Several people have commented on a Carmila reference in the notes at the end of the first chapter of my Warrior Nun Bake Off AU, and I'm laughing so hard because we're all old enough to feel like this now:

i haven't seen First Kill (yet) and I generally am not super into crossover fics, but if someone has written a First Kill/Carmilla crossover, please send it my way

I just rewatched Carmilla the webseries (it's great, go watch it if you haven't!) and I just have some observations:

1. It came out 10 (!!) years ago, I feel hella old 😱

2. It's still hella good also! The exact right mix of humor, supernatural action, and "you are the axis on which my world turns" romantic drama that I never get tired off

3. I don't ship real people but if I would, I would totally ship Elise and Natasha - how much chemistry can two people have?!

4. I forgot how much happens off camera, but somehow it still works? That's A+ directing/screenwriting right there.
