synopsis: being uhtreds youngest daughter and being best friends with aethelstan and cynlaef.

note: These are just some headcanons for a Wattpad fic I have for my OC (Eisa ) Uhtred’s youngest daughter. I’m thinking of also publishing it here. Just let me know in the comments if you guys would like that. My requests are open!

☆ Eisa first met Aethelstan when they were children (8). He was extremely quiet and timid, and she was loud and mischievous. He found her quite intimidating, but that didn't stop her from trying to befriend the quiet boy.

☆ The two of them got closer when her dad took him in.

☆ Eisa and Aethelstan met cynlaef a few years later and the three of them immediately hit it off. Cynlaef was only a year older than the two.

☆ The three of them only got closer as time passed. They even had a reputation of always being up to no good when the three of them were together…which was always.

☆ Trouble always seemed to follow the three of them. And when they did get in trouble they were always sent to uhtred or finan, the two boys would send Eisa in first knowing that the two men couldn't stay mad at her for long.

☆ The three of them knew everything about each other. To the point that they knew what eachother was thinking, just by looking at each other. A talent that annoyed a lot of people.

☆ The three love to bother Young uhtred, they were always testing his patience.

☆ They also loved messing with Finan, especially when they were bored. The trio would act extremely nice to finan to the point that it gets suspicious, making him think that they did something. When the trio never did anything.

“Okay what are the three of ya shits up to?”

“Nothing uncle finan, Why?”

☆ The innocent smiles they would give Finan would make him groan in anger and leave, mumbling curses to himself. Leaving the trio to laugh and enjoy the ale he left behind.

☆ In all honesty the trio was finan’s nightmare and god did they love it. Finan had no way near enough patience for them.

☆ Eisa, Aethelstan and cynlaef were the designated babysitters for sihtric and sidgeflaed. Most of the time it wasn't too bad, the kids really liked the trio, but sometimes it got a little…chaotic. Aethelstan and cynlaef were in charge of the entertainment and Eisa was in charge of watching over them all. (Yes including Aethelstan and cynlaef)

☆ The trio was also in charge of walking anyone back home if they were too drunk, Well it was mostly Aethelstan and Eisa because somehow cynlaef would end up drunk too.

☆ When it was summer the trio was almost always found by the river; probably trying to push each other in. Eisa would even convince finan, sihtric osferth and Uhtred to join. And if they were lucky young uhtred would join.

☆ Annual and accidental sleepovers were big in the trio's friendship!

☆ Eisa would be sleeping peacefully in her bed, Aethelstan would be sleeping on a fur blanket in front of the fireplace in eisa’s room with a book at his side, Cynlaef would be hunched over at eisa’s desk or asleep next to Aethelstan.

☆ Eisa’s father uhtred many times would go check on her in the middle of the night only to find the two boys asleep on her floor.

☆ He definitely wasn't happy about it first but he slowly got over it…very slowly.

☆ The trio has so many inside jokes.They would be in a corner just laughing and talking about them and finan’ osferth and sihtric would just be watching them with a confused look, trying to understand what they are saying. (they don't)

☆ Eisa and cynlaef tease Aethelstan all the time for being a ‘good boy’. He always listens to uhtred and the others.

☆ Eisa and Aethelstan tease cynlaef all the time when he does stupid things or says stupid stuff. (I'm sorry he just gives off such himbo vibes?!?!)

☆ And Aethelstan and cynlaef like teasing Eisa about the small crush she had on sihtric when she was younger. It would usually ends with her embarrassed and shouting at the two and them running for their lives.

☆ There is just a lot of teasing in the friendship and it's all out of love ofc.

☆ The three of them love training together. Well more like Eisa loves training with them.

☆ When Eisa had an ax or sword in her hand it just made her 100% more intimidating, and she was really good with them too.

☆ So most of the time Eisa trained with sihtric while the two boys watched with wide eyes.

☆ Eisa liked to tease them saying that sihtric was the only one who could keep up with her anyway.

☆ Christmas/yule was the trio's favorite time of year. They would plan so many things.

☆ Snowball fights? Yes.

☆ Making snowman? yes.

