#Repost @derekdrymonart • • • • • • Stormtroopers Like everyone else growing up in the 80’s, I collected and played with Star Wars action figures (I called them my ‘guys’) I only had one Stormtrooper but always wished I had a hundred (Darth Vader NEEDED his gang around him!) Around 6th grade my friends discovered girls and cigarettes so they ditched their Star Wars stuff and headed for more mature pastures. “What do you mean you’re throwing it all out?” this late bloomer would ask in horror. I grabbed up Stormtroopers anywhere I could find them, riding my bike all over town to root through my friends’ garbage (one of my buddies had dumped his stuff in the lake so I had him take me around in his row boat to fish it all out) I had finally gotten Darth his troop of Troopers! Of course, maturity was inevitably...
