Sweater Weather ch.3
Emerald Isle was covered in moss and rocks where they docked, the rocks and sand giving way to grassy hills and a dense forest of pine trees and shrubs where the side of a large house peeked out from behind them.
Owen took their bags after he had tied off the boat, Kenji leading Ben up some wooden stairs and on a brick path through the trees.
“Wow.” Ben said. “It smells amazing out here.”
“Smells amazing?” Kenji asked, glancing at Ben.
“Well, I…I haven’t been around real pine. It’s either been a candle or something already dying slowly for the sake of a holiday.” Ben said, shrugging at the end.
“Oh…I never thought of it like that…not a lot of traditional pine trees in Cali.” Kenji said. “You probably haven’t even seen snow.”
“No. And the funny thing is, my parents are, well, were, Seattle natives. I’ve lived in Texas and California my whole life. I’ve always wanted to come here. We planned to when my mom got better but…”
Ben’s smile fell and he looked at the trees in pain, closing his eyes for a moment. Kenji looked around to see Owen making his way up the path towards them. He grabbed Ben’s hand and led him along.
“Uh…M-My Dad likes the trees and we even have an orchard in the back. I think we have apples, peaches, almonds and a pomegranate tree in the green house.” Kenji said. “In summer, I bring back so much fruit from here.”
“That actually sounds great.” Ben said with a smile. “Smoothies galore.”
“Mom loves her trees and uses them for teas and jams, so…indulge her for me?” He asked. “She hasn’t really…nailed the flavor…”
Ben chuckled and hugged his arm as Owen got closer.
“Got it, Honey.” Ben said and Kenji nearly tripped.
“On your left, Lovebirds!” Owen called and walked past them with their bags.
“W-What?” Kenji asked once Owen was out of earshot. “Why did you…what was that?”
“A pet name?” Ben asked, raising a brow. “What would you call me?”
“Ben…ny?”
“No. Something else.” Ben said quickly.
“Babe?”
“That’ll do.” He said.
They continued to walk up the path, then stopped, Kenji noticing Ben staring at the house as they came up to it.
It looked like a Californian lake house; wooden with large glass windows and a balcony with a sturdy awning, a fire pit on the second floor awning, wooden steps leading down to another area where there was sand going into the dark blue water, a huge porch and yard and so many trees around it, as if hidden.
“Is that a lighthouse?!” Ben yelled when he looked up the hill.
“Yeah. Just in case.” Kenji said and Ben looked up at the regal looking stone structure.
“C…Can we go up it?”
“Yeah, sure. We can explore tomorrow though. Parents and sister.” He reminded Ben, who nodded, but let his eyes linger on the lighthouse a few seconds longer.
Kenji led Ben to the porch and knocked on the door despite Owen walking in a few seconds earlier.
A short, plump Mexican woman opened the door and cried out excitedly, scooping Kenji into her arms and despite being a full foot shorter than him, lifted him up and spun around.
“Mom!” He squawked and blushed. “Not in front of Ben!”
She dropped Kenji, who staggered before standing straight. He cleared his throat.
“Mom. This is Ben. Ben, this is my mother, Candela Kon.”
“Oh, baby, you can call me Candy!” She said and hugged Ben in her soft warm arms, Ben getting a whiff of cocoa butter and vanilla.
Candy, indeed.
She had the same golden skin and dark hair Kenji had. But hers was curly and in lose spirals that was tied back into a high ponytail with a white velvet scrunchy. She wore a thick red tunic over brown yoga pants and furred boot slippers. She had on tinted lip balm Ben often used on interviews and…
“It’s great to finally meet you!” Ben said, smiling brightly when she put him down.
“Oh? Has Kenji told you anything about me?”
“He may have mentioned gardening and teas.” Ben said. “Of which I am eager to see and taste.”
Candy giggled and elbowed Kenji. “You got yourself a keeper, Mijo.”
Kenji let out a huff but smiled regardless.
“Your Father is on a call right now, but I know someone in the sunroom who would be sooooo excited to see you!”
Kenji grinned and sped past her.
“Son?” She called.
“Yeah?”
“Your boyfriend?” She asked.
Kenji sped back and took Ben’s hand. “Right, sorry Babe.”
“It’s Carmen, I get it.” Ben said dismissively, noting how Candy beamed at Ben’s reaction.
“Aw, you’re still a doting brother!” Candy teased.
“I think it’s cute.” Ben said and Kenji smiled at him.
“Ready to meet the most important lady in my life excluding my mother?”
“Good save.” Ben teased and Kenji chuckled, leading him past a large sitting area with a plush red sofa set and armchairs around a curved tv and sound system mounted on the wall and a fireplace to the left, burning away fragrant wood.
They walked down a wide hallway, the walls decorated with family pictures and photos of the ocean and various sights around the island and Seattle itself.
