BEST TIMES to take photos at the Acropolis 📸 - unusual tip 📌 As we mentioned in our previous post, due to the strict opening hours, the Acropolis is always crowded. 1st option: But if you enter the place among the first ones in the morning, there might be a chance to have beautiful photos with less people on it. 2nd option: We took our photos during the sunset, when the guards started to ask everyone to leave the place 🫠 So it was a huge rush to take the photos. We waited 2 hours for the golden hour, so we had to make the best out of it. You can imagine us running around, stopping at cool spots trying to take the last photos. We tried to take them before the last people reached our spot, so avoiding the guards shoo us away 😂. This photo was also taken this way. Did we do a good job? ✨ . . . Did you know about this “desert” in Hungary? 🏜 📍Fót Homokbánya, Hungary 🇭🇺 It is actually an abandoned sand mine in Fót. It takes less than an hour drive from Budapest 🚙. It is easily approachable. You can walk and explore the place freely. 🚶🏻‍♀️You can take off your shoes and walk bare feet in the sand. 👣 But we only advise to do so when you’re on the top. As you walk down hills, you might slip and injure your feet on small rocks. Budapesttől kb kevesebb, mint 1 óra az út 🚙. Könnyen megközelíthető a hely. Szabadon lehet sétálni és felfedezni a helyet. Mikor mi mentünk, csak egy esküvői fotózás volt ott, de mások nem nagyon ✨. Kellemes a homokban sétálni cipő nélkül, bár inkább csak akkor vegyétek le, ha már a domb tetején vagytok 👣. Fel-le a domb oldalán nem tanácsos nagyon sétálni lábbeli nélkül mert vannak azért kisebb-nagyobb kövek. Sőt volt valami kis szúrós növényke is, amire nem túl kellemes rálépni. Nekem még a ruhámba is beleakadt 1-2 😅. ✨SAVE THIS POST FOR LATER✨ TIPS before visiting the Trevi Fountain ⛲️ ⛲️Wake up early Get there before sunrise to avoid the crowd and to get the perfect photo ⛲️Collect money for your free icecream You may wonder “What the heck are they taking about?” Well, we’re talking about those free coins lying around the Trevi Fountain which were tossed during the day. As sometimes they close the stairs around the Trevi and no one get near the edge of the fountain, it’s hard to throw the coins into the water. And yes, they end up lying on the ground. If you visit the place at sunrise, you can collect some for icecream 😅. And use them to make a wish. ✨ ⛲️Use wide angle lenses Trevi Fountain is a huge monument, so if you want to get the whole fountain on your photo, you will need a wide angle lense. Although, if you just need the middle part of the fountain (but from top to bottom) like ours here, a phone camera is perfect too. Just make sure to take the photo at a really low angle. So make sure not to miss it when you come to this area of the island ✨You have to drive in a dirt road a bit when you get off the main road. You’ll see a parking area for the cars. ✨The cave is located underneath, near the end ✨As the cave in underneath the ground, you won’t see it from above.
