Febuwhump day 11 - fever

Starting febuwhump in the middle of the month with my Links from my own au Courage of Ages, because I looked at the list and basically gave into temptation 😅

I’m going to try and keep these short so i don’t get stressed, just fun oneshots and an excuse to write my Links more :)

Here’s an explanation of courage of ages, as well as who’s who, but in this fic only four of them show up. Gloam is tp Link, Hue is albw & tfh, Era is hw, and Sprite is oot & mm.

“Gloam?”

The Hero of Twilight blinked his eyes open, looking up at who’d addressed him. Hue stood next to the tree that he’d been dozing against up until a few seconds ago, looking like he felt extremely bad for disturbing him.

“Hey Hue, what’s up? You need something?” he yawned, and the younger hero shifted his weight nervously, and scratched the back of his neck.

“Era isn’t awake.”

Gloam tilted his head. “And..? Is that a problem? I mean, we weren’t going to head out until tomorrow morning anyways, he may as well take a nap.”

“No, I mean he hasn’t woken up all day,” Hue stressed. “I was going to tell you earlier but I couldn’t find you or anybody else, so I figured I’d just wait, but now...”

Hue glanced behind him at the inn in the distance where they were all staying.

“He’s barely moved. He was making weird noises before too, I’m... I’m kinda worried Gloam.”

The goatherd furrowed his brow and stood up, forgoing his comfortable spot against the tree to instead follow Hue back inside to where Era had apparently been sleeping all day.

If it were almost any one of the others Gloam would brush it off as them just taking a nap, but Era was one of the Links in their group who barely slept under normal circumstances.

Maybe he was just really tired?

They entered one of the rooms several of them were sharing, Gloam noting the lump on one of the beds. Drawing closer with Hue on his heels, Gloam saw Era tightly curled up under the sheets, already odd since he tended to sleep ramrod-straight on his back. His blanket was tight around his shoulders, breath wheezing in his throat, and when Gloam leaned closer he could see his face was flushed.

Wait...

Gloam leaned down and pressed a hand to Era’s forehead, then winced at the heat under his palm.

“Darn it, he’s got a fever,” he muttered, and at his touch, Era’s eyes flicked open.

He looked exhausted, dark circles under his eyes and hair limp with sweat. He was always so put together, Gloam had to admit it was weird seeing him this... disheveled.

“We moving again?” the knight rasped, and made to sit up, arms trembling. Hue pushed him back down, and shook his head.

“No way, you’re sick Era. We’re not moving anytime soon.”

Era’s face paled.

“Sick? No. No way, I’m not sick I can’t be sick—” he said thickly, panic leeching into his voice.

“Era calm down, you’ve just got a bit of a fever,” Gloam soothed, trying to keep the worry out of his voice. “You only need some rest, you’ll be fine.”

Era swallowed, and Gloam could see him mentally push the panic down.

“But... we need to get going tomorrow,” he protested with a cough. “This was only supposed to be a quick stop, and then—”

“We can spare a day or two,” Gloam interrupted. “We switched pretty recently, I doubt we’ll leave this time for a little while yet. And you can’t go anywhere in this condition.“

Era looked like he was about to argue, but instead sneezed several times in a row, each one getting progressively louder.

Hue muffled a giggle at the surprisingly high-pitched sneezes, then shrank back at the look Era gave him.

“Umm, I’ll go get some soup I saved from the other night,” he said, then quickly escaped out the door. Gloam watched him go with an amused smile, then pulled a chair to Era’s bedside, sitting down as he looked down at the other hero.

The knight’s eyes were half-lidded and weary, but he made an effort to look more awake once he realized Gloam’s gaze was on him.

“I really am all right,” he rasped, and Gloam shook his head, sighing.

“No, you really aren’t,” he countered. “Hue said you’ve been sleeping all day.”

“So?”

Gloam eyeballed him. “You are always up at the crack of dawn, same as me. The only reason I didn’t notice you sleeping in earlier was because I was preoccupied,” he said a bit guiltily, then resumed his stern look. “You. Are. Sick.”

