A couple takeaways from the latest live …
Loved the running and jumping hug.
They spent New Years Eve together, however Gabe was there too so take with that as you wish.
Daniel looked a little jealous when he thought Britt was saying she felt sorry/bad for Alan.
Overall it was cute and great to see them together and can’t wait for more and really hope they keep their promise of doing multiple these next couple weeks. However if I’m being honest it felt a smidge off, like they didn’t quite know how to act around each other and the camera. Not in “oh no there isn’t any chemistry after all!” More so “we don’t want to make it apparent something is happening so let’s back off.” And backed off too much.
But as always who knows LOL.

So I was snubbing on a certain person’s page who may or may not be dating a certain professional dancer on a reality program and I saw this. Maybe I’m old fashioned but posting and saving stories about checking girls out if dating someone feels wrong and icky. I’m hoping this is further proof they broke up or they haven’t and he is icky and she breaks it off for the ickiness.
In all seriousness I know nothing about the guy and if the relationship ended between them I hope it was a peaceful separation for them both.

This might sound really crazy and I don’t think there are many Daniel & Britt shippers here, that’s more of a Reddit thing, but sometimes the anti shippers or even the people who overreact to the discussions get to be a bit much (sorry not sorry) and I frankly don’t feel like dealing with them so I decided to post this here, though the potential audience reached will be smaller. Okay with that out of the way …
I feel weird about the idea of writing fan fiction for them. I certainly have thought of plenty of ideas (as I have mentioned previously) and I don’t have an issue with real life fan fiction (also as I have discussed before) so you’d think be all over these two like butter on corn on the cob, but I can’t do it.
I think the reason unlike other real life ships I have had I’m so convinced they are an actual couple and anything I write as potential of playing out for real that almost feel like a premonition type of a situation could occur.
With that said I have so many theories of their relationship past, current, and future. Including what I think they’d name a daughter but I just don’t want to publicly say because of the reason mentioned above. So it’ll stay in my head..unless anyone wants to message me LOL.
And yes I do realize there is a chance they are not a couple…just let me have my fun. 😉

I swear when it comes to Daniel and Britt and their interactions half the time she likes/has a crush on him and he’s neutral and the other half time it’s the opposite. Though if I’m to be completely honest I think Britt does like Daniel, like heads over heels, full blown crush, while he’s a bit more cautious or hasn’t quite reached that level.

I love how Daniel and Britt act like they don’t know when they’ll see each other or spend time together when the season is over while giving each other little smiles and weird eye connections, and then ten minutes later they’re listing complex ideas and plans they want to do together. Yeah that’s not suspicious…LOL.

So I have written real people fics ...
of those underage
of those in established relationships
It really doesn't bother me because though real people they become far more fictional and inspirational to my muse.
But for some reason despite having several ideas and the writing bug which has been still for a long ass time is starting to move a bit; I find myself scared to write for Daniel and Britt.
Why?!
As stated above I have written rp fics before where I knew for a fact one of them was dating someone else and it didn't make me feel weird or wrong.
I don't know maybe it's because it feels as I discussed before the DWTS fandom isn't into fics anymore? Like if no one else is doing it why bother? Perhaps someone is just waiting for someone else to go first?
I have ideas, developing plot bunnies involving these various circumstances...
Both Britt and Daniel are single
She is with someone and it's a friendly breakup
She is with someone and it's a messy breakup
Where they get together during the season
Where they get together after the season
I just wish I had the courage to do it. Or for someone to tell me to do it via my ask box.
As always as a reminder...I never share my rp fics with the real people involved in it, I don't think these stories and pictures should be shared to them, if they find on their own that's fine...(though uncomfortable) it's when they are linked to things directly I don't like.

Well .... Daniel follows the guy Britt is rumored to be with, long with him following Daniel. And though she's not as frequent with her likes, she did have one May of this year. So unfortunately I think they are still together. I feel a bit guilty for saying unfortunately, but damnit Daniel and Britt are cute together LOL.

I didn’t watch their season but I know a few times that Britt and Johnny addressed and made fun of the rumors that they were dating. So, she’ll acknowledge and discuss that when it was undoubtedly obvious they weren’t together, but when there are rumors circulating of her and Daniel she is silent. I get that they don’t have to tell world anything, need it be something going on or that there is nothing happening…just I don’t know it seems odd the laughable one that acknowledging felt like a joke she discussed (or had Johnny do so) yet the one where there is a chance it’s radio silence.

Okay I am not gonna to hide it anymore (though I've dropped hints on Reddit) that I ship Daniel and Britt. They are absolutely adorable together. The smiles. The touches. The sparkles. The constant praising of each other. Etc.
I love how quickly she has been willing to learn ASL and try to understand his world better.
It seems to me that perhaps Britt had a bit of a crush on him before the show started. She absolutely loves the movie Coda and made it clear she was a fan/impressed by Daniel.
One thing that really made "ok now THAT'S suspicious!" Is they did a brief Q & A only responded to three questions from what had to be a hundreds because they had asked for questions previously and these were the ones selected. The very first one she asks was "is Daniel hot?" I mean really?! I don't know it seemed interesting or has I said suspicious...
Someone said that Britt has a boyfriend, but keeps the relationship private. I did some googling and far as I can tell they broke up. However the sources weren't the best because people are right she is very private person. Still it seems to me perhaps it is true that she is currently single. And I'm not just saying that because I want it be true LOL.
I understand that some will say things like "it's nothing romantic, she's just a good teacher!" "god stop shipping everything! it's gross!" Yes, Britt is a good teacher and I'm sad I missed her with her with other partners, but I've seen this show enough seasons to pick up when it slightly goes beyond a teacher and student relationship. Far as the second as I said in a previous post (and pretty sure other times) me shipping them (or anyone) isn't hurting you, don't like it don't read my posts.
It's a bit frustrating I can't find a whole lot (barely any) of fans of support them as potentially more then just partners, but I know a few exist and likely more who are nervous or unwilling to publicly say anything for a various of reasons. So if you ship them and know of good places to look for like minded fans let me know!
And if it turns out this 100% in my head I still love the relationship and will continue to even platonically between them.

I understand a lot of people roll their eyes at it and it doesn't seem as common place (at least not places I frequent) but god damn it I enjoy having ships! Especially real life ships on DWTS, even the where they are edited and have manipulative practice by either production or someone (if not both) in the couple. And yes some are completely imagined by fans. Despite all that I enjoy it. I find it fun. Unless the pushing angle is too forced then it's off putting. Me enjoying it doesn't hurt anyone. I'm never one to tweet, @, message, etc those involved... it's something that gives me joy and when the season is over (or the couples run is through) I move on. Unless the couple ends up being real. Shout-out to my Sharkaroo supporters!
Granted I missed a season or two (... more?) But I think part of the reason shipping on the DWTS front dried up is so many of the pros are now married LOL. Yes, I know for some that doesn't stop them from shipping, to each their own I guess. And of course if the celebrity is in a relationship that too effects it.
With all said on this current season there is a couple I so badly want to ship and I've tried to find little hints of maybe others do as well. However I'm not getting a whole lot. Makes me think I'm either right and the days of the DWTS shipping is over or I'm crazy when I see chemistry between them.
Hell, I can't even get a clear answer on the sexual orientation of one involved. Google searches say what it is, however the "sources" are iffy or have no source period.
Not gonna say who it is, though they aren't many possibilities of what team it could be...
