The Arts in ClayClan Culture
Information on ClayClan’s numerous artistic pursuits! ClayClan is most active at dawn and dusk, with a resting period in the afternoon. It’s during this resting period that cats most often participate in crafts! Clay sculpting, weaving, story-telling, play rehearsal, games, friendly competition... it’s time to take a break from hunting and patrolling and spend casual time with Clanmates.
Below the cut: Clay sculpting, weaving, story-telling and stage plays
Clay Sculpting
Perhaps ClayClan’s most important art is that of clay sculpting. It has massive significance in both their religion and culture, and is practiced by nearly everybody at some point or another. Sculptures are weak due to being sun-baked, so they’re replaced often. Religious sculptures are kept around the acolytes’ den.
Acolytes make special sculptures (known in Claymew as shihafbon) depicting the gods, Silverpelt spirits, or folk heroes - these are considered good luck, and can bring favor upon cats who pray with them. Gods have specific imagery used when sculpting them, but depictions of Silverpelt and folk heroes are more open to artistic interpretation.
All ranks can sculpt clay as a hobby! These sculptures have no religious significance or associated power, but are plenty of fun. Some cats get rather proficient.
Weaving
ClayClan practices simple weaving - den walls, nests, cordage, that sort of thing. Cordage is crafted out of woven grass, reeds, or brambles and is used to tie things together; it may also be baked into sculptures as a handle, making them easier to transport with the mouth.
Story-telling and Stage Plays
Story-telling is very important to ClayClan! Stories are used to pass religion, folk tales, and history down through generations. It’s not uncommon for a proficient story-teller to gather a crowd and spend an hour or more weaving a particularly complex tale. Stories are usually told in the afternoon, between the dawn and evening activity spikes.
In recent generations, the art of stage plays has risen in popularity! These plays involve several actors who memorize lines and put on a show for an audience (some plays also involve lines that are sung or chanted). Plays are shorter than oral stories due to the physical work and preparation involved. It’s common for actors to paint their fur with natural dye and don accessories to better resemble the character they’re portraying!  When gods are involved in a play’s storyline, they’re never actually shown - this is due to fear of misrepresenting them. Rather, there’ll be a cat hidden off-stage who speaks that god’s lines, and the cats on-stage will react accordingly.  Plays are acted out on a prepared stage somewhere in the territory. Before the show, a “backstage crew” will clear the stage of debris and even set up props! It’s a very creative process.

The Iberian Clans
Hello and welcome to my blog. The Iberian clans is my very self-indulgent warriors project focused on my 5 fanclans: Duneclan, Seaclan, Mountainclan, Brookclan, and Clayclan.  I’ve been working on it for over 10 years now but only recently found it in me to start posting about it again. I love worldbuilding and will mostly focus on it, I take a fantasy approach while still keeping some ‘realistic’ aspects to it, like genetics.
If you are interested, please take a look!

Absolutely obsessed with Clangen so I just had to draw my favourite cats. This is Minkstem the main medicine cat of Clayclan and a founder of the clan. He’s such a silly lad, somehow he’s always sick or has heatstroke. Since drawing him his mate became leader so his mate is now Beamstar slay for them. Minkstem also deleted a warrior he didn’t like and saw no consequences and the cat he got rid of was so disliked no one was sad about what happened.

9 Lives So Far
As Warriors fans know, all fit leaders are presented with nine lives, and that is no exception to the Kombat Clans. However, no leader is denied a life giving ceremony, thus even the most heartless of cats will gain all nine. Below is a list of all known rulers from each Clan and the lives they were granted.
Thunderstar (EarthClan): Justice, Protection, Strength, Perseverance, Nobility, Courage, Wisdom, Loyalty, Compassion
Arcstar (EdenClan): Family, Truth, Wisdom, Fate, Honor, Bravery, Loyalty, Strength, Power
Jumpstar (EdenClan): Compassion, Reality, Family, Justice, Pride, Destiny, Love, Swiftness, Logic
Sharkstar (ClayClan): Strength, Power, Rage, Pride, Control, Exploration, Endurance, Unity, Intelligence
Shrikestar (ClayClan/EdenClan): Revival, Peace, Fearlessness, Hope, Compassion, Energy, Loyalty, Certainty, Faith
Jaguarstar (ClayClan): Intelligence, Wisdom, Vision, Revival, Pride, Nobility, Strength, Defense, Judgement
Azurestar (ClayClan/As of MK11, subject to change): Wisdom, Honesty, Family, Love, Resistance, Hope, Rage, Peace, Undefined Past
Scorpionstar (SharpClan): Passion, Loyalty, Decisiveness, Family, Inner Fire, Control, Pride, Perseverance, Love
The Elder Icestar/Darkbreeze (ChillClan): Judgement, Power, Freedom, Mentoring, Instincts, Faith, Decisiveness, Comfort in Darkness, Pride
Icestar (ChillClan): Faith, Hope, Mercy, Strength, Judgement, Trust, Loyalty, Nobility, Honor, Swiftness
The Elder Gods are placed as the Clan Founders in this AU, and thus may not line up the same as the game’s canon. They’re subject to change. Tigerstar was not granted his 9, however, as SharpClan was not recognized as a real Clan until after his death, proving them worthy.
Cicadastar (ClayClan): Malice, Rage, Intelligence, Power, Sorrow, Comfort in Darkness, Manipulation, Mimicry, Loyalty
Crowstar (EarthClan): Purity, Listening, Growth, Light, Peace, Harmony, Energy, Revival, Loyalty
Chillstar (ChillClan): Ruthlessness, Power, Strength, Survival, Mentoring, Passion, Thriving, Inner Fire, Persuasiveness
Edenstar (EdenClan): Nurturing, Protection, Resistance, Growth, Quickness, Faith, Intelligence, Trust, Fate