Era shrank in his blanket, looking away from Gloam.

“But I’m holding us up,” he rasped quietly. “We were going to try to make it to the castle, we might not have time if we w-wait—”

Era broke off into a stream of thick coughs, raspy and painful sounding. He groaned when he finished, and Gloam handed him some water, the knight weakly sipping at it. Once he’d finished, Gloam put his hand back on his forehead, trying to get a sense of just how bad his fever was. Era flinched, but relaxed after a minute, eyes drooping.

“I think your fever could be worse, but I don’t know how long you’ve had it either,” Gloam murmured, then pulled his hand away with a sigh. “Either way... it’s certainly not the greatest. We can see if this town has a healer, but in the meantime try and get more sleep?”

“Slept all morning,” Era mumbled. “Don’t need more.”

“You’re practically dozing off Era,” Gloam said dryly. “Just go back to sleep. Or I’ll get everyone in here and they can yell at you too.”

Era winced. “...don’t do that.”

The door creaked as he finished speaking, and Gloam turned, expecting to see Hue. But Sprite walked in instead, looking a little out of breath, like he’d run all the way here then stopped right at the door in an effort to seem nonchalant.

“Hue said you’re sick,” he blurted out, then crossed his arms and gave Era a foul look. “How on earth did you manage that?”

“You think I know?” Era croaked, and Gloam watched the worry in Sprite’s eyes grow more prominent at how weak his voice was.

The kid hesitated, then stalked over and jumped up on the bed next to him, ignoring Era’s immediate protests.

“Kid I’m going to get you sick, get off,” Era said sharply, but Sprite only crossed his arms behind his head and laid down.

“You shared your canteen with me yesterday, I’m probably already doomed,” he snipped back. “And I heard you and Gloam arguing, just go back to sleep, huh? It’s going to take you forever to get better if you don’t rest.”

“This from the kid who sleeps like two hours every night,” Era said with an eye roll, and Sprite elbowed him.

“Just go to sleep!”

Era still looked reluctant, and Sprite sighed, then creamed the knight with a pillow he’d grabbed without an ounce of apology. Era let out a affronted hey! and Sprite glared at him, holding the pillow threateningly under his arm.

“Era. Captain. Old Link. Go to sleep,” Sprite stressed. “Or it’ll be even longer ‘til we can leave.”

Era continued to glare half-heartedly at him, which Sprite returned with an equally fierce look, and Gloam decided to leave them to it.

“I’ll go see if Hue found that soup or not,” he said, trying not to smile, and began to leave the room.

“Wait, make sure nobody else comes in here,” Era rasped before he could go, grabbing Gloam’s wrist in a surprisingly strong grip. He gave him a serious look, and Gloam paused. “We don’t need it spreading. Keep Cloud out especially, you know h-how—”

He broke into a coughing fit again, and Gloam pulled his blanket back up around him, Sprite giving the knight a thinly-veiled look of worry.

“We’ll try and keep everyone out, calm down,” Gloam assured. “We’re serious though, obviously you need more rest. At least try and go back to sleep, I’ll go bring you some food in a bit.” Era didn’t reply, and Gloam left the room as Sprite rummaged in his pouch, already wondering how he was going to keep all the other Links out.

The sound of an ocarina followed him down the stairs, the slow notes of a lullaby ringing softly through the inn.

10 Secrets To Feeling Super Sexy (When You Don't)

Rihanna. Ryan Destiny. DeWanda Wise. Jill Scott. Kelly Rowland. Nicole and Bria Murphy. Kelis. Tika Sumpter. Yara Shahidi. Meagan and L'Myia Good. Janelle Monáe. Toni Braxton. Leela James. Karen Obilom. Nia Long. Lynn Whitfield. Lauren London. Sanaa Lathan. The late Aaliyah. Kerry Washington (especially in the movie She Hate Me). I could go on and on, Lord knows, but when I think of celebrity women who are also quite sexy (at least to me), those are some of the ones who immediately come to mind.

What's dope about the list is they're all different when it comes to their look, their style and their age. At the same time, what they each have in common is there's a hint of mystery and exoticness about them. 

