She was in the middle of Mediterranean. She had her feet outstretched in front of her, a martini in hand, and Adam by her side. Everything was perfect. She leaned in, lips meeting Adam's for a quick kiss. She smiled against his mouth. Life was good. Oh, OH.. was that a tongue? She pulled back ready to chastise him, because that was for the bedroom not some Mediterranean cruise, in front of Daniel Craig... wait a second. That wasn't Adam's tongue..

She woke up to THIS and screamed!

Breathless, her hands stretched out to either side, she observed as her morning horror show sauntered back out of the bedroom, on the hunt for more Prada bags to remodel. Perhaps you once thought that gold shoulder strap was a necessity, but you were mistaken. Exhaling in defeat, she grasped her laptop and placed it on her lap. She had research to resume.

The blonde might've been in the midst of a separation, but Cecelia Hathaway was at stage five denial. She wasn't going to cry, beg, or bargain her way back into her husband's life, because to her.. she was still very much inside of it. Which is why she'd decided to call Adam's favourite charity, Great Ormond Street Children's hospital, to organise a donation. What of? Art, of course.

Her eyes settled on the piece that she had her heart set on. Was it to her usual taste? Oh, Christ, no. But this wasn't about her. This was about children. Children who were hurt and sick and wanted nothing more that to look up at their blank clinical walls and instead see a delightful Teddy Bear. Yes, this was definitely the one.

How delightfully, whimsy he was. She stood in front of the painting that she'd finally selected, noting down its number and placement in the upcoming auction. The price wasn't much of an issue, as she intended it to be a tax write-off, but it remained reasonable nonetheless. As she glanced around, her eyes appreciatively taking in the others who shared her passion for art on this weekend outing, her gaze suddenly fell upon him. What the hell was he doing here? She didn't take him as man who appreciated antiquities. She barely took him as man. More so a troglodyte. "Do you realize this is an art auction, not a date auction, right? I don't think they're holding another one of those until next year."

Navigating around him, she couldn't help but feel exasperated; he seemed to be occupying an excessive amount of space. She still had other pieces to peruse before the auction commenced—oh, well, too late now. Making her way over to the chairs, she noticed them beginning to fill up around her. And quite quickly too. If she wasn't careful she was going to-- Oh, thank god. At least there was one seat between them both. Sitting down, Cece cast her head forward, waiting for her prized picture to make its appearance.

"And now, we have lot number two.." They always presented the least valuable ones first. "We're asking for opening bids of $1000 pounds." She grabbed up her paddle, placing it high in the air, "$1000 pounds, here." That picture was hers.

Okay so I am officially moving The Grand Budapest is now in my top movies list because:

One: Wes Anderson is a genius who always makes my laugh through his films.

Two:Jude Law telling us a story about being told a story of Ralph Fiennes getting punched in the face by William Defoe for being such a hoe sleeping with Andrien Brodys mum Tilda Swinton while Jeff Goldblum reads her will. Then being aided and embedded by Bill Murray while Ed Norton who previously hunted him down in Red Dragon tries to catch him?

Oh and some how Lea Seydoux who he would know through Daniel Craig in the Bond movies is in there too?!

Hello there!

It's a little bit of both.

I love the Mission Impossible movies (except #2. #2 is garbage) and the Daniel Craig James Bond movies, I've watched them a lotta times and I've drawn a lotta inspiration from them.

There's a actually a couple scenes, one from Quantum of Solace and the other from Rogue Nation, that I drew direct inspiration for Trigger Finger in order to get the right feel for the museum...

Generally, #references is something I'm drawing inspo from. I've never actually seen the Punisher series...but the gifs gave me a vibe that I wanted to remember, same with gifs from CACW. And since I have the memory of a goldfish with amnesia, I had to reblog it.

I don't actually watch a lotta TV series, I dunno why but I don't have the patience for them...which is weird. But I've got a lotta fave movies (a lotta which I draw inspo from) including:

The John Wick trilogy

the fight scene choreography is ah-ma-zing and I love and appreciate the amount of work Keanu Reeves put into making it feel real, with accurate reloads and consequences

Another thing I love about John Wick is the notoriety he already has as we enter his world. You mentioned his name to another character and they know who they're dealing with. (Ghost inspo anyone?)

Atomic Blonde

a lot of Boone inspiration actually came from Charlize Theron. Tall, kicks ass, uses of disguises, changing accents...etc

Mission: Impossible

Honestly, not a huge Tom Cruise fan...but I love Ethan Hunt and the dynamic of the team in the later movies. Big Duke inspo and, in the later movies, Boone inspo with Ilsa Faust. Like I said, not a big fan of #2 bit I love the rest of them.