ClayClan’s Mythology
ClayClan has a developed religion!  They believe in six gods, who made the world and have power over it; Silverpelt, the place where dead Clan cats reside; and various other myths and folk heroes. Their culture has no hell equivalent, as cats barred from Silverpelt are instead believed to remain on earth after death as ghosts. Note that, in-story, the nature of ClayClan’s mythology is vague - I’m not confirming or denying it as a true force in the world, but it does impact the characters through their faith.
Below the cut: Notes on the gods, patrons, the origin of ClayClan, death and the afterlife, blessings and curses, bobcats, and more
The Gods, Patrons, and ClayClan’s Origin
ClayClan’s pantheon is made up of six gods. The gods are considered genderless - they use a special set of pronouns, shaf/shafs, and may be referred to with molly, tom, or jack depending on the story. The imagery associated with a god is not what they truly look like, it’s just what Clan cats can approximate about their appearance - the exceptions to this are Yiaow, who is literally considered to be a bobcat with the head of a Clan cat, and Rhurr, who is literally considered to be a long-haired cat with a magnificent mane and flowing tail.
Rhurr God of the sun, moon, stars, and wisdom. Represented by a longhair cat with a great mane, sitting with its tail over its paws. Prayed to for knowledge, leadership skills, and important desires. Often seen as the leader of the gods. Parent of Hyaash and Mrrha.
Chikik God of seasons, natural change, and cycles. Represented by a snowshoe hare with its ears laying down against its back. Prayed to for good seasonal conditions and safety against negative change. Also prayed to for healing, as they’re associated with the cycle of life. Parent of Fulgurr.
Fulgurr God of clouds, rain, storms, snowfall, and travel. Represented by a bald eagle. Prayed to for good weather, protection against natural disasters, and for safety on physical journeys. Often seen as a protective spirit over messengers. Child of Chikik.
Hyaash God of hunting, fighting, and teamwork. Represented by a longhair cat with an open mouth and unsheathed claws. Prayed to for good hunting, good fighting, and to solve disputes between Clanmates. Seen as a protective spirit over apprentices. Child of Rhurr and littermate of Mrrha.
Mrrha God of creativity, clay sculpting, and community. Represented by a longhair cat laying down with a kitten tucked in its belly. Prayed to for good luck in life and for familial or romantic relationships. Child of Rhurr and littermate of Hyaash.
Yiaow God of the ocean, predatory animals, and all things unknown. Represented by a bobcat with the head of a Clan cat. Prayed to for safety against physical danger. Often depicted as having a strict sense of justice, or enforcing “an eye for an eye” - this contributes to a healthy fear towards them.
Living cats cannot contact the gods, but sculpting their image is said to appeal to them or bring their favor upon whoever prays with the sculpture (for more information, see my entry on sculpting). It’s believed Silverpelt ferries messages between the gods and the living; these messages manifest in omens and dreams.
While cats respect every god, some cats will have a patron, a specific god they feel close to and pray to more often. It’s common for a cat’s patron to change over time - for example, a captain whose patron is Hyaash may switch over to Rhurr after becoming deputy.
It’s said that the first three gods were Rhurr, Chikik, and Yiaow; Rhurr and Yiaow as opposing sides to the same leaf, with Chikik as an in-between force of change. Chikik’s child Fulgurr came to be around this time. Rhurr eventually led the cats of the world to form ClayClan to keep them safe from Yiaow’s dangers. The cats didn’t know how to live in a community, so Rhurr bore two kits, Hyaash and Mrrha, who taught the cats how to live properly.
Death, Killing, and The Afterlife
When Clan cats die, they ascend to Silverpelt, a mythical afterlife represented by the sparkling night sky. This is a direct result of their connection to the gods - due to this, it’s believed that cats only go to Silverpelt if they’re buried on ClayClan territory. This custom is kept tightly by the living and has led to a dedicated graveyard. If a cat disappears or is presumed dead without a body, the acolytes sculpt a clay rendition of them and bury that instead, out of honor.
Killing is mandated by the gods under specific conditions; cats may kill prey and predator, but only when necessary. Killing beyond these boundaries upsets the natural way of things. Killing another cat is majorly frowned upon, but killing a Clanmate is downright sinful, and a surefire way to get cursed by the gods (see the next section for more info). The concept of killing in self-defense applies only to non-Clanmates.
Blessings and Curses
The gods may bless or curse living cats based on their actions.
Blessings and curses take the form of events in someone’s life. Blessings may manifest as especially bountiful hunting, completing a difficult task, etc; curses may manifest as losing something important to you, being injured, etc. They’re very up to interpretation.
Curses are generally brought down upon someone for committing acts against ClayClan or the gods. Two examples are murder and faking omens - murder because it disrespects the proper way of life, and faking omens because it is both pretending to know the gods’ will and deceiving your Clanmates into thinking that as well.
These concepts come into play in the story primarily through Pickerelstripe (who lied about being blessed) and Cootfeather (who killed her former mate).
Bobcats and The Ocean
Bobcats have a dedicated spot in ClayClan’s mythology, despite rarely venturing into the territory. They’re seen as uncanny, devilish figures - like cats, but not quite right. Myth states you can sell your soul to a bobcat... you’ll receive an incredible bounty in life, but when you die you’ll be cursed to become a bobcat yourself, barred forever from the gods’ light in Silverpelt.
The ocean also has myths surrounding it. It’s seen as the end of the world; as far as ClayClan is concerned, it stretches past the horizon forever. Being around or in the ocean is incredibly dangerous.  Though ClayClan is technically near the coast, cats would have to walk for a day or two before hitting the ocean. its reputation for danger and association with Yiaow mean that nobody really attempts this.

