ok but in all seriousness i dont really have many expectations for the community movie (apart from no jeffannie plsss... please... pleass) but the one thing i do hope they do is make troy and abeds reunion as emotional as it deserves to be, like they HAVE to do it justice, not even romantically. they havent seen eachother in YEARS. abeds best friend got on a boat with levar burton and abed thought that he would NEVER COME BACK 😭 LIKE WTF THEY BETTER NOT SKIMP OUT ON THIS REUNION

and if you kick every gay neurodivergent person out of this country then who will be watching your show, DAN HARMON ?

i wish i was joking but the existence of the community movie has instilled an anxiety in me that cannot be assuaged whatsoever until it comes out and i find out it's good and gives me everything i want it literally burns my chest to realize that this is the last time we will see any of the characters and this is supposed to resolve their characters and plots it makes me sick what if troy and abed are not married i cannot handle this anticipation oh my fucking god

Dan Harmon was like. "i'm gonna make a show that is so funny and emotionally devastating. and i understand none of the characters." and then he did it

Every single imaginary timeline in remedial chaos theory depicts Abed being berated for talking about the existence of alternate timelines. The only one where he isn’t is the prime timeline. Even before virtual systems analysis there was some heavy handed implication that Abeds ability to anticipate people’s behavior has the one glaring bias that Abed always assumes his own behavior will not be tolerated, respected, or admired in the long term. I know he is fictional but oh my god I want to hug him

it will never not be "funny" and incredibly concerning to me that Dan Harmon thinks the way he un-developed Britta was actually. like. good. like he says she was like a mannequin in the early seasons on one interview and I'm just thinking. dude. did you watch ur own show

not only way her character incredibly diluted, removing any sense of morals to just say she believes in whatever cause the writers want to call absurd, she was also just completely made into a joke character. its genuinely frustrating to watch. but ofc dan thinks that's a good thing

it's so insane when you think about how annie wanted her brother to move in bc troy was like her brother and abed wanted his GIRLFRIEND to move in bc troy has been filling that role in for him for literal YEARS

Something I always thought would be funny in a gender-bend scenario for Community:

Lady Abed (Abra?) having a comically large, seemingly infinite, collection of hijabs for any occasion. ANY occasion. Like nearly on parr with the deans ability to dress for any occasion. And she practically pulls them out of thin air.

Lady-Jeff (Jess?): *to Abra* “Do you just pull those out of your sleeve like an endless-handkerchief trick?”

The funniest one to think about is if she just has layers of them on-

Some douche (probably lady-pierce): *pulls off her hijab*

Abra: *unfazed, is wearing a white-with-red-hearts hijab underneath that matches the classic heart-undwear-trope*

Or she just dramatically tears off one layer to reveal another.

She also definitely uses them and styles them like hair when she “cosplays” too (it’s never referred to as cosplay in the show but that’s essentially what Troy and Abed do)

sometimes i have to remind myself that the community movie isnt going to be an angsty trobed fanfiction featuring abeds abandonment issues and troys trauma from the pirates, with just ten minutes of them making out sloppy style on the study room table