“You guys really like Seattle.” Ben said.
“It might be a little farther, but Dad has an office building there and a condo where Mom and Carmen chill during summer weekends. We used to live in Cali, but after I left, I guess they relocated to Washington for good. Especially after the bullying…”
“It’s amazing. What parents will do for their children.” Ben said softly.
Kenji paused outside a door and closed his eyes before sighing. “Yeah. It is.”
He opened a white door with a large glass panel with a soft gauzy white curtain with reflective green sequins stitched in them in patterns that looked like ivy or vines on the inside. The walls of the room were a light minty green with metal work on the walls of sunflowers, daisies and chrysanthemums. Two walls had large windows that opened inwards to let in the cold air, another fireplace sheltered from the breeze and with a low back black cushioned wide bench with thick legs looked to be made from bleached driftwood before it. Most of the furniture looked to be made from sturdy carved driftwood, pale gray cushions and blankets on it, along with a basket piled high with furry or fleece throws and a few bookshelf cabinets with thick glass sheltering the treasures inside.
But before the fireplace on the wide bedlike bench, with green led light cat eared headphones over her head and staring at her switch as she played what Ben noticed was Stardew Valley, was Kenji’s treasure.
She was also plump and short like her mother, with her big brown lashed eyes and full lips. Her skin was very pale and her waist length black hair pin straight. Her hair was dyed green about five inches from her scalp and in two high pigtails. And her lips were chapped from how she was biting them.
She wore blue jean capris despite the cold weather, a black t-shirt and red and pink socks with a pink cartoon lion and a thick looking sword on them. She laid on her stomach and Ben saw her phone was on a podcast; episode 68 of King Falls Am, so she couldn’t hear Kenji go behind her.
Kenji poked the small of her back, causing her to scream and pull her switch to her chest, kicking out as she rolled over.
“If I die in the mines, I’m so gonna…Ji?” She looked down at her game to pause it and place on the back of the bench as she jumped up and ran around to hug her older brother.
“You did come!” She squealed.
“I did!” Kenji yelled back happily. “I missed you so much!”
“Dad said you would be coming, and I was so excited because I thought you were still in India. How was it? Did you eat a lot of spicy food? Did you pet an elephant?”
“Uh, I kinda just bummed around a camp, kiddo.” Kenji said. “I was…I wasn’t in a really good headspace…”
“Oh. I get it.” She said softly and rubbed her arm, then noticed Ben.
“Hi, Carmen.” Ben said nervously.
“Hi?” She asked.
“Oh, Carmen, this is Ben. He’s my…my boyfriend.” Kenji said.
Carmen looked from Ben to Kenji and back.
“Oh, no, he’s way too good looking for you.” She said, shaking her head.
“Hey!” Kenji yelled.
Ben watched them bicker for a bit and smiled as Kenji pulled his sister close and started giving the smaller Kon sibling a noogie. He reached into his book bag and quickly plucked a receipt out of a bag, holding it out to them.
“Kenji?” He called and they both paused, Kenji grinning when he saw the black bag.
“We found something you might like.” Kenji said and took the bag, giving it to Carmen.
She reached in and pulled out a small Miles Morales plush gasping and hugging it to her chest.
“Oh, my gosh! I love him! How did you know?”
“It was mostly Ben.” Kenji said. “He made me watch the movie and I saw your snapchat posts and we saw it, so…”
She hugged Kenji, then Ben. “Thank you guys so much! I’ve asked Owen to keep an eye out and I’d pay him back, but he never understands what I mean!”
She smiled and hugged the plush again.
“Kenji, get in here!” She said, picking up her phone to take a picture with him. “Ben, you too!”
Ben awkwardly stood next to Kenji, who threw an arm around his waist as Carmen held up the plush and snapped a picture, Ben happy he smiled at the last second, not looking too awkward.
“Um…can I post that Ben’s your boyfriend?” Carmen asked, lowering her phone to look at her brother. “She…She kinda follows me still.”
“Yeah.” Kenji said. “Go ahead.”
“Ben?” She looked at him.
“I’m out and good. Go ahead.” He said, waving his hand.
“Okay. Annnnnd…post!” She said and smiled at the picture. Her smile fell and she touched under her chin.
“Carmen?” Ben asked.
“Oh!” She blinked and smiled. “So um…was the flight alright?”
“Yeah. Hey…” Kenji hugged her. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
“I am. I promise. I start my new school after break so, that’s fun.” She said.
“New schools are fun.” Ben said. “I had to start a new school too.”
“Oh. Why?” Carmen asked.
“…I was bullied. Really bad. Like, I could’ve died from an asthma attack bad.”
“What?” Carmen squawked.
“I was left outside overnight with my hands tied. I couldn’t get to my inhaler while I was panicking.” Ben said, looking at the floor. “No one really knew I had asthma. Inhalers cost like…six hundred dollars. And my bullies…I was scared they would take it or use it as ammunition.”