☆ Throwing snow at Finan and young uhtred when they least expect it? Yes.

☆ Stealing warm ale from the ale house and drinking it in eisa’s room? Yes.

☆ They would spend months finding each other perfect gifts. Aethelstan always got Eisa the best gift, they were a lot more personal. (something that cynlaef teases him about when there alone)

☆ Sitting next to each other at the feast and messing with finan, Whenever finan would get distracted they would take his cup of ale and switch it with water, sometimes they even got sihtric involved. The trio would end up blaming it on osferth.

☆ Sitting next to the fire together and listening to Finan and Sihtrics horror stories.

☆ Uhtred puts the three of them on lookout duty as punishment whenever they get in trouble. Little does he know that they actually enjoy it. The trio could make any situation fun if they tried.

☆ They definitely get yelled at many times for being too loud or laughing at serious times, well mostly Eisa and Cynlaef…Aethelstan is too much of a good boy.

☆ There is so much trust in this friendship.

☆ Cynlaef and Aethelstan like to think that they are the ones protecting Eisa but in reality Eisa is the one protecting them.

☆ Eisa and Aethelstan helped teach cynlaef how to read.

☆ Cynlaef likes teaching Eisa more about the gods, Eisa loves listening and he talks a lot so it works out perfectly.

☆ Cynlaef is the first person Eisa and Aethelstan would go to if they needed uplifting.

☆ Even with his carefree spirit cynlaef could be intimidating if he needed to.

☆ Cynlaef is such a flirt! Eisa and aethelstan loved watching him make a fool of himself when he flirts with the woman at the ale house.

☆ Cynlaef used to playfully flirt with Eisa all the time and it never bothered her because she knew he was joking. But when cynlaef noticed that his flirting with Eisa was bothering Aethelstan he stopped. (Eisa ofc didn't know this)

☆ When it's just cynlaef and Aethelstan, Cynlaef loves to tease Aethelstan about Eisa all the time and how differently he acts around her.

☆ Aethelstan is extremely protective of the people he loves, he will do anything to keep them safe.

☆ Whenever Aethelstan is upset or angry Eisa can always find him training or at the dock, watching the water.

☆ Aethelstan hates being alone, it reminds him of his childhood where he had no one. Now that he has people, he doesn't want to leave them.

☆ Aethelstan often sneaks into eisa’s room at night whenever he gets nightmares.

☆ Aethelstan will have late night talks with eisa where he talks about the small memories he had of his mother, or things about his childhood he wouldn’t tell anyone else.

☆ Cynlaef and Eisa can tell when something is bothering Aethelstan because he becomes quieter than usual.

☆ Aethelstan loves reading to Eisa and cynlaef.

☆ Aethelstan is an observer, he likes watching the people around him.

☆ Eisa loves to draw, her room has many drawings everywhere, most of them being Aethelstan.

☆ The trio has their own special spot in the woods, they often go there when they have nowhere else to be. The boys can often find Eisa there sitting down and leaning against a tree drawing.

☆ Eisa has a fear of lightning and thunder so they always come over to stay with her so she's not alone.

☆ Whenever Eisa leaves to go visit Stiorra and Sigtryggr the boys just wander around, not knowing what to do now that she’s gone. The others notice a change in them and bring it up a few times.

☆ Finan thinks it's funny how they deny it but go back to pouting a few minutes later. The point is they miss eisa when she’s away for more than 2 days. They're kinda clingy.

☆ When she comes back from her visit, they demand to spend the day with her and if she can't they would go back to being pouty and huffy.

☆ Eisa’s favorite person is Sihtric. ( it doesn't really go along with the genre of headcanons, but i just had to say it)

☆ Going horseback riding and having races…the boys won’t admit it but Eisa wins most of the time.

☆ They get yelled at almost once a week for being late to their duties.

☆ Eisa having to get used to the fact that no boy will ever step close to her because of all the intimidating men she’s surrounded

☆ Late night conversations that would last for hours, talking about random things or more…emotional things. The three of them had been through a lot and they feel very comfortable talking to each other about it.

☆ Their friendship means a lot to them, and they will do anything for each other.
