These are some things to know as Taylor Swift begins her three-day concert tour in Tampa on "Tay Tay Day." Beginning at 3 p.m., fans of "Swifties" can buy the coveted t-shirts, posters, and hoodies that are part of the official Eras tour. For those who have tickets or not, three merchandising trucks will be put up at three different gates at Raymond James Stadium to sell products from Swift's concert tour. For ticket holders, the Raymond James Stadium gates will open at 4 p.m., and the performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. For all three events, all available parking spaces at Raymond James Stadium have been reserved. Additional parking is available in the Hillsborough Community College lots accessible from Dale Mabry Highway or Lois Avenue, Al Lopez Park via Himes Avenue, and Jesuit High School via Martin Luther King Boulevard or Himes Avenue. Also, there is parking accessible at surrounding lots. Such parking spaces usually cost $20 to $60 in cash for Buccaneers games, but they can cost more during the concert. The drop-off location for concertgoers via a ride-sharing service is on Dale Mabry at Steinbrenner Field. The pedestrian bridge will be used by spectators to access the stadium. On Thursday, between Dale Mabry and Himes, Tampa Bay Boulevard will close at noon. It won't reopen until early on Sunday. Moreover, "Swifties" should be aware that Raymond James has a stringent no-bag rule. Bags must be no larger than six inches in diameter. Supporters are also permitted to bring signs, but they must not exceed 11 by 17 inches and cannot be on a stick. The least expensive night for fans without tickets to the event will be Thursday night, with tickets costing more than $400 each. The cost of tickets for the performance on Saturday exceeds $700. According to reports, the tickets also include a view obstruction. Swift visits Tampa for the first time since her previous tour in 2018, and it's the lone Florida stop on her Eras tour. 'On Tour in Drenthe' is een tweedaagse concerttour door het Veenkoloniaal Symfonie Orkest (VKSO) en het VKSO concertkoor o.l.v. dirigent Lubertus Leutscher dat zich afspeelt op cultuurhistorische locaties met een rijke geschiedenis. Op twee sfeervolle en in kerst gehulde monumentale kerken zullen allereerst op 9 december om 16:00 uur hout- en koperblazers uit het VKSO en het 56 koppig VKSO concertkoor o.l.v. dirigent Lubertus Leutscher aantreden. Zij zullen de liefhebber tot de laatste noot te laten genieten van de mooiste traditionele Christmas Carols en bekende melodieën uit de wereld van de klassieke muziek. M.m.v. organist Wim van de Laar en pianist Diego Dijkmans. Deze eerste dag van 'On Tour in Drenthe' zal plaatsvinden in de uit de 11e eeuw stammende Magnuskerk te Anloo dat is uitgerust met fraaie fresco's. Op het Stationsplein staat een scheepsbrug als repetitieruimte voor het Rotterdams Jongenskoor, 16 mei 1982.

Het Rotterdams Jongenskoor is een jongenskoor dat in 1957 is opgericht.

Voor het kerstspel van het Kralings Clubhuis werden enkele jongens bereid gevonden om kerstliederen te zingen. Dit sloeg zo aan dat Freek Velders, een van de leiders van het clubhuis, in januari met deze jongens verderging. Zo werd op 2 januari 1957 het Rotterdams Jongenskoor geboren. Het koor heeft als doel aan jongens van 5 tot 23 jaar een plezierige en avontuurlijke vrijetijdsbesteding en muzikale en culturele vorming te bieden. Het koor heeft wisselend succes.

Freek Velders bleef aan als muzikaal leider en initiator tot eind 1989. In deze periode groeide het jongenskoor uit tot een van 's wereld grootste jongenskoren. Er werden gemiddeld 50 concerten per jaar gegeven. Er werden concertreizen georganiseerd in Duitsland, Denemarken (1972, '74, '78, '82 en '86), Frankrijk, Oostenrijk (1973), Zwitserland (1984) en Engeland (1970).

Het koor beschikte van 1981 tot medio 1999 over een oefenruimte die voor het Centraal Station te Rotterdam stond. Dit was een oude scheepsbrug. In 1999 moest deze scheepsbrug verdwijnen, om plaats te maken voor de herinrichting van het stationsplein. Het koor had op dat moment nog maar een minimale bezetting van ongeveer 10 leden. In de jaren daarna groeide het koor onder leiding van een nieuw en enthousiast bestuur naar een toonaangevend koor van rond de 40 leden. Op uitnodiging werden veel buitenlandse reizen gemaakt (2000 New York, Washington, 2001 Salt Lake City en Baltimore, 2002 Wenen en Bratislava, 2003 Moskou en Sint-Petersburg, 2004 Bazel en Genève, 2005 Mulhouse en Straatsburg), en tevens veel aansprekende optredens. Het koor had inmiddels veel naamsbekendheid verworven.

Het koor wordt sinds december 1999 gedirigeerd door Geert van den Dungen. In oktober 2004 is een nieuw bestuur aangetreden, dat erin slaagde om het ledental weer te doen groeien na een wat minder goede tijd. De opleidingsklassen zijn weer goed gevuld. In 2006 werd een succesvolle concerttour op uitnodiging van de EU gehouden.