Carmen hugged Ben tight.
“You’re okay, right?” She asked, voice wobbly. “Like…now?”
“Yeah. My mom moved us to San Antonio where I met the coolest people and even moved to California with them. They’re going to move back again, so…I guess I’ll just find my own way from there.”
“You could move in with Kenji!” She said. “Since you’re boyfriends and all!”
“Uh, I think he wants to go back to Texas though, kiddo. That’s where he wants to set up shop.” Kenji said awkwardly.
“Long distance sucks!” Carmen huffed. “And besides! You can move into our old neighborhood when I was a baby!”
She turned to Ben. “We moved to Cali when I was like, six. And now…”
“Washington is really pretty.” Ben said with a tilt of his head.
“And I get to have so many cute raincoats and boots!” She said excitedly.
“Carmen hates the sun.” Kenji said.
“If you live in Texas, we can visit you as much as we want with Daddy’s plane!” She said. “And then you guys can come see us when summer gets too unbearable.”
Ben smiled.
“Any excuse to see you, Carmen.” He said. “You’re really cool for a high schooler.”
She blushed and smiled. “Thanks. I um…thanks.”
There was a knock on the doorframe and Ben felt his face heat when he saw the man.
“Hello.” He said, looking at Ben. “We have yet to meet. I am Kenji’s father, Kosei.”
He held out a hand and when Ben shook it, in engulfed his own smaller one in a warm, strong grip.
The man looked just like Kenji, save lighter hair with streaks of gray and a close trimmed beard. Ben would say he looked like a neater version of his favorite Overwatch character.
“Ben Pincus.” He said softly.
Kosei made a puzzled face. “Pincus? I feel like I know that name.”
Ben shrugged a bit, noting how the man had released his hand.
“Welcome to our home, Ben.” He said and smiled warmly, Ben blushing harder.
Kenji blinked. And paled when he saw how pink Ben’s blush was.
‘…left overnight with my hands tied…’
He remembered something he had long buried away.
“Fuck.” He said out loud.

A/N: So, I’ve become super obsessed with Stardew Valley recently (like I’ve clocked about 70hrs into the game despite having it less than two weeks). I realized how much the sides would actually enjoy the game and so this came about... So yeah, enjoy!
Thomas groaned as he yanked the pillow out from under him and smushed it against his face, trying to stop the anxious thoughts. Finally, he got up, knowing that just laying there wouldn’t solve anything. So, Thomas took a seat at his laptop, wondering what he could do to help calm Virgil. Thomas may have needed a nap, but Virgil needed help first.
Thomas messaged a couple of his friends, asking for something to help his anxious side relax. For the most part, the advice wasn’t all that helpful: breathe, avoid caffeine, exercise… Yeah, sure, they were all valid advice, but Thomas could tell that those wouldn’t ease the anxious side this time.
As he was about to start Googling ideas, a final message arrived, suggesting that he play a calming game, with a couple of suggestions: Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, or phone games with the word idle in them. Thomas knew Virgil would refuse to play Minecraft, just because ‘do you know what playing that would do to my image?’ He also figured that phone games would be out as he found them a bit mindless, which didn’t really help stop anxious thoughts. With that, Thomas pulled up Animal Crossing. Of course, it being 60 bucks, that made that game a bit unreasonable for right now. He did scribble a note to himself to discuss including it in his budget with Logan as he now wanted to play it himself. With that, he looked up Stardew Valley. It was much cheaper than Animal Crossing, so there was that. It looked to be some farming game. Maybe…
 ****
Virgil sat on the couch, trying to calm his head. Too many things were stressing him out and even blasting his music– so loud that if he were a real human, his hearing would be gone within the hour–he still could hear his thoughts. Nothing was working and he knew that he was probably affecting Thomas, but that just added to his list of stuff.
A hand gently tapped his shoulder, jolting him off of the couch, teetering on a panic attack. Thomas motioned the side’s headphones as Virgil started trying to regulate his breathing. The side didn’t want to take them off and hear the lecture about controlling his anxiety better and how he was failing Thomas, but he also knew that he deserved it. He knew this was going to be coming since he woke up this morning with that feeling of ‘everything is wrong.’
“Sorry, Virge. I didn’t mean to scare you like that. You weren’t responding to me waving a hand in front of you though.” Thomas said, gently.
“Just get it over with, Thomas. I know I’m failing and it’s a bad day and I’m sorry but that isn’t good enough and I should be able to handle this better but I can’t and…”
“Hey, hey. Take a deep breath, Vee. This isn’t bad. I know it’s not your fault. You’re struggling just as much as I am with this.”
Virgil was close to tears. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s OK, you don’t need to apologize. Here, this is what I wanted to show you.”
