Final week of Spellbound!

Sept. 12
I woke up a bit after 1PM.
Spent a bit of time chatting and whatnot before making today’s Hello Fresh meal. Black bean & poblano pepper burritos. It was alright. I think stuff like the enchiladas were tastier Tex-Mex meals that we’ve had. But me and bro liked it okay... dad’s been... yeah. I don’t feel like making myself morose over it.
Did some dishes and chatted before exercising.
First, today’s DD. 10 pop-up tripods with EC. Was a bit hesitant to do these so soon after eating.
Second, Chapter 25 of the SbP. I was to charge 2 spells. Already had “Deep Frost“ charged, but had to do charge up “Persuasion” as well. I kept the rest 1′ between sets. This was pretty fun and breezy - full stomach appreciated the chill.
Spent rest of night chatting and watching YouTube. Got to bed obscenely late again...

Sept. 13
I woke up barely before 1PM, today.
After a bit of Tumblr/YouTube, I got my exercise in early.
First, today’s DD. 3′ single leg balance stand with EC, only I did 3′ per side & back-to-back for a bit of a challenge (but no EEC, didn’t feel like doing the blind balance stand today). I knew I was capable of keeping my arms up for 6′ straight, but it was probably the tougher part. Regardless, a personal favorite for how meditative this exercise can be.
Second, Chapter 26 of the SbP. I was first to cast “Persuasion“, barely a successful roll.
Then, I was to charge & cast “Tracking“. 10′ meditation (yay for a chill exercise day after the past couple that utterly drained me from other activity.) Sat in half-lotus for most of it and tried to focus on breathing with my belly. Very calming, despite mind wandering a few times. Which is more than okay!
Spent rest of day chatting and watching movies. I went to bed in the red zone, but hours before yesterday. I think I was just too tired to make myself stay up or try to do much at that point.

Sept. 14
I woke up a bit before noon today.
First, today’s DD. 1′ hollow hold with EC. A bit of neck strain and whatnot... but manageable.
Second, Chapter 27 of the SbP. Since it was still on the belt, I was to cast “Silent Step“.
Probability rolled a success, so I didn’t have to charge an attack spell since there was still one available on belt.... so today didn’t necessarily require a workout from me.
That in mind, I guess I may as well do the next chapter today...
Last, Chapter 28 of the SbP. Today, I had to charge a few spells.
First of those, “Healing Level 1″. This was manageable, but those downward/upward dogs does stack some fatigue to make the plank hold more challenging. Max rest.
Second, I had to charge 2 defense spells (had none on belt). I opted to charge “Deflect“ and “Armor Level I“. For the former, I rested only 30″ & had some fun with the jacks (despite a bit of gut trouble). For the latter, I rested 1′ & that was pretty intense ab work!
Third, I had to charge 2 more attack spells (had one on belt, needed 3 in total). I opted to charge “Iron Strike“ and “Earth Rift“. For the former, I rest 1′ & still think it fun arm work! Rested about 1′ for the latter too, fun to do more jacks.
(In between the attack spells, went to go pick up some food...)
Last, “Dragon Armor“. Max rest. More ab work, more neck strain. But I managed to scrape through it. Probably the only fun bit were those boat folds. But done.
Most of my day was spent chatting and browsing stuff. Barely scratched fic writing tonight - but I did poke it. Got to bed obscenely late, though.

Sept. 15
I woke up after 1PM, today.
Started on exercise pretty early
First, today’s DD. 10 swipers with EC. Took a moment to get in a coordinated groove with these - but very manageable. (Again, fun knowing the procedural memory kick in - since I remember being confused about these in the beginning.)
(After getting roped into playing cards, doing some dishes, making dinner, taking a shower, and cleaning room...)
Second, Chapter 29 of the SbP. I was to cast 2 defense spells, casted “Armor Level I“ and “Deflect“.
I was then to cast an attack spell, I decided on “Earth Rift“. Rolled success (so didn’t need to cast another.)
Then, casted “Healing Level I“.
Finally I was to charge & cast “Morale Boost“. 1′ rest in between sets and I did very much enjoy this for all the punching.
Spent some time chatting and whatnot before heading for bed. Wasn’t sure about whether I had arranged for group tomorrow. Earlier than yesterday, but still in the red.

