one thing about me is that i’m always thinking about the elrics being the last survivors of a dead people, born after the destruction of their civilisation. do you ever think about how they are so severed from xerxian culture, and they have no ability to reconnect with it because the people are gone? all that is left is the sand, and the desert is so cold at night

Idk why people can’t grasp this but ned fulmer wasn’t fired for having an affair; that’s obviously morally wrong and shitty but there are no legal ramifications for the company if ned cheats on his wife. Ned was fired because he, a CEO and HR lead, engaged in an affair with his employee, and the power dynamic at play is morally wrong AND opens the company up to a lawsuit. Consent is tricky to obtain when one party is the CEO and the other is an employee. The outside HR team the guys brought in to assess the situation obviously felt that Ned’s behavior was disastrous for the company. THAT is why he was let go, THAT is why the other guys had to make a video addressing it. One guy cheating on his wife can’t destroy a small company, but one CEO getting involved with his employee CAN be a disaster legally speaking, and that would be the case whether ned were married or not

The want and urge to animate an eldritch horror Danny Phantom is so strong and yet I don’t have the artistic skill or knowledge of particular types of animation to fully do the idea in my mind justice

so i’m playing tears of the kingdom and going around trying to find as many caves/bubbulfrogs as i can, and i found my way back to the gerudo great skeleton (spoilers for that quest, i suppose). i was looking around cause i haven’t played in. a while. when i noticed something odd- there’s what seems to be a wing bone coming out of the back and disappearing into the ceiling (i used ascend to see if you can see it above ground, too, but no. it’s only in the cave). is this supposed to be the wind fish from link’s awakening?

and something else, too, with the eldin great skeleton. the other two look like whales, but this one doesn’t match. it’s quadrupedal and has a large, flat skull, like a shield

does someone who’s more versed in zelda lore than i am know what these are supposed to be/represent??

Notes:

-Since this Asriel retains Flowey’s personality, and is like 12, I can see him make a poor attempt to use a “dirty” word in an attempt to sound cooler, though he makes a fool out of himself instead…

-I’ll leave Asriel’s pronunciation of [PIPIS] to your imagination. But I believe you can find the correct pronunciation by YouTubing the Pipis Room meme.

-Suzy, Kris, and Ralsei are younger here than their Deltarune counterparts. Keep in mind that in Undertale, a random encounter with Clam Girl said that Suzy is like around Frisk’s age. This would mean Asriel would also be around Suzy’s age as well.