Regardless of your sexual preference, when you see them, you tend to do a double-take and, if you were the type to share your WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday), they are the kind of women who would be on your list. They are appealing. They are exciting. Yep—they are sexy.

The reason why I listed them is because if I threw out the names of some of my friends or the woman who does my nails or this chick that I always see whenever I go to a particular mall, you wouldn't have a point of reference. My point in saying that is, a lot of women exude sexiness regardless of size, economic status or platform. Not only that, but just by being a woman alone, there are simple things that we can do to turn the volume up on our own sexiness in 10 minutes or less.

If you've got days when you don't feel your best but you want to feel a little more sultry, risqué or even glamorous, I think if you try some of the following hacks, you'll start feeling intensely excited about your own damn self. After all, the sexiest women radiate from the inside out, not the outside in. That is the foundational key for all things sexy.

1. Invest in Some Sexy Underwear

I'll be working on an article about the expiration dates of various things soon enough. But for now, just know that if you haven't gotten new bras and panties within the past 6-12 months, you are seriously overdue. If you know that some of your underwear has been in your drawers for at least three Christmases, treat your body to some new stuff. Then make sure that some of what you get is on the sexy side—lace bras, high-cut panties…things that make you feel like you've got a hot date with the finest man alive whenever you put that kind of stuff on (even if you don't).

Oh, and if you're like me and, because your "girls" are on the super-big-and-full side, it's hard to find sexy brassieres, one of the other writers here wrote about some of the sexy bras that she loves. Also, an overseas brand that I've come to adore is Figleaves. I can personally attest to the fact that the way you move changes when your undies are on the sexy tip.

2. Paint Your Nails (a Blue-Based) Red

Red is a fascinating color. As far as color psychology goes, it represents love, passion, fire and desire. What's really cool about the hue is it's something that women of any shade or ethnicity will look amazing in. If you're a woman of color, the key is to look for one that has a blue-base to it. It's more sophisticated and will complement your complexion better. As far as red lipstick goes, The Zoe Report has a list of 'em. But if you want to give your fingers and nails a bit of a red sexy pop, Red Diamond Crushed Diamonds Patent Shine 10x Nail Lacquer is a great-high end nail polish while China Glaze's Heart of Africa is a pretty awesome department store find.

3. Curl Your Eyelashes

Something that all of us should have in our possession is an eyelash curler. It has a way of opening up your eyes and extending the length of your lashes simultaneously. With curly lashes and a coat or two of mascara on them, you can flirt all day long without saying a single word.

4. Apply a Shimmery Lip Gloss

Anyone who knows me knows that if I've got an addiction to anything, it's lip gloss. I really can't tell you how many tubes that I have; it really is low-key a problem. I think what I like so much about gloss is I can put some on real quick, with or without lipstick, and my lips will instantly have a sexy pout to them.

If you really want your lips to stand out, go with a gloss that has some shimmer in it. Some brands that I think work pretty well include C.O. Bigelow Mentha Shimmer Bare Mint, sweetnectarbeauty's Vegan Lip Gloss and Maybelline New York Lip Studio Electric Shine Prismatic Lip Gloss Makeup, Lunar Gem. To tell you the truth, you can easily make some of your own too. All you need is some coconut oil, make-up grade glitter and a couple of other items and you're all set. 5. Also Apply Some Bronzer to Your Skin

Remember how I said that actor Ryan Destiny is super sexy to me? One of the things that I find to be so alluring about her is her deep chocolate skin that seems to have no pores or flaws. Yeah, smooth skin is definitely all-the-way-up sexy.

I wasn't blessed with that kind of skin, but I will say that exfoliation, sulfur soap (it's great if you've got acne) and using sweet almond oil as a moisturizer has done wonders! Also, when I want my skin to have a radiant glow, bronzer makes that happen.

Girl, if you've never gone out with some bronzer on your skin, words can't express how much you're missing out! Forget what others will think; you'll have a hard time walking past a mirror and not staring at your own self! So yeah, make an investment into your complexion and cop some.

