I took a mushroom lighter holder pattern and swam with it 😅
How to:
I used a 3.5 hook. The fish head is: ch6 make a circle, then 3dc per stitch, then 1sc, 1dc for the whole length. The fins r frontloop, 2hdc, 3Tc, 2hdc, then the next row I decreased at the fins/ skipped the stitch with the fin. For the last row I did front loops: slip+ ch1 all. to make it flair out.
The mouth is: start at any stitch, 6sc, next row: 2sc per stitch, next row: slipst all. Glue on googly eyes
Then for the pocket part I started at the tail like one of them leaf bookmarks. (Left a long tail before the slipknot. Use it later to sew tail on better.) then chain 5 make a little circle. Next row increase all. Next row increase every other. Turn it into a tube big enough to hold a Bic. Make it about 13 rows tall. Then at the end, do a slip+ch1 the whole frontloop edge. This makes the head kinda click onto it snugly. Then if u want it for a necklace make sure it's about lanyard length. 30in ish. Tie it onto the edge of the lighter part and bead the head on.
Still in the mood for making Tiny things, so here's a little goldfish. This was a bit of a challenging pattern to work out as it's all one piece, no separate bits or sewing at all.
We get a lot of interest in these 3 but never a sale of them. We sold our first wind spinner and that was first themed but never just solo fish. People pick up the manatee quite a bit to wiggle his tail but again, no sales. Save them from the plastic storage bag and give them a safe loving home, they have each other for company but being with you would be more fun 💕 - Made by M, posted by S

Head and tail end are stuffed w ultra plush fiber fill and the bulk of the body is packed full of weighted pellets that have a nice crunchy sound when you squeeze it. Not weighed yet, but it feels between 1.5 - 2lbs?
This little goldfish is available now on my Ko-Fi shop. If you want this one, specifically, it's first come, first served! If you want one in a different color, or even the same color, or a whole school of them, then you can commission me!

Fishy fish. Working on an intelligable pattern at the moment. Gotta minimise the fiddly-ness! One thing I'm learning is I seem to have a high tolerance for fiddling about, and when the pattern is no-sew there's a lot of that.
Not sure when I'll get this one done. Got a lung biopsy on monday and who knows how that will go lol.