Sept. 16
I got up initially after 10AM.
Wasn’t sure if I had a trip reservation set up for today - I didn’t and wasn’t able to get to group today. Scheduled some later, did a bit of chatting before going back to bed because tired (around 2PM).
After a few hours more of sleep, I spent most of my time chatting and listening to a friend’s music before working out.
First, today’s DD. 2′ leg extensions with EC (donkey kicks). I counted 96 reps by the end of it.
Second, Chapter 30 of the SbP. I was to cast the following spells, “Dragon Armor”, “Time Stop“, and “Iron Strike“ (an attack spell).
I was then to charge & cast “Peacemaker“. Whew, I managed to get all 200 punches in the same squat hold. Quads were definitely burning and I had to throw those punches as fast as I could to keep it up. But mission accomplished!
More chatting and the usual for the night. Did get in a few more words for that fic. Got to bed later than yesterday.

Sept. 17
I got up after 1PM.
Spent time getting food, chatting, updating my fitness plans, and whatnot before doing my exercise today.
First, today’s DD. 50 climber taps with EC. Fun and manageable.
Second, Chapter 31 of the Spellbound Program. I was to charge and cast “Cursebreaker“, one last time. I opted for max rest. Arguably the most awkward aspect to this WO was navigating floor space. Belly work was the intensive part. But doable.
After that, internet went out. I decided to get dishes and writing progress in for a few hours. As much of a pain in the ass Spotify can be - having Premium is nice.
Got to bed late, but earlier than yesterday.

Sept. 18
I woke up around 10AM today.
Spent a few hours chatting and messing with Tumblr while I waited for Hello Fresh (and some new cookware) to arrive. Today’s meal was honey-drizzled paprika chicken. I very much liked how easy it was to make and that it tasted very nice. Might pre-mix paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to more evenly coat the cutlets next time. Threw the green beans in the rice cooker instead of microwave and made sure they were cooked enough this time, too.
After chatting, dishes, and medication management, I did today’s DD. 40 single leg bridges with EC (20/20). Just about manageable. Only planned exercise for today.
I then spent some time going over my experience with Spellbound for the following summary (and retooling my fitness plans for the next few months)~
I got to bed later than yesterday.

Summary of Experience:
I finished the Spellbound Program on September 17. I loved the story element and novel mechanics! I rather enjoyed this and can easily see myself revisiting it with increased challenge modifiers (like failing checks, resting even less, and charging everything at least once)!
I casted 40/41 charged spells (”Deep Frost” was the only one left). I succeeded at 3/4 probability checks (even though I operated on all successes for this run).

Kat had to put his cat Ishizu to sleep. Her kidneys failed, and the decision was made to end her suffering.
Kat's put together some Dire Lycantaur adopts (these are ART, not AVATARS) to help cover Ishizu’s funerary costs & replace some things he left back home. More info below!

@everyone 4:30 pm today, my beloved cat Ishizu drew her last breath. Her kidneys had failed and I elected to have her put to sleep. When her ashes are returned to me, I'll spread her amongst the yard with the rest of the family pets when I visit my family next spring.
I'm simply devastated. All I could do was hold her close and cry. I'm going to miss her forever and always.
Please, hug your pets tonight. Give em a kiss for me, and tell them how much you love them, okay?

@everyone tomorrow Mark's my 29th birthday. I'm going to take the day off of working, but theres a townhouse style apartment complex that were going to tour and do a viewing at. Their income requirements seem promising.
I'm also working on some dire Lycantaur adoptables to sell to help raise money for Ishizus final costs. Cremation was far more expensive than I had anticipated and I am absolutely rinsing through my savings because of just day to day expenses.
Let me know if anyone is interested in big cuddly werewolf Taurs.

@everyone Here's a teaser for the base I've made for the first batch of dire lycantaurs I want to sell as OTAs. Note: This will not be an avatar. Not saying it can't be done, just that I have no plans to make this as an avatar. If you're unfamiliar with Adopts/OTAs, they're designs that are often premade, and are sold either as a flat rate or an auction. Most times, you're buying the rights to that character for art, commissions, usually personal but sometimes commercial. I've gotta make a EULA for mine, but it should be pretty much in line with normal OTA TOS/EULA.

@everyone Been working the last day or so at coming up with the first batch of Dire lycantaurs. The first batch will be simpler--basic wolf-like markings and 6 colors. Batch 1 will be 25$ each thru paypal (or L equivalent)
Remember, this won't be an avatar. I know this isn't my normal MO as far as content goes, but art is a big passion of mine and the sale of these boys will help me cover Ishizu's 'funerary' costs, and help replace a lot of things I left back home when we finally do get a place to live.