6. Rub an Essential Oil onto Your Hair

OK, so you do have a favorite scent, right? How often do you put it on? Me? I'm an essential oils gal myself. Usually I blend two or three of them together to come up with a signature smell. Anyway, while putting a fragrance on your wrists and neck is all good, don't sleep on rubbing some of it onto your hair. For one thing, it will linger there longer than most other places. Plus, it has a way of leaving a trail wherever you go.

Oh—if you're kind of new to the whole essential oil thing, some scents that are really sexy include rose, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli and cinnamon.

9. Rock Some Glasses (Whether You Need Them or Not)

A couple of years back, for about six months or so, I had to wear some prescription glasses so that they could correct a mild astigmatism that I had (one that existed, apparently since birth, that made itself known after I turned 40). But with all of the frames I've got in my bedroom, you'd think I was blind as a bat! I've always liked how a good frame looks on my face. On both men and women, I think glasses are uber sexy.

It appears that I'm not the only one; glasses seem to have a psychological effect on all of us. They frame our face, show off our personality, give off a vibe of confidence, intellect and a bit of quiet reserve, and they definitely offer up a hint of mystery.

That's why you should treat yourself to a pair of glasses (prescription or not optional); not because your vision necessarily needs them, but because wearing frames is another easy way to look and feel sexy in a matter of moments.

10. Wear an Oversized Men’s Button-Down Shirt

A couple of years ago, a popular fashion trend was women wearing a man's button-down dress shirt. To me, it's not a "trend" so much as a classic go-to. It's empowering and feminine. It looks great on all body types. And, it's the kind of thing that you can wear with a tailored business suit or just to lounge around the house in. And, if you've got a significant other, he's probably gonna find that to be as seductive as any lingerie number you own. It's a win/win all the way around. Stay sexy, sis!

Hue slashed frantically at the monster stopping him, anger speeding him as he wasted precious moments in order to sink his sword through the beast’s chest. But once it was gone he scrambled to the edge where Brownie had fallen, noting with even more panic that Brownie’s bag had been knocked loose, and was lying on the ground near the edge.

Hue skidded to his knees, realizing in some part of his mind that the night had finally gone silent, but the rest was focused solely on squinting into the darkness below, faint moonlight barely helping him see at all.

“Brownie?!” he yelled, frantically craning his neck.

There was no reply.

Hue stared down at the darkness, blood roaring in his ears. He squinted desperately through the shadows, hoping for a sign, a shout, something to prove that Brownie was alive and had survived the fall, but there was nothing. No sign of him at all, apart from his bag that was lying in the dirt next to Hue.

He was gone.

“No,” Hue choked out, shock rooting him in place.

Footsteps sounded behind him and a hand settled on his shoulder, but Hue could only stare over the edge, uncomprehending the words he was pretty sure were being spoken to him as his stomach lurched and thoughts spiraled.

Brownie was gone. He was dead, there was no way he could survive a fall like that without his items or anything, even with how tough he was. His friend, his successor was gone and he should’ve done more, he should’ve gone to help him as soon as he’d realized he was so close to the edge but now he was gone—

“Link, breathe.”

Hue sucked in a gasp at the command, and felt someone lift his hand and place it on something. He numbly realized it was a chest, and someone was telling him to breathe along with him.

He gulped in another breath when the voice prompted him to, and managed to follow along with the steady inhale-exhale he could feel under his palm. The oxygen he hadn’t realized he’d been missing was enough to pull himself out of his spiral at least a little, and look at Hibiscus kneeling in front of him.

“Hib—“ he choked out, and Hibiscus put both hands on his shoulders.

“What happened?” he asked sharply, and Hue shook his head, throat tightening. He couldn’t say it, saying it would only make it more real, and it couldn’t be true. “Hue, what happened, where’s Brownie?”

“He fell,” Hue croaked.

He swallowed thickly, a wave of grief crashing over him, and suddenly it all came out in a rush.

“Brownie fell Hibiscus, a moblin hit him and it sounded like his leg broke, his bag fell off and he tried to grab the edge but he was too far away there’s no way he...”

Hue trailed off and shook his head again, fingers digging into the dirt.