Virgil accepted the laptop Thomas offered him, wondering what new horror was about to be added to his list. Instead, it was some load screen with ‘Stardew Valley’ on it. Virgil looked at his host in confusion, wondering what he was supposed to be panicking about regarding this.
“It’s a farming game. Talyn recommended it to me and I thought you could use the distraction. The Internet seems to like it and it isn’t Minecraft. I even saw that one of the NPCs smokes pot, another likes spooky places, and there are these little candy things that are excited if you give them an ear of corn so are essentially Patton.”
“Oh…” Virgil wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do with this. “And you gave me your new game because…?”
“Music isn’t helping you, so maybe a game can! If you don’t want to play, it’s OK, but it’s an idea at least.”
Virgil looked at the laptop. “Are you sure?”
“About the game helping? Well, no but it’s something we can try.”
“No, about lending me your laptop? What if I drop it or accidentally download something icky and break it or…”
“Hey, breathe. I know you guys said that whatever I have on my laptop, you guys get on yours within the mindscape, so you should have it on yours. So, I guess if you want to go grab your laptop, you can, but I figured that this would be easiest for you as you don’t have to lose sight of me while anxiety is trying to list every bad thing that has a high chance of never happening.”
“Oh…”
“So, you going to play?” Thomas asked, playfully nudging his anxious side.
Virgil shifted so he was sure he wouldn’t accidentally drop his host's laptop before hitting the new button. He went through the character design page and watched the scene with the grandfather. Then the game opened and he started figuring out how the game mechanics worked.
Thomas smiled as he watched the anxious side plant some parsnips before heading into town to start meeting people. Not even five minutes into the game, the host could feel the knot in his stomach vanish and he finally felt relaxed.
“So?”
“Shut up, Sanders. I have parsnips to water.”
Thomas laughed but watched the anxious side play for a it longer. He waited until the side was halfway through the month without another shoot of anxiety hitting him before deciding that he could go take his nap now. Virgil waved him off, as he harvested parsnips from the little patch outside his cabin.
Virgil wasn’t aware of how much time in real life passed before Patton’s voice intruded on his new mental lists of things he needed to do in the game. “Hey there, kiddo! You doing alright?”
“Hey, Pat. Yeah, I’m chill.”
“Is that Thomas’s laptop? Whatcha doing with it?” Patton asked, curiously.
“He downloaded a game for me and now I’m playing it.”
“Oooh! Can I watch!?”
“Sure.”
Patton jumped into the seat next to his best friend. The game looked cute and Virgil seemed to have put a lot of work into his little farm already. Patton cuddled in close and watched. The Flower Dance was his favorite part as Virgil moved into the first day of summer. Virgil frantically went around preparing his little farm for summer planting, finding that there was not enough time in the short days to accomplish everything he wanted to.
“…noying as you!”
“Hey, shut up. I’m busy!”
The twins looked at the couch in surprise to see Patton curled up against Virgil while Virgil worked on Thomas’s laptop. They glanced at each other, wondering what was going on, but also reminded of what they had been doing before popping up.
“Hey, since the two of you are here, can you settle something for us?” Roman asked.
“What’s up, kiddos?” Patton asked, looking over as Virgil cranked up the game’s music in response.
“Well, Remus…” Roman started off on a long-winded rant that was rudely interrupted constantly by noise from whatever Virgil was doing. Finally, the prince moved over and looked at the laptop. It was some computer game around farming? Virgil opened the social tab and looked through the list, seeing how many hearts he had with Marnie.
“Oooh, ‘single’? Does that mean you can go woo some villagers?” Roman asked, grinning.
“Once you have enough friendship hearts, yeah. Then date and marry them. You can even have two children with them.” Virgil answered, closing out of the social screen.
“That looks interesting! When is it my turn?!”
“Not now.”
“But I want to play the new game!”
“You have your own computer.”
“But it’ll be a whole new game! This one is already well underway!”
“You are not messing up my farm, Princey. I’ve put a lot into it and I do not need you going in and messing things up.”
“If only we could all play together! That would be so much fun!” Patton said.
“I… well…maybe? Let me finish this day and I can check something.”
“You think there’s a way to do multiplayer!?”
“If I remember the start screen well enough, yeah.”
Patton started giggling as he jumped off the couch. “I’ll go get my laptop then! Come on, you two!”
Virgil rolled his eyes as Pat and the twins vanished back into the mindscape. He finished up his day before closing out of his farm and looking into the co-op option. He slowly figured out how to set it up and had just opened the new farm when the three of them returned with their laptops.
It took Virgil a little investing to figure out how to share it with the others but it worked out and soon they had their first crop planted. Not even three days into the game, Roman had announced his intentions of wooing Elliot, who he insisted was the most romantic NPC. Remus liked pulling trash out of their little ponds and gifting it to everyone. Patton was talking to everyone and just enjoying the game. Virgil was happy that the planting and harvesting of crops was less stressful with extra help.