Applying for fanclub lottery tickets (Sept 2017 updated system!)
If you are currently looking to apply for EXO or any Avex concert tickets I have an updated tutorial using Avex’s new ticketing system. Requirements: Fanclub membership for your group
Step 1. Check your fanclub membership.
For these tickets, you need fanclub membership. Make sure you know your password and fanclub ID number and also check to make sure your address and phone number are correct. If you’re in EXO-L Japan, your tickets will be mailed to your house!
Step 2. Check the time.
You should have received and email from your fanclub telling you when the lottery opens up. For me, it opens up on 9/22 at 3pm. Look for the words “ファンクラブチケット (Fanclub ticket)”, “先行予約 (Pre-order)” or “お知らせ (information)”.

The “EXO PLANET #4″ fanclub ticket pre-order lottery will begin today (9/22) at 15:00! Don’t miss this chance! ♪
Most times and dates will be written in the MM/DD format, so 9/22 means September 22nd. And times will be done military style, as you can see here it says 15:00 instead of 3:00pm.
Step 3. Go to the special website.
If you scroll to the bottom of the email you will see a link where you can pre-order tickets. Click that link to head to the lottery page.
Enter your ID and your password. For EXO-L Japan members this is a 6 digit number.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button on the right that says “確認する”.
You will then be prompted to enter your email address on this page. After entering your email address, check the box below that says “利用規約に同意します (Accept terms and conditions). Then press “メール送信”.
If the email was sent successfully you will arrive that this page. Exit out of this window/tab and go check your email.
You should see this email in your inbox. If you don’t, check your spam filter and make sure emails from y-tickets.jp are NOT blocked. In the email there will be an URL, click on that and move to the next step.
Step 4. Enter the lottery.
You will be prompted to re-enter your password. Make sure the ID displayed is your ID (I blocked out my ID, but you will see yours). Enter your password.
Just like before, scroll down the page and press “確認する” to move onto the next step.
The next page will display some general information about the concert you’re applying for. For me, I’m applying for EXO PLANET #4.
When you scroll down you will see the sheet to apply. First look on the left side bar and you will see a list of the concerts as well as some details about the lottery; “受付期間 (Lottery period)” and “当落確認・支払期間 (Results and payment period)”. You will only be allowed to apply and pay for any tickets you win within those time periods!
So you can apply for multiple concert days, which is why you will see headings like “第１希望” or “第２希望”. I’m applying for 2 concert dates so I will fill out the form under “第１希望” and “第２希望”.
You should already know which concerts you want to go to. Don’t worry about reading the Japanese, just make sure the dates are right. Remember the dates are displayed as YYY/MM/DD so for me Saitama Super Arena is on 2017/1/27.
Once you click on the little circle for the concert you wanna apply for you will be prompted to choose what type of ticket you want. For EXO, all tickets are seating tickets so there’s only one option. On the right side you will be able to choose the amount of tickets you want to apply for. I’m applying for 3. If you only want to apply for one concert, you can leave the “希望しない” boxes checked under the rest of the “第 # 希望” headings and skip the *optional* part of the tutorial.
*optional* If you wish to apply for multiple concerts, press “選択する” under the words “第２希望” to apply for a second concert date. Do this for as many concerts as you’d like to apply for. Press “確認する” to move on.
Step 4. Choose a delivery and payment method.
You will then be asked to choose a method to receive the tickets. For me, there’s only one option because my ticket is a physical ticket, “配送 (delivery)”
Scroll down and you will come a payment method. For me I have “セブン・イレブン (7/11)” or “Pay-easy”. Pay-Easy can only be done at ATMs and with a Japanese bank account, so for this tutorial I’m going to choose 7/11. Click the box next to the words “セブン・イレブン (7/11)”.
**Under the payment method you will see the words “その他手数料” which means “other fees”. There is a service fee of 500 yen PER ticket. Meaning if you bought 2 tickets the total service fee is 1000 yen and so on.
Next you will be asked for your phone number and cell phone. Don’t worry, they can be the same number! Just make sure it’s a valid Japanese number. Avex probably won’t call you, but it’s good to have a valid number just in case there’s issues. You will also see some information here already filled out such as your name and birthday. I censored my information, but yours will be there when you apply.
And next you will be given some more terms and conditions. Check “同意して申込む” to accept the terms and then press “申込内容確認へ (go to the application confirmation page)”.
Step 5. Confirm your application.
Lastly you will be brought to a page to confirm your application. I won’t put screenshots for the whole confirmation page because it’s pretty straight forward.
If the information is correct, keep scrolling. But if there’s a mistake you can press the “変更” button to make any changes (just repeat the earlier steps).
At the bottom you will see this break down for your ticket total. The number in red is the total amount you will pay. For me, I’m buying 5 tickets so it’s a total of 58,432 yen. No payment is due right now, this is just the total cost for the tickets you are applying for, if you don’t get tickets, you don’t pay.
Lastly once you get to the bottom of the page you will see this button again that says “同意して申込む”. Press that to confirm.
AND YOU’RE DONE! Hope you win your tickets!~ You will get an email during the “results and payment” period telling you whether or not you got tickets. And don’t worry if you don’t get tickets, most concerts have multiple lotteries so you have many chances!
Getting results
Once you have entered the lottery you will get the results about 2 weeks later. Make sure to check the dates for the “当落確認・支払期間 (Results and payment period)”. This period will typically be very short, as little as 2 days!
Losing
If you lose you will receive an email like this:
残念ながらチケットのご用意ができませんでした。
Unfortunately we cannot issue you tickets at this time.
Look for the words “残念ながら (unfortunately)” or “ご用意ができませんでした (cannot issue/could not issue)”. This means that you have failed the lottery and cannot purchase the tickets. You do not have to do anything else.
Winning
If you win you will receive an email like this:
ご当選となりましたのでお知らせいたします。
We are here to tell you that you have been selected as a winner.
After this you can scroll down until you see the words “支払方法 (payment method)”. This is where the information for how you will pay will be displayed. Remember you chose this method when you entered the lottery. If you chose to pay by 7/11 you will have a “払込票番号 (payment transfer number)”. Or if there is another way you chose to pay information will be shown there.