“He’s gone,” he whispered.

Hibiscus’s expression turned to one of horror, and Hue squeezed his eyes shut, blinking back the moisture in the corners.

He and Brownie had only just figured out their connection a short while ago, realizing through a discussion of heroes and events and things that it was an extremely high possibility that Brownie might be the hero who came after Hue. They’d already figured out Hibiscus came before him, but Brownie being in the mix hadn’t even occurred to them before then.

Hue had never been too close to Brownie, and was embarrassed to admit he’d sort of glossed over him when they’d met due to his unassuming appearance. But with the reveal of their connection, he’d made an effort to get to know him more, and discovered that despite how he looked, Brownie was in no way unassuming.

They’d actually become friends, hanging out when they traveled, sometimes fighting together, and Hue found himself truly admiring the older boy, impressed at his resilience and determination.

But now he was gone.

Hue felt Hibiscus’s arm settle over his shoulders, and he didn’t protest when the other hero pulled him in, biting his lip as he stared down at the drop. A tear rolled off his nose and fell into the darkness, and Hue didn’t bother wiping away the ones that came after it.

“Do you think... could we look for him?” Hue managed to get out, but Hibiscus shook his head, his eyes shiny as well.

“Slate said even he doesn’t know how far down it goes,” he said, voice thick with grief. “It’s the very edge of Hyrule, nobody knows how deep it is. Even with a hookshot I don’t know if we could...”

Hibiscus trailed off, but then his voice took on a bit of bewilderment.

“...what is that?”

Hue turned and squinted down through the murk at where Hibiscus was staring, and blinked.

It looked like a tiny star was shining far below them, a soft speck of light that hadn’t been there a moment ago. Hue squinted, looking closer, and watched the light flickered, bobbing a little as it grew. It drew closer as Hue and Hibiscus watched in confused silence, and Hue could make out clear wings fluttering as it approached, a faint green color tinting the edges of the light.

A familiar color of green.

Something almost like hope lurched into his chest, and Hue stretched out a trembling hand towards the tiny ball of light, which landed on his palm with a slightly drunken flutter.

Hibiscus peered over his shoulder at the light, and Hue swallowed, staring at the fairy resting in his hands.

“Brownie?” he whispered.

The fairy let out a weak chime, light flickering, and it hopped out of his palm and spun around a few times, growing brighter. Hue and Hibiscus stared as the light grew, then suddenly went out with a few greenish sparkles.

And then Brownie was stumbling to his feet, looking shaken, but alive.

“Brownie?!” Hue and Hibiscus gasped. The hero in question clutched at his leg, stumbling a bit, but he raised his head and looked at the both of them, a weak smile on his face.

Hue immediately jumped to his feet and slammed into him, squeezing him tight and ignoring the squeak Brownie let out.

“Goddesses Brownie I thought you were dead,” he yelled into his shoulder, tears springing anew. “I thought you’d— I was terrified, don’t do that! How are you alive?!”

“I’m— I’m sorry,” Brownie stuttered, sounding rather surprised at his reaction. “It’s... it’s a spell...”

Hibiscus came up and grabbed them both into a hug before he could continue, shaking his head in what Hue was pretty sure an exasperated manner, but his voice was thick with utter relief when he spoke.

“Brownie, please never do that again,” he whispered, and Brownie nodded.

“I’ll do my best,” he mumbled, sounding embarrassed, but he let Hibiscus and Hue continue to hug him, which was probably a good indication of how shaken he actually was.

Hue didn’t say anything more, just buried his head in his shoulder, reassuring himself that his friend was really and truly alive.

What Do The Different Colors Of Kratom Mean?

Those new to kratom might be wondering how it is that one plant can come in different varieties when it reaches the market. The difference lies in the growth and methodology, not so much in the plant itself.

What Do Kratom Colors Mean

The euphoria produced by Green Malay lasts longest as compared to all other strains of Kratom.

There is a moment when the alkaloids in the Kratom leaves, which are the compounds that make them unique, are at their very highest quantity. Experienced Kratom growers know when to pick the leaves so they can contain the most alkaloids.