 ****
It was too quiet. Logan liked the quiet, but it was also nerve-wracking. He knew the twins had been arguing pretty much all afternoon over Remus having released a goose into the Imagination and it had apparently chased Roman from one end to the other with a knife. Something about some game. It was still too early in the afternoon for the twins to have stopped yelling at each other. He also didn’t hear Patton singing or a movie in the background, breaking up the silence. Logan also knew that this was a bad day for Virgil, but he assumed that the anxious side fell asleep or something.
“Have you seen the trash rat?” a voice asked behind Logan.
Logan would deny the small shout and jumping as he spun to see Dee standing there, unamused. He quickly recomposed himself and straightened his tie. Dee noted that the logical side’s eyes were relieved though upon seeing him.
“Salutations, Dee. No, I have not seen Remus. I have not seen anyone in the past couple of hours, in fact.”
“Locked yourself in your room again, have you?”
“No, I have not. I was reading in the commons. I eventually noticed that everything was too calm though and went to investigate. You are the first side I have seen since.”
Dee raised an eyebrow. “Well, those four don’t have enough brain cells to open a jar with instructions right in front of them.”
“Which also concerns me.”
“Have you checked Thomas’s house, yet? The hissing cat of a side would probably place himself where he could see Thomas if the anxiety from earlier was any indication.”
Logan considered it. “No, I have not. That is a valid point though.”
“Let’s go, then.”
Logan hadn’t even fully risen up before he heard Roman screeching. He assumes that this meant the goose with a knife didn’t kill the prince in the Imagination, then. Logan noted all the sides who’d been missing, sitting around the living room on their laptops. Roman was screeching at his twin about something with hitting someone with a slingshot.
“Glad to see that you lot didn’t get yourselves lost in the mindscape.” Dee drawled.
“Shut up, I have blueberries to harvest and I already have that mess over there to ignore,” Virgil stated.
“What?” Dee and Logan responded in unison, confused.
“We’re playing a farming game! Do you two want to join?” Patton asked excitedly.
“Wiki says that multiplayer only goes up to four, Pat,” Virgil commented.
“Well, if you’re playing a game, there are bound to be mods.”
 ****
Thomas woke up groaning as light hit him. Blearily he glanced at the time, surprised to see that what was supposed to be a short nap turned into a full night of sleep plus some. He ran a hand through his hair, knowing that he was in for a long lecture from Logan about sleeping for 16 hours.
He got out of bed and got ready for the day, unnaturally so calm that it mildly worried him. He couldn’t even worry himself about the lack of anxiety. He finally started downstairs before the voices in the living room alerted him to the fact his sides were all present.
Thomas peeked around the wall, to see all his sides sitting around the living room on their laptops. A giant whiteboard sat in front of the TV with Logan’s scribbled handwriting all over it. On Thomas’s coffee table sat his laptop, with the game that he’d given Virgil open. It took a moment before Thomas realized what was going on, but he chuckled to himself when he did.
After taking a picture of the living room, Thomas continued downstairs as Logan stood up and went to the whiteboard. He scribbled something next to Roman’s name before coloring in a patch of squares. Thomas greeted the room. Logan was the only one to glance over to the host. Everyone else kept their eyes focused on the game, though they all muttered a greeting back.
Thomas went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. He decided on some eggs and toast. Easy, no real thought process. He opened the fridge and pulled out the egg carton. Taking an egg out, he was struck with the disappointed thought of ‘the spirits and chickens must be displeased with me today’.
The host marched into the living room and over to his anxious side. He didn’t say anything as he held the egg up to him. Virgil glanced up and noticed his host and the egg. The anxious side didn’t have anything to say, so merely shrugged.
“The spirits and chickens must be displeased then.”
“I don’t even know what that means!”
“They are displeased.”
Patton giggled. “You want to join us, Thomas?”
“We already have a cabin and character set up for you, if you would like to join our group one. Just be careful not to close the command prompt. It will shut the game down. We had to add mods to play with everyone.” Logan commented, looking over his board of information.
Thomas looked around at his living room full of sides, peacefully–or well as peacefully as he could ever hope– playing the game. Sure, the twins were bickering, but that was more of their sibling relationship than actual anger this time.
“Won’t it mess up whatever you guys already got going on?”
“Nah, Lo would just reorganize who tends to which crops. Real issue would be who you plan on dating. I’ve called Elliot, Patton is going for Sam, Remus wants Emily, Logan is after Maru, Dee wants to date Shane, and Vee is in between dating Sebastian or Abigail or even just rooming with Krobus. But if you would rather one of them, I’m sure we’d be willing to let you, our most amazing and beloved host, steal our crush.” Roman said.
