Week 9: Fantasy Suites

(Read Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 here.)

Dracula's first date in Sulani took place with Marisol. They went to a beach where they hugged, flirted, had an amorous exchange, and Marisol shared her insecurities.

They snorkeled together, and swam to a small shore where they shared hugs, kisses, and seductive whispers. They had a pleasant conversation, even though Dracula disliked it when Marisol enthused to him about pop music.

Then they swam to a pier where he kissed her cheek and mentored her at fishing.

"Not gonna lie, I'm impressed," admits Marisol. "He has so many skills."

They spent the evening at a beach bar where they flirted and danced. Dracula recited love poetry for Marisol, who enthused about the possibility of meeting his family.

When she was hungry, Marisol got dinner from a stand, and they sat outside together having a steamy exchange.

Then they moved to the beach where they chatted in the sand and kissed on a bridge.

Back at the resort, the pair chose to forego their individual rooms, and stay as a couple in the Fantasy Suite, where they had an amorous exchange....

Early in the morning, after some coffee, they kissed goodbye and returned to their rooms.

"I'm not having any doubts anymore," Marisol reflects. "Last night was wonderful. Dracula and I shared deeply personal... um, thoughts. We discussed marriage, and our life together. I adore him. And we're definitely compatible." "I feel the exact same way," Dracula reciprocates. "We made... very happy memories last night, and we only continue to grow closer."

Dracula x Reader

Dracula and Genevieve have now been dating for almost a year. And now the time has come for the count to ask her the big question. But, before he could do that, he gets a unwanted visitor that he must put an end to, once and for all. But it wasn’t going to be easy with Genevieve there. How will it end?

Finale

Tonight was the night Dracula decided to ask Genevieve to marry him. Yes, she may be human, but he wondered if she wanted to be a vampire or not. He didn’t want to force her, so he will let her decide if that would be her choice. And of course, he loves her very much. He had everything in his home set up, candles lit on the table, a delicious meal was made for two and a little tiny box with the engagement ring was in his jacket pocket.

As soon as everything was set up, there was a knock on the door. He was beyond excited that he could finally see Genevieve for she had brought a smile on his face ever since the day they met. But, before he could open the door, he had a uneasy feeling that the person behind it may not be Genevieve. So, he looked through the peep hole of the door, and, of course, he was relieved that it was indeed Genevieve. Doing his best to keep his composure to hide his excitement, he opened the door for her and the way she looked was stunning!

“You did say dress formal. Hope it’s not too much.” She said as felt her cheeks get warm. He took her hand kissed it and replied with a smile, “No, it’s not. You look extravagant.” “I guess that happens when you date a phlebotomist.” Dracula chuckled at her comment as she walked into the house as he closed the door. “Let me take your coat so I can place it with my cloak.” He said as she removed her coat from her shoulders.

He guided her to the dining hall which was near a small ballroom that was the size of a chamber of an orchestra hall. “Hope you don’t mind dancing afterwards.” Genevieve looked at Dracula and said, “Oh no! I love dancing.” They reached the dining room and Dracula pulled a chair out for her to sit before sitting down himself. As they dined, Dracula asked Genevieve, “ Where do you see yourself in the next five years?” Genevieve wiped her mouth with a napkin as she replied, “Well…I already have a great job, a place to live and transportation…” she said. “I do want to get married and have a family one day, but I’m not sure if that would happen.”

As she said this, he took the opportunity to sneak the ring box out of his jacket pocket and got down on his knee and presented the box to her. She looked at Dracula with wide eyes, then looked back at the box as she took it.

Genevieve opened it and revealed a 1 carat diamond ring inside. “Please don’t tell me I’m dreaming. Because if I am, I definitely don’t want to wake up.” She said, doing her best to keep herself from freaking out. He chuckled as he looked into her eyes and said, “Since this is the anniversary of the day we met, I figure this would be the right time to ask, if you’ll make me the happiest person in this world and marry me?”

“Yes, I will.” She replied as he slipped the ring on her finger. Then there was a loud knock at the front door. Both of them were startled by the sound as they jolted from where they were and Dracula positioned Genevieve behind him for protection. “Wait here.” He said as he approached the door, he stopped. “What is it?” Genevieve asked as she walked behind him. He turned to her and said, “ We have an uninvited visitor.”

Almost immediately, she had a gut feeling who it was at the door. It was Brandon and he was furious that Genevieve would reject him and date someone else. He wasn’t going to let them be together, even if he has to kill one of them, then so be it. Dracula looked over his shoulder and said to Genevieve before turning into a bat, “Wait for me at the Gazebo in the garden.” He didn’t have to tell her twice when she bolted out the door that lead out into the garden. It wasn’t long until Brandon got in to confront The Count with a knife in his hand.

“I won’t let you turn her! You took her from me! I know what you are and I’m not going to let you have her!” He shouted as he lunged toward Dracula, but he was fast enough to move out of the way, causing Brandon to fall face first into the wall. “I will not force her to become like me….” He said as he walked toward Brandon. “….Unlike you who won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. When a woman says she’s not interested, she means it.” Within three seconds, Brandon whipped out the cross, causing Dracula to look away, using his cape as a shield.

Before he could get close to stab Dracula with a knife, Genevieve leapt up on his back yelling, “LEAVE HIM ALONE!!” Brandon dropped the cross and began to spin around to try to get Genevieve off of him. As Dracula lowered his cape, he witnessed Brandon slam Genevieve against the wall, knocking her out. As he reached for the cross he dropped, Draculas’s foot was right on top of it. Brandon looked up to the furious Count as he grabbed him by the throat and began to choke him.

“I warned you that I wouldn’t be merciful as last time, but it seems you didn’t learn your lesson. Now, you will pay…with your life.” He said as his grip around Brandon’s throat got tighter. Genevieve regained conscious and saw Dracula holding Brandon off the floor, asphyxiating him. Within a blink of an eye, he snapped his neck as if it were a toothpick. Although it didn’t kill him, he was paralyzed from the neck down. Dracula let’s him go and walked toward Genevieve as she was sitting up.

“Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?” He asked as he examined her for injuries. She replied, “Yes, I’m fine. I’m not hurt.” The Count pulled her into a hug and she does the same. Then she pulled away and said, “What are we going to tell the police about him?” Dracula looked back at Brandon, then at Genevieve. “Well, according to the law since he broke in, I acted in self defense.

Genevieve thought about it and said, “That’s true. He did intrude into the house. That explains it.” “I’m just glad you’re alright. I don’t know what would do if something happened to you.” He said with a sad expression. Genevieve placed her hands on his shoulders and said with a smile, “I’m not going anywhere anytime soon, because I plan on being here for a long while.” Dracula smiled at the last sentence as he bent down and they embraced each other with a kiss.”

Epilogue

Brandon-

Brandon was sent to the hospital for his injuries and was released into police custody

He was charged with assault and battery, break and entering, attempted assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.

He was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Dracula and Genevieve-

Dracula and Genevieve married a little while after the trial.

Dracula couldn’t bring himself to turn Genevieve into a vampire, even if she wanted to, they would have to be a reason. He decided to let her remain human and let her have the experience that he will never have once she is gone.

Genevieve later won many awards in her research as her career progressed down the line. And, of course, since she has access to the back room, where the spare blood was kept, she managed to sneak some in her bag and take it to Dracula.

Dracula didn’t know how it was possible. But despite being a centuries-old vampire, Genevieve soon became pregnant and together, had three beautiful children. Two boys and one girl.

Their names are - Vlad Wolfgang, Alexander Heinz, and Jemima Mikaela.
