I have read this book, delighted to find out that it wasn't the same story about the girl who leaves the city and finds happiness in the country. Starry Night brings topics like heartbreak, forgiveness, and misunderstanding. It kept me turning pages, wondering who was telling the truth—until the end.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! In Germany Christmas is celebrated on the 25th and the 26th of December and we are keeping up this tradition in our house. So my husband and I are still in full Christmas mode. I haven’t shown you our Christmas tree this year, yet: So this is her! I am quite pleased how she turned out. I literally finished the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and I intend to enjoy her for a while. We will keep our Christmas tree up until January, the 6th, another German tradition that we stick to. I really love the festive look until New Years Eve and after that I slowly put the Christmas decorations away, little by little each day, the same way they went up. How about you?