“Flattery will not save you if he wants the isolated writer on the beach, kiss-up,” Dee commented.
“Statistically speaking, it is more likely that Thomas would choose one of Virgil’s choices due to the fact he is in between three choices or one of the remaining dating NPCs. Factoring in his preferences though, he is most likely to pursue Sam or Sebastian.”
“I have no idea what any of that means, but sure. I’ll join. Just let me get some breakfast.” Thomas glanced at his anxious side. “Without the spirits or whatever being disappointed. I’ll have you know that these are technically large eggs and I have no idea why that is an important factor or whatever.”
“That works. I will factor your playing into our assignments.” Logan said, setting his laptop in front of Patton. “Make sure Logic gets to be before the hard bedtime.”
Thomas laughed as he shook his head. He went back into the kitchen to make something to eat, occasionally peeking into the living room as he heard Dee try and convince Logan to give him a certain crop while the logical side rearranged the work. Thomas couldn’t help the smile as he decided that he would need to find some way to thank Talyn for this suggestion. Still, that was for later. He wasn’t getting anything other than virtual farming done today since all of his sides seemed to be intent on this.
“The spirits are very happy today.” Thomas found himself muttering, not sure what it meant but knowing that it was a good thing.

Gamertag
Fandom: Stardew Valley
Character: Sebastian
A/N: Anything in italics are text speaking.
Logging into your game you waited for the loading screen to finish. Once it was you watched as your character and other peoples characters spawned it. Pressing the F button your friends' list showed up. Most of the people you use to play with no longer enjoyed the game. The quests were too long and repetitive, they needed to grinded for a weapon upgrade, or as they put it simply grew up. However, you kept meeting people and friending some from random raiding groups. That was how you met him, you didn't know his real name only his gamertag; Obsidivoid. He stood up for you when the tank of the party decided to berate you because your buff ran out on him and you were healing someone else. You normally wouldn't have replied and just keep on doing your job. However, today had been a rough day for you before work. Your fingers raced across the keyboard as you typed out your rant. Before you could even hit enter the assassin in your party had, in a few more words to fuck off and stop being a dick to the healers. It seemed like he been in this party for some time with the tank. Of course, this didn't really help anything simply made the dungeon long as the two stopped every now and then to tell the other off. At the last room, your internet lagged out just as you were about to get to the final boss. The tank started the boss instead of waiting and locked you out. They didn't make it a did a total wipe. You had stated when your internet leveled out how sorry you were and that your internet lagged out for a bit. The others in the party seemed to understand; you silently thanked them. As soon as the tank went down he went off. Calling you everything he could think of, you swear he had to have made a few up. At this point, everyone else is the party was defending you, few stating if he thinks healing is so easy then he should main it. The second boss fight went better and only loot was divided up the tank left. You thanks the other that stood up for you. Most didn't reply simply left the group and move on it was nothing new. Obsidivoid, however, did reply.
“Don't worry about it. Dude was an ass and doesn't understand his own role let alone the role of a healer.” That was how your friendship started. Over the months of playing with him, you were developing a crush.
Looking at you friends list you found the username you were looking for. It said he was idle but you didn't believe that as you brought the map up to see him moving around.
“Hey.” You sent him a whisper as you summoned your mount and headed to where he was.
“Oh hey. I didn't notice you got on.”
“You see the new event coming?”
“Ya. Seems cool. You going to try it out?”
“Can't I’m moving remember?”
“Oh ya.” You smiled as you stood in front of his character emoting at him.
“Oh! I should give you my messenger user so we can still talk.”
“Ya, that sounds great!” Once he gave you his messenger user you opened up you're and typed it in. You sent him a friend request.
“SnowStarxX? Really?” His character was laughing now.
“Shut up! I was 15 when I made it.” Once he finished laughing at your user the two of you plan out how to spend your late night online before the move.
Spring was done and gone with, your first months were not the best as you tried to get a handle on the whole farming thing. It was a total change from your desk job at Joja. More than a few times you wanted to call it quits and head back to the city. But you stuck it out and made it through spring. It took you all of spring to save up money for not only summer seeds up getting internet set up at the farm. If Obsidivoid hadn't given you his messenger and Abigail didn't give you her family wi-fi password you think you might have died. In spring you became close to Abigail once she learned you were a gamer like her.
“Gamers girls gang. Let's go!” Abigail chanted when she learned you played video games. If you had free time from the farm you would crash in her room and texted Obsidivoid from your phone as she played her games. Through Abigail, you met Sam, who you were certain was the sun in human form. Then there was Sebastian, who had to be the new moon in human form.
About to head out of Pierre's store you heard Abigail call for you to stop.
“Y/n! Heard you just got internet out on the farm.” Abigail seemed just as excited as you were when the installation guy showed up.
