We love potential! This is a great size closet with little side nooks that help to ACCENTUATE the drawer’s focal point! The shelving is perfect at the entrance of the closet to give a ‘wider’ feel to the space! 👚 This closet has 20 drawers, shelving, adjustable hanging, accessories(!!), and a great pull out pant rack! Definitely maximized the space! 👠 👗 👠 The challenge is still there to maximize the hanging amount to make room for SHOES and a few drawers!! A closet that measures 13’ x 10’ is shared by two professional people. A closet holds so much: hanging clothes, folded clothes, 100-140 pairs of shoes (on average), hats, hampers, and so much more! 👗 👔 🧢 👠 We were able to design a space where our client gained hanging (45’ total now), in addition to shelving space and hampers. We always want to redo every closet we consult on! I think every closet contractor would agree. We see such potential with our designs and would love the opportunity to tackle the challenge! However we are realists and know it’s not possible. 👗 👠 We saw such potential immediately on how to maximize this closet. And stay within our clients needs and budget. Our client didn’t want a lot of drawers but didn’t want to rule it out entirely for future needs. That’s an easy challenge to resolve. We design with slightly deeper panels (to help with budget) and keep at a standard width to simply add standard size drawers later. (We can do custom size drawers if needed too!). 👗 👔 Any other design challenges? Our client has a slightly “L” shape closet and the window isn’t exactly centered on that back wall. So where our eyes go when looking into the closet is important and how the hanging clothes fit is important to determine. So where is best place for hanging and shelving. 👛 We ❤️ LOVE ❤️ how the install turned out! We took out the closet a couple days before to help our client paint prior! We put the hanging on the right side and kept the clean shelving line down to the back window wall on the left side. Soooooo much more storage now!!! 👜 👠 In this closet, we added only one drawer section, however our client can add more drawers later if desired! And to stay within budget we allowed open space for their existing hamper baskets (did you see them in the before picture?). And for the drawer section, we love adding additional closet space by “wrapping” the corner! Such a clean look! ⭐️⭐️ We are grateful our client gave us the opportunity to do their closet! And it’s frustrating to find anything, right? 👗 👔 There is a better way! Vertical panels (vs metal brackets) offer adjustable hanging! And this is great for growing kids!