James Bond

I have seen every single James Bond movie from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig and Daniel Craig is my fave Bond.

There's a more cohesive story that latest Bond films bring in comparison to the early Bonds and they make him more of a complex character than we see in the early movies and I love it.

Hobbs & Shaw

Big inspo for The Soldier and The Spy, especially in the form of Boone and Duke's early relationship.

GI Joe

Listen, I know it's not everybody's fave iteration of GI Joe but I still love it. Duke Hauser is obvs a big inspo for Duke. Snake Eyes' suit is big inspo for Ghost's suit. The Pit is big inspo for the Olympus Base. Big inspo all around.

The Big Sleep, Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon

Anything with Bogie and Bacall, I am here for. No inspiration here, just something to help me relax if I'm having a bad day.

Finally, the biggest inspiration of them all and one of my favorite movies:

The A-Team

The movie that started it all, along with CATWS and CACW. I love the team dynamic and how they work together when they actually have a plan. The humor, the overall badassery... everything. I love it. Alpha 1 is directly inspired from this team, Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith is who I see as Weston.

Movie Review : Mission Impossible FALLOUT

RATING 8.5/10

Summary:-

The sixth in the series, Ethan Hunt’s back in action with his IMF team who join August Walker, a reputed assassin under the CIA, to stop John Lark a massive arms dealer who leads a terrorist group called ‘Apostles’ aiming to carry out a nuclear attack across Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca, and Saudi Arabia.

Reasons to watch it:-

There are sooo many parts and all are pretty much the same, so why watch?

Action sequence is pretty great.

Hero’s emotional roller-coaster is out in the open!

Gives purpose and meaning to all the previous Mission Impossible series.

I have arrived~

Movie – Good or Bad?

Okay so, I have dissed on this movie a bit in the past tbh. It’s not because I hate it, in fact I’m an action addict. It’s the childhood bonding sesh with my Dad lol. Give me a spy movie and I’m living life! But I found myself losing interest in the franchise. It felt like one of those movies that do extremely well when released but instead of bringing it to a well deserved ending the creators choose to extend it as much as they can, be it fillers or a long story-line, primarily for commercial reasons. That just puts me off because this trend is very repetitive and in most cases every part released feels like the same story as its predecessor.

It tends to be a drag but being a sucker for - fast cars, crazy tech, and awesome self defense fighting moves... I gave it a go. So I knew I was going to watch this movie, what I didn’t know was that I’ll be watching this on the big screen.

Which btw, no regrets!

The sound effects and action sequences were well shot. It reminded me of the James Bond movie - Skyfall where Daniel Craig’s character is given a past to explore alongside people who he can truly depend upon with his life and trust. Similarly, Ethan has his gang who he can ride or die for while they had his back at all times.

He’s also got to put his leadership aside as he’s made to work with the guys from the CIA, they can not trust Ethan and his MI associates since it is an extensive and vital mission surrounding nuclear bombs.

Putting his pride aside, Ethan puts out his best front and teams with CIA for the mission, little does he know the depths of what demands he will be facing with our story’s villain - The White Widow and the well-hidden terrorist ring leader John Lark.

Can they stop them on time or must they watch everything burn?

Reason for My Reaction -

Story - Apart from his impossible mission and his chemistry with his work buds, the focus is brought back to the one special girl in his life, remember the estranged wife?

Dialogues - As every action movie goes, most were pretty predictable but the humor among Ethan’s friends brought life to his character as well as made the movie quite enjoyable.

Acting - The movie would not hold a huge reputation if it weren’t for the amazing stunts and cast. I would go as far as to say that even if it were to have poor writing the cast can pull it off to a big success.

Direction - Personally, a good directing makes an action movie, the specifics behind the zooms, the movement, the flow, the suspense, the punchline pauses, the villain, and more are all a combined recipe for DAYUMM, NOW THAT’S A SPY MOVIE. It definitely had the audience hooked.

Is it worth watching?

Maybe it was the big screen and the sound effects that brought on this positive review, there’s one thing I can agree on is that it was better than Ghost Protocol.

Should you watch it? YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME ON THAT?!??! Just kidding lol, yes go watch it!

the only thing that made him happier than nora agreeing to marry him was when their boys graced their lives.

and that’s when the nuts and bolts of their strength together, started to rattle loose. he didn’t understand the change. yes, he wanted to protect them. but he didn’t want to keep them blind. yes, he knew the risk, the danger involved, but with two hardened hunters that risk was lesser and surely it was a greater risk to leave them unaware of the true evils that lurked in the shadows. he wasn’t training them to put them in the path of evil. he was training them because that evil existed - whether they knew it or not. and stepping out of the battle didn’t mean there wasn’t still a war.