“Ya, I did.” When you confirmed that information Abigail looked like she was going to shoot through the roof with happiness.
“That means you can join us on raid night! We need a healer.”
“Uh. Ya sure. I’m down,” you looked at the clock on your phone checking the time. “You have my messenger, send me the information. Now I need to get this seeds planted before the sun gets to hit.” You rushed out the door of the store and towards your farm almost running Lewis over to which you had to shout an apology.
Finally, the day was over, the seeds were in the ground watered. More of the farm was clear of trees and you got a few items in the bundles at the community center. Once you were showered and called your dog in the house you sat down at your computer. You set it up by the window because you didn't know how hot it was going to get. You didn't have an a/c yet so this window was going to stay open all season. Since you had been away from the game for so long you had to wait for the updates as you did you checked over the messages Abigail sent you before texting Obsidivoid that you were getting back online. He sent you back cheering and clapping emojis.
“You missed me.”
“I did. Wish I could hang out with you but friends want to do a few dungeons because we have a healer.”
“I thought I was the only healer you needed. 😞”
“You are! This is one of my friend's friend. I haven't really talked to her.”
“So this healer is a her. Interesting.😏”
“Stop it.”
“Or what? 😝”
“😤”
“😘. You can't stop me!”
“Why did emoticons become a thing?”
“Because they are great. You like them too!”
“I don't right now.”
“😆”
Looking up from your phone you saw that the updates were finished, clicking play and logging in you played the waiting game again. Abigail messaged you asking where you were. You told her you had to do updates but was about to load in. As soon as your character appeared so did a friend request that Abigail had sent you a month back. Accepting it you immediately you got a request to join her party. Moving your party members health bars to the side of your screen you saw a familiar username. You quickly sent a whisper him with one word.
“Sebastian?”  There was no reply as Abigail explain in party chat what you were going to do that night. Through the whole night, the only time Sebastian ever talked to you was when he needed heals. The night went smoothly and at 3am everyone wished each other good night. You didn't have a chance to talk with Sebastian he was offline on the game and on the messenger. Obsidivoid was Sebastian you had a face and name to your crush now. However, it seemed like he didn't want to talk to you. He didn't reply to your messages on both the messenger and the game; you guessed he needed space but after a bit, it just hurt. It made you feel like you did something wrong like you were the bad guy here.
You were over at Robin’s dropping off an Earth Crystal Demetrius had requested. You were about to leave when you bumped into Sebastian.
“Oh…. um hi,” the two of you stood in the hall between the lab and Robin's storefront awkwardly for a few minutes. Robin peeked over the countertop and yelled.
“Sebby why don't you show Y/n your games! I heard she plays games too!” With mumbles and grumbles of words, you could not understand. Sebastian grab your hand and pulled you down the stairs to his room. Once the door was closed he released your hand and moved away from you. He hadn't looked at you since you bumped into him.
“I’m sorry,” your voice was quiet which caused him to look at you. From his interaction with you in person and the way Abigail talked about you, you were never this quiet.
“I don't know what I did but I’m really sorry.” Then he saw it, the tears streaming down your face. You thought it was your fault as to why he wasn't talking with you.
“No, no, no,” Sebastian moved back towards you trying to wipe away the tears that fell.
“You didn't do anything. It was me. I…” He sighed as he looked at you. “I didn't know what to do. I’ve had this crush on you for a while than to have you here and not know it. It didn't know what to do.”
“You have a crush on me?” You sniffed as you looked up at him the tear stains clear on your face.
“Ya, I hope you don't find me weird now.” You shook your head no smiling at him.
“That would just be hypocritical of me then.”
“You ha-” Just then there was a loud boom and you felt the house move a bit. You both rushed up the stairs and went to look out a window in the lobby as Robin had the radio on the weather station.
“Looks like Pelican Town is in for some rough weather for tonight. Best to stay indoors with this high winds. You don't know what could be swept up.” You heard the weather say.
“Oh no! Buster! He is still outside.” You rushed towards the door but Sebastian stopped you.
“I’m sure Buster found a place to wait out the storm. There is no way I'm letting you got out in this.” Sebastian stated as he held the door closed.
“He is right,” Robin spoke up as she turned the radio down. “I can’t in good conscience let you go out in this storm. Better go find those extra pillows and blankets. Maru should also have clothes you can wear for the night. Robin moved out from behind the counter and towards the hallway. Sebastian said that you would be in his room as he led you back down to the basement.