Week 2 of current regimen!

Sept. 26
I woke up around 11AM today.
After a bit of time on Tumblr, I started on today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 balance side lunges with EC (20/20). This was just okay.
(After getting nudged into playing contract rummy with grandma and dad; dad won both games...)
Second, Day 7 of the ICC. 3x1′30″ butt kicks, 30″ rest. I basically went at a jogging pace. Did get notably winded, nevertheless. Dressed better for it, so it was a bit more fun than last round.
Last, Day 7 of the 30MDoY. A lot of squatting, this time. The wind legged holds weren’t the most deep. But I did my best. Moves 1-3, 5, 9, & 12 were nice recovery poses. Another WO = completed!
I then spent some time making today’s Hello Fresh Meal. Black bean & poblano flautas. It was alright. I feel like pan-frying the pieces is tastier but more finicky to bring together than enchiladas. It was just okay~
Most of the rest of the day was spent chatting and whatnot.
Somehow got to bed in the yellow zone... I guess I was just that tired.

Sept. 27
I woke up around the same time as yesterday.
First, today’s DD. 2′ chest expansions with EC. I counted 128 reps by the end.
Second, Day 8 of the ICC. 3x10 calf raises, done in one go. Still fairly breezy to do that way for me.
Last, Day 8 of the 30MDoY. #2 was probably the most challenging - but I’m happy I was able to keep my balance. I just let my legs rest on floor during the upward dogs again, today. Everything else was very chill and enjoyable.
Much of the rest of the day was spent chatting and watching Repo!
Got to bed barely into the red zone.

Been waking up at a consistent time lately for some reason?
Anyways, one of the first things I did today was some of my exercise.
First, today’s DD. 80 side leg raises with EC (40/40). Pretty breezy DD, not much else to say.
Second, Day 9 of the ICC. 3x1′30″ butt kicks, 30″ rest. Again, jogging pace. Still fairly winding, but doable.
(After making dinner, doing dishes, and figuring what was incessantly beeping in my room...)
Last, Day 9 of the 30MDoY. 20′ meditation again. Both legs fell asleep and there were a few moments where I think I nearly nodded off. Mind wandered a bit, tried to stay focused on the usual. Happy about fixing the beeping issue so that was more manageable (and less likely to have me stewing on it).
Spent a good chunk of the rest of my day poking the fic some more and chatting... got to bed barely in the red zone.

