The Lamley Blog is undergoing a bit of a makeover content-wise. For awhile now it has needed more content and a better variety of brands covered. Over the next while you will see all of that develop, and I could not be more excited. The Lamley Group will truly be a Group on the blog, and it starts with a most welcome addition. @davidjtilley, the “ley” in Lamley will now do a regular #matchboxmonday feature on the blog, starting tomorrow. @wheelcollectors will be providing him the new models he can’t get in the UK for new model showcases, but DT will also be diving into his MBX collection, one of the most complete in the world. I’m truly giddy about this. - #Repost @davidjtilley with @get_repost ・・・ & then there are some things that will change. See my last post for context with that remark. Starting this Monday I will be actually earning my keep (just a little bit) on the @thelamleygroup blog. With the help of @wheelcollectors for much of the latest stuff I will attempt to add something to the blog each Monday as part of the Matchbox Monday segment. Whether it be a bunch of pictures of new batches of items (but beware they are from USA & I am in the UK so it may take a few weeks from their initial arrival for me to get the post done), or during quieter times just adding something from the archives from any era (Lesney Superfast onwards though as I don't do pre-1969/1970 regular wheels). So hopefully I will be able to keep anybody who likes Matchbox happy there every week. I'm looking forward to this new little challenge. First up will be a little look at the latest Superfast batch which has arrived now. Included will be this model, the MB1146 '80 #datsun280zx which sees it's second outing in the Superfast series for 2020 after debuting in 2019 in the Moving Parts range.