Green and Red Vein Kratom

Harvested in Nibung in the Bengkulu region of Indonesia, Green Malay is 100% pure green vein Kratom. The stems of the leaves are removed before the leaves are dried for one day. This helps maintain the green hue of the leaves, while also preserving the optimum alkaloid content.

Green vein kratom can be mixed with red or white kratom strains to create a more rounded and sophisticated effect. When properly mixed it prevents the excessive anesthesia of the red veins and the overstimulation of the white veins.

Before we get into the three main strains of kratom, it’s important to understand that all Kratom comes from the leaves of a tree that is part of the coffee family known as Mitragyna Speciosa (Kratom). The Mitragyna Speciosa tree grows in nature throughout the tropical rain forests of Southeast Asia. For example, countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, and others located in the same geographical area is where much of today’s Kratom is sourced from.

Red Vein Kratom leaves have red-colored stem and veins. Red kratom is by far the best selling and most widely available strain of kratom on the market. The red vein is sold more than the green and white vein combined. The red vein kratom plant grows abundantly in Southeast Asia and is slightly more persistent than other Mitragyna Speciosa trees. Some studies claim that the substances that give rise to the red color of the veins also ensure that the plant is less susceptible to external factors.

This tropical evergreen tree is native to Southeast Asia in countries like Borneo, Malaysia, and Thailand. It has been used in a variety of ways in traditional cultures for centuries. At times, it was included in cultural rites or to motivate laborers.

Due to the balanced functioning green vein kratom is often used against social fears. You will be less afraid and more able to disregard the importance of other people’s impressions and opinions. Therefore, the green veins are popular during recreational activities such as a night out in town.

Drying Kratom

I’ve seen a ton of supposed examples of different drying processes, such as drying indoors for a portion of time than outdoors to finish or drying without any sunlight versus only utilizing sunlight to dry. With so many different ideas being shouted into your ear, my best advice is to contact your vendor and ask for as much info as possible about the quality and conditions of the products you wish to purchase.

What Do The Different Colors Of Kratom Mean: Yellow

Yellow kratom is not a vein color. Rather, yellow refers to the tint that sometimes accompanies the leaves after this unique curing and fermentation process. Undertaken with the best green and white vein leaves of the indicated region, the fermentation process causes changes in the alkaloids, leaving you with a strain that falls somewhere between the red vein and green vein. Indeed, yellow is a mix of green and red veins. Yellow is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a good fit but haven’t found a more common variety that works for you.

Often, the variation between red and white kratom will be more simply explained as red being more “mature” and white being “younger.” In terms of overall light and sun exposure, this is true, but the terminology can be quite confusing.

Some of the risks of buying Kratom from a supplier that’s not reputable could be that the product you’re getting isn’t 100% pure Kratom leaf. It could also have other detrimental substances in it, like heavy metals, pesticides, or bacteria.

The Different Strains Of Kratom and What They Do

The Kratom different kratom strains thrive at their best in different conditions and contain various alkaloids which each produce their own effects. Red vein kratom strains are suitable for certain purposes, while green and white kratom strains are more appropriate at other times.

Ultimately, however, the color of kratom often has a lot to do with the way that it was dried! Green leaves are usually dried indoors for 80% of their drying time while whites are dried inside in the dark. Red leaves are given more sun exposure via outdoor drying or UV lighting, depending on the variety.

Green Vein kratom is another popular variety because most strains offer a nice balance of gentle, caffeine-like energy. For the same people noted above, this might be a good choice for daytime relief, while a red vein is reserved for evenings. In addition to stimulation and analgesia, green vein strains often alleviate symptoms of depression and improve mental clarity.

Yellow kratom is without question a new development. I highly recommend you contact your vendor if they sell yellow kratom and make sure they can answer all your questions. Where is it from? Is it a mixture of different veins or strains? You can even request a certificate of analysis (COA) from a testing laboratory.

