This Vodou Inspired Gede Tribal Goddess Altar Bottle Doll was created using a recycled glass bottle, rhinestones, polymer clay charm, willow branches, polymer clay doll head, acrylic paints, block of wood and mod podge

To make this doll I attached a polymer clay  head I created onto a glass bottle using a papier mache method.  Once dry I painted the African Adinkra symbol for  Abundance. Rhinestones were attached to highlight the symbols . Her arms are made from willow branches that I attached onto the bottle with a papier mache technique.  After the arms dried I painted them with a rainbow pattern of metallic nail enamels.  I then attached rhinestones to create a magickal vision.  This doll was mounted on to a wood block and the wood black was painted with acrylic paints and covered with rhinestones.  Her purple dreadlocks were created using a combination of polymer clay and papier mache.  After drying her dreadlocks I applied to coats of metallic blue nail enamel .  Because I left her out in the sun the color of the hair changed from an electric blue to purple.  

This doll is sacred and special and is not kids toy.  You can display on your altar when tuning into the energies of abundance.