Sept. 29
I woke up a bit after 11AM again.
One of the first things I got done was today’s exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 plank rotations with EC. Manageable, if a bit on the sloppy side today.
Second, Day 10 of the ICC. 3x10 calf raises, done in one go. Not much to really say here, still.
Last, Day 10 of the 30MDoY. Only real mod I made in this sequence is letting myself rest for the upward dogs. This was a fun one to complete, though!
Had some grumpiness about family stuff, but I still made dinner, took a shower, and finally got around to cutting my hair again.
Spent rest of night chatting and playing a writing game to chill out.
Got to bed in the yellow zone.

Sept. 30
I woke up after 9AM.
Went to a dental appointment to get a filling done. (Still feels dodgy to chew on that side as of posting...)
One of the first things I did when I got back home was start on exercise.
First, today’s DD. 40 split lunges with EC (20/20). Just about manageable.
Second, Day 11 of the ICC. 3x1′30″ butt kicks, 30″ rest. Got fairly winded, but kept that jogging pace. I was pretty tired at that point, though.
Last, Day 11 of the 30MDoY. #2 & 4 were the hard parts of the sequence. Started with the weaker side for balance - and had to spend nearly 10″ to set up for 2/4 of those (Warrior III for left leg, tree for right leg). Chair pose was pretty physically intense, W3 was that plus challenging to maintain balance for full minute on top!
Spent some time editing a version of Scary!Remus for this October. Spent rest of day chatting and watching YouTube.
Got to bed really late.

Oct. 1
I woke up around noon, today.
After a chatting a bit, I started on today’s exercise early.
First, today’s DD. 50 squats with EC. Very doable.
Second, Day 12 of the ICC. 3x10 calf raises, done in one go. Given full stomach and energy levels, just happy that it was a breezy part of the docket.
Last, Day 12 of the 30MDoY. 25′ meditation. Reclined against bed for the first 5′, pulled upright for remaining duration. Mind wandered a bunch, but that’s okay. Physically a very restful thing and mentally fairly calming.
Spent a good amount of time drawing/streaming Galateid!Roman, chatting, and listening to music.
Got to bed pretty much same time as yesterday.

Oct. 2
I work up around 11AM.
One of the first things I did was fill out my ballot.
After that, since active rest day, all the designated exercise I did was the today’s DD. 1′ raised leg hold with EC (supine). Just some deep breathing and I could manage.
Spent some time to update some logs (was a bit behind on it), doing sishes and making today’s Hello Fresh Meal. Kickin’ BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches. It went over pretty well. I also liked that this one was a simpler recipe to make. Definitely worth a reprisal.
After some more dishes, [annoying-to-mixed] family talk, chatting, and working on my stream set-up, I got to work on finishing that Galateid!Roman picture.
Stayed up pretty late to do that, and had no business staying up as long as I did afterwards... but I’ll count that I was still in bed before dawn broke... low as hell bar, I know. orz

PH to welcome Japanese navy anew
MANILA – The Philippine Navy (PN) will welcome another Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer in the country.
Commander Jonathan Zata, Navy spokesperson, said Murasame-class JS Akebono (DD-108), with its two SH-60K patrol helicopters and 200 officers and enlisted personnel, will be arriving at Pier 13, Manila South Harbor at around 8 a.m. of Sept. 27 for a three-day port visit.
"The Japanese delegation is headed by the commander of JMSDF’s Escort Division 5, Capt. Josuke Nakamura. DD-108 has about 200 officers and crew onboard and two embarked SH-60K patrol helicopters," he added.
The Navy will render a customary welcome ceremony upon arrival of the vessel.
Earlier this month, JMSDF Escort Flotilla 4 docked at Alava Wharf, SBMA, Olongapo City, Zambales for a goodwill visit on Sept. 1-5.
The visiting Japanese ships are the helicopter carrier JS Kaga (DDH-184) with five embarked SH-60K patrol helicopters, an Akizuki-class destroyer JS Suzutsuki (DD-117), and a Murasame-class destroyer JS Inazuma (DD-105).
Around 850 officers and crew compose the visiting Japanese delegation headed by flotilla commander, Rear Admiral Tatsuya Fukuda, Capt. Hideki Mizuta of JS Kaga, Cmdr. Yuki Ochimizu, of JS Inazuma and, and Cmdr. Takeo Kinuyama, commanding JS Suzutsuki. (PNA)