For example, green vein Kratom is dried in an air-conditioned room in the dark, then brought outside for exposure to UV rays for one hour. White vein Kratom is also dried indoors in a cooled room, and not exposed to UV rays, so it keeps its light hue. Red vein Kratom gets the most light and is fermented in bags, which enhances its red hue. The more light red vein gets, the darker the hue.

A New New Trench Coat

Yesterday Misha posted one of his poetry videos on snapchat, but this time he was wearing a trench coat. Some thought at first that this is the old trench coat. This is not the old trench coat. This is a whole new trench coat. Lets call it trench coat 3.0.  Let’s first compare 3.0 with 2.0 the current trench coat used in season 12. I understand lighting and the camera on Misha’s phone could be affecting the color so I am comparing screenshots with both outside and inside lighting.

The color looks very close to the color of trench coat 2.0 but it also looks like it may have a greenish hue to it. I think it’s too close to say whether it’s a different color from 2.0 or not. So could this “new,new” coat just be 2.0? The lepel of coat 3.0 is significantly larger leading me to suspect this may be a double breasted coat similar to the first trench coat, 1.0.

Another difference is in the stitching. Both 1.0 and 2.0 have stitching near the button hole, where 3.0 does not. Trench coat 1.0 only had one row of stitching and 2.0 has two rows. 3.0 appears to also have double stitching just not around the button hole. Shown below from left to right is trench coat 3.0, 2.0, and 1.0.

The fabric of 3.0 also seems to be significantly different. Both 1.0 and 2.0 appear to be made of a light weight smooth fabric. The fabric of 3.0 looks like it’s significantly thicker and has a bit of a texture to it. Again from left to right this is 3.0, 2.0, and 1.0.

Lastly here is trench coat 3.0 compared to trench coat 1.0 with out side and inside lighting. I think it’s clear that 3.0 is darker but lighting is a funny thing so it is hard to tell. Again 3.0 looks like it may have a greenish hue to it. 

So I think this is a new trench coat in this video. But please remember a few things: This is not a video from on set during filming so this trench coat could just have been used for promo pictures or an ad for the CW. Similar to how we have seen promotional material with Misha wearing a black trench coat even though Cas has never worn a black trench coat on the actual show. This could also be for AU Cas. I kinda doubt it is for AU Cas though because AU Cas should be at least a little dirty. Even if AU Cas has the power to clean himself it would be very hard to film him staying clean and keep the sand blowing around. Of course there could always be yet another AU but I kinda hope the show keeps it simple with just one. 

I kinda hope this new new coat is Castiel’s coat for season 13 because I think it is a very nice blend of the two coats Cas has worn on the show. I would love for Cas to get a new trench coat to show that he is moving on from his depression and thus leaving behind the depression coat. Depression is all about worrying about the past so having this coat be double breasted would be a great call back to Castiel’s past and the original flavor trench coat. Cas wearing a coat that looks similar to the old coat but still different, would be a great way to show that Cas has accepted his past and is ready to move on. He has been changed by his struggles with mental illness so he can’t go back to who he was in the past.  And that’s a good thing. I hope this coat if it is truly a new coat for our Cas brings with it a new confidence for Castiel in himself and his decisions.

It is the energy that is used to produce ATP and to reduce NADP to NADPH. The release of energy from ATP and the oxidation of NADPH are then used to incorporate CO2 into organic molecules. Organisms growing in shallow waters tend to contain phycobilins that can capture yellow/red light, while those at greater depth often contain more of the phycobilins that can capture green light, which is relatively more abundant there.There are three types of phycobilins: Phycoerythrin:Phycoerythrin absorbs green, yellow and blue light and transmit red light.It is found in red algae. Phycocyanin:Phycocyanin is a pigment-protein complex from the light-harvesting phycobiliproteinfamily.Phycocyanins are found in Cyanobacteria. Allophycocyanin:Allophycocyanin (APC) is an intensely bright phycobiliprotein isolated from red algae that exhibits far-red fluorescence with high quantum yields. It is excited by laser lines at 594 and 633 nm, with an absorbance maximum at 650 nm and a fluorescence emission peak at 660 nm. Location of phycobilins: They are found outside the thylakoid membrane in small bodies called phycobilisomes.
