Marked for Death as a team is so funny because here are three down-to-earth fighters from different walks of life with their heavy weapons and armor and lifetime of physical combat... then there is Alhazred. I dont know whether this is about three jocks adopting a nerd or a college professor with three students that are basically his security detail.

M4D class
Alhazred decides to offer a discipline about classic sources of military history because it so happens he went through a lot of them in his latest project.
Sometimes there is a student questioning whether a wound or procedure could have been real and Missandei goes "I did that once and we didn't even have booze to knock the guy out" and "Oh yeah if you do that your stomach will more or less explode". Everyone else wants her to stop giving details but Alhazred is fascinated.
William will often start a tangent about politics and by god he has a LOT of opinions. Yes, William, it could be argued that this stanza is an indictment of corruption that has strong parallels to our times but please the deparment will try to kill me if you keep this up.
Tardif is mostly quiet, except to snort derisively at other people's questions. But he enjoys the class so the time someone makes the mistake of trying to get Alhazred kicked out he makes a wanted poster and pins it to the halls to get his point across.
When they are out of college grounds, sometimes they play "get down Mr President" with Alhazred. He never sees it coming.
