Next, we have the high priests of the lower sectors.

Barbotos was the easiest to piss off out of Leshy's entire court. He likes playing in the mud since the cult grounds are not as humid as Darkwood. Zepar washes the food and gets irritated whenever Barbatos gets anywhere near the prep station. Baalzebub mixes the medicine like no one else can. The only issue is when they try to experiment on any poor follower who enters the tent. Harus is the combat pro out of the followers. He's working hard to train those who are willing after he learned how to use his new hands.

Finally, the Bishop's Witnesses, the second in commands.

Agares does her best to stay light on her feet and be as flexible as possible. She is seen doing some sort of balancing act while watering the crops. Bathin makes sure everyone is well fed and WILL drag you from your work before you starve. Astaroth is the only one from Kallamar's court you don't need to worry about. They clean the linens and repair clothes. Allocer tracks who goes out on missionaries and gives them enough supplies for the long trips.

Me when I did what I do best and made a character line up of a bunch of CotL characters (specifically all the bosses in their follower forms).

I also made a bunch of self indulgent redesigns while I was at it. Idk how many of these will stick, I came up with most of these on the spot as I hadn’t drawn a lot of these guys before now. They might change a bit as I draw them more, who knows.

I’m drawing up the miniboss followers, so here’s the first set! The bushworms of Darkwood! Now off to Anura.

I think of the minibosseses as former priests of the bishops, once being super close with their old gods. But once they were defeated by the lamb and then taken in by them, their loyalty turns to their new god, who they will fight and die for. The witnesses are a little different, they were there when the bishops first gained power and pledged their loyalty, making them basically the second in command to the bishops. Now they’re the lamb’s.

Fun fact, Barbados thinks valefar is a spy in my game lmao.
