Here’s what I did to overcome self doubt & develop confidence as a nurse: 💉Remind yourself how you got here: you studied hard, learnt skills, killed it at clinicals, passed NCLEX & got a job because of your hard work. Remind yourself of your past successes and know that you got this too! 💉Make progress each day & reward yourself: learn something new each day & when you perform a new skill you just learnt, appreciate yourself for it. It will help you build confidence in your learning skills & performance. 💉Become a sponge: Take in all the knowledge you can. Always show initiative to learn new skills. If you find out about an opportunity presenting at your workplace to learn something new, do not think twice before grabbing that chance.
