The story of Roger Sharpe, the young midwesterner who overturned New York City's 35 year-old ban on pinball machines.

Yes, it's formulaic. But the formula is used to make a very enjoyable and funny feel-good movie that deserves to be much more widely seen.

That it's also gently making fun of the liberties movies based on real events tend to take is an additional plus.

Surprised the mustache wasn't listed separately in the end credits.

Hard to believe that pinball was indeed banned in many US cities.
