One of them is that the place somewhere in the middle (as per their offscreen meeting in S6/S3) is a place they picked together at some point after they broke up (maybe in "Forever"?) and made a pact that If they ever really needed each other, they could meet there. I imagine that it's near a beach somewhere, and that they sneak away sometimes to meet there and just spend time together when they really miss each other or need comfort.

Another is that in "Surprise", when they were saying goodbye to each other on the dock and they get attacked by the vamps and Buffy is thrown into the water, Angel jumps in after her instead of going after the vamps because he panicked and reacted quickly due to having seen her die by drowning the previous season.

Another is that in "Chosen" when Buffy asks Angel what the highlight of their relationship was, he looks away because he's thinking about their day in "I Will Remember You".

ok last one lol....Buffy has a box that she keeps in the back of her closet with all of the things that Angel has given her: the jacket, the cross necklace, the book of poems (that she found again at a bookshop randomly and bought because she lost the original), and a Claddagh ring. She doesn't ever really open the box, but she can't bring herself to get rid of any of it, and when it's time for spring cleaning, she pulls it out and just takes a moment to remember. And Angel always kept a picture of Buffy in a book that he doesn't really let himself open anymore, but he keeps it in his bedside table at all times, along with his Claddagh ring on a chain (that we see him wear in AtS S2 Ep1).

I don't know if you ever answered this but what do you think Buffy/Angel's love language is?

ouuuu what a fun question! I've never answered this before!

Ok so, in terms of expressing love, I think Angel's love language is gift giving. We see him give Buffy several gifts (the cross, the necklace, the poetry book) that are very meaningful and thoughtful and personal. He also does this for his friends in LA (the clothes, the gifts after he comes back from the monastery, etc.)

I think Buffy both expresses and receives love through physical touch. We often see her caressing her loved one's face/hair, holding hands, cuddling, subtle touch, and she often seeks comfort through being held, hugging, or physical intimacy. I think quality time is also another form of love she likes to receive.

As for Angel, I think he feels most loved when he receives words of affirmation. We see how moved he is when Buffy tells him that she doesn't notice his vamp face, or when she says she loves him, or when she's trying to convince him that he is capable of good and that his life is worth living. Even in LA, he often feels empowered when his friends give him words of encouragement.

Oh one thousand percent!!!! They would be absolutely insufferable about it lol their kids would be mortified. It would be constant PDA.

I mean, we all saw what happened the minute Angel turned human in 'I Will Remember You', those two have very little self-restraint when it comes to each other lol. If Angel Shanshu's, they would take their second chance and milk it for all it's worth, as they should!