two in one because I fell asleep lol
ball state visit day!! I kept having dreams about sleeping in too late and not getting there on time, and the whole dream was tinted in shades of brown. (also I want to mention before I forget that the night before, I had a nightmare about a life sized spring trap living in the corner of my room that would walk towards you and attack like a slow weeping angel unless you stared at him with yellow glasses on. he went from terrifying to being my boyfriend for a moment and then back to terrifying before I woke up. I'm glad I have a desk in that corner of my room so I KNOW its impossible, even in a half-asleep headspace.) but I got up with plenty of time to spare, showered, washed my hair, had breakfast, gathered my things, and we were off! we left a lot earlier the I expected because my mom wanted to drive around campus and see what it was like and bring my sister along. the drive was pert straightforward until we had to take a bunch of weird directions to actually get on campus. we drove around looking at all the buildings (LOTS of brick, huh) and peeking into a couple of them. my sister and I walked through the woods a little bit, looked through the bookstore, and looked some of the photography pieces in the halls. eventually it got closer to the time my friends agreed to meet up, and I anxiously waited for them to walk up. thankfully they both arrived at the same time and my mom razzed my friend SO HARD for looking like a skeleton of a man while the doors/windows of the car were still closed. I got out of the car and we walked around the art museum for a while before they closed. there was a pop-art exhibit upstairs and a LOT of religious and abstract and historical stufff downstairs. they were closing really soon so we headed put and walked around campus and talked and warmed ip to each other since were had to be really quiet in the museum. we walked through some buildings and talked about classes and campus until we got to the bookstore building with the food court. I had actually been there a couple of times for jazz band competitions over the years in high school, but I was still a bit of a nervous wreck trying to navigate it lmao. but we had a nice lunch and I ate too fast and got hiccups for the rest of the got dang day. my friend paid for my lunch which was very nice of her, thank you friend :> after lunch we toured the rest of the building where my art classes would be next year. we walked into one room and someone left some BEAUTIFULLY stylized cartoony drawings that I found really impressive. after that we headed off to the dorms where they gave me a mini tour and we played an INTENSE game uno flip. then another, where we did shitty accents at each other and accused each other of being homophobic/abelist (JOKING, OBVIOUSLY. 2 of us are queer and 2 of us are neurodiverse so its fine lmao) and after uno we play a little whiplash until skeleton man had to go. he promised to play Stardew valley with someone else at 9. I had asked my mom to pick me up a little before nine, but unfortunately she had some trouble with directions and we had to spend a while walking around outside trying to figure out where the FUCK she was. we eventually found her lol. my mom and I drove home and talked about my day and got Burger King. I ate too much and got too full and had to lie down when I got home oops. I think I went to bed a little early
and as for today, it was really nice and relatively uneventful. I woke up early after some tossing and turning and apparently taking off my sweatshirt in the middle of the night?? somehow??? since the weather was so nice I spent a lot of my time outside with my cat :) my sister talked me into going to goodwill, and while at first I didn't want to because looking through shirts at goodwill is boring, I went anyway because we would go to dollar tree afterwards. we took the car because we were in the main road less than 30 seconds and it would have been too hot to comfortably walk. it felt really freeing to just be able to drive somewhere! going to goodwill was actually a lot nicer than I thought it would be; it felt nice getting out of the house, although I now realize I had just been out all day yesterday?? meh. I kind of enjoyed filing through shirts with her until I got really hot under my mask. I wanted to check if they had any yarn grab bags, but to no avail. so we walked into dollar tree looking for snacks and possible art supplies. my sister lead me around a corner, and apparently they had rearranged the store a little because all the art supplies were on one wall!! I was actually pretty surprised at their selection of stuff; there were KNITTING NEEDLES! and chalk markers! but most importantly they had Y A R N! and pretty ok quality yarn, too. very nice cute pastel colors, so I had to buy one small skein of each of the six colors. earlier today I had seen a tutorial on how to crochet fairy wings from a wire frame, so that morning I took an old beat up pair of wings my sister and I had and stripped off the feather boa border and out away the pantyhose material in the middle. one wire popped out of place, so I gotta figure out how to fix that before I can continue. but after our shopping, we sat in the car and chilled. listening to musoc and I ate the cheezits I bought. we drove around a little bit, circling around the park once, and returning home, making sure to leave the car how we found it so dad wouldn't notice that we borrowed it. shhhh, secret mission. I changed into shorts, and we both laid outside in the backyard to enjoy the sun. my sister took the trampoline and I took the hammock. Lily came and hopped onto my lap for a while, and I pet her and did my best to shield her eyes from the sun. I almost fell asleep lol. eventually the house blocked the sun, so I went inside and stared making a frozen pasta thing. I split it with my sister and it was really good. I played some stardew valley, taking breaks to stretch my legs n stuff, but quit when I accidentally died in skulll cavern trying to get to level 100. I think I'll have to wait for the best luck day to do it, because I wasn't making great progress anyway. I'll just redo that day. anyhow I showed my dad the yarn I got (telling him my sister and I walked there), had some ice cream, brushed my teeth, and now im laying in bed with my cat, a fan on, and my window cracked open to hear rolling thunder from a nearby storm <3