Rank: Keeper (customs: Scavenger masks)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
·History
The use of the scavenger mask is recent, beginning during The Great Plague. Amid these terrible times, a certain Keeper by the name of Shrikestep “The morbid” noticed that scavenger birds, whose feeding habits should render them ill, had somehow found a way of avoiding infection. In order to replicate these abilities, she created a mask resembling the head of one of these birds.
Scavenger masks then were bigger and covered a cat’s whole head and part of their neck. Keepers were expected to see through small gaps in the masks’ pleita and their muzzle was accommodated in a long beak-like structure similar to that of a griffon vulture.  The times were dire and thus every contribution helped; some masks were painted with blessed symbols by their Seers. The fight was long and left many scars across clanner territory but, soon enough, the use of masks in combination with teamwork helped bring down the sickness. Having collectively helped saved many lives, Keepers felt masks were worth keeping around and continued wearing them to Colloquiums even after they were no longer needed.
Because these masks were heavy and difficult to wear, they slowly started shifting from their original look to their smaller modern counterpart. These masks, now known as scavenger masks, no longer cover the neck and only partially cover the face. They have eyeholes and are lighter and easier to wear. They are all painted with blessed symbols and are usually heavily decorated by their wearer. Furthermore, scavenger masks now have a new function: they remind Keepers that, when they work together, they become stronger, and as such have become a bonding mark for all Keepers.
While a harsh reality, the lifestyle of the clans often means individuals don’t see farther from their own territories. Clan cats care deeply for their clanmates but often see other clans and outsiders as a threat. A Keepers’ job is to care for, learn from and protect all catkind, no matter their origin and alliance, which can prove difficult to an individual raised with a clan’s mindset. Scavenger masks play an important role on this matter by creating a sense of belonging. By giving cats similar backgrounds and obligations, loyalties and prejudices are broken down. In this sense, all Keepers belong together.
(Of course, not everybody agrees with this idealized idea. The use of scavenger masks is often considered pretentious by outsiders. The fact that clanners need to wear accessories to consider others worthy of their help is very much reprehensible, after all. One could even argue that they only help break down barriers between clanners and not outsiders.)
·Creation
Scavenger masks are created in pleita using locally available plant matter. Seaclan, Clayclan and Duneclan usually prefer using dwarf palm leaves while Mountainclan and Brookclan prefer esparto grass. The masks all represent and imitate the shape of different scavenger birds, the species of which vary depending on origin and personal taste.
An apprentice’s first mask is called a “shrike” and is weaved by their mentor to be worn to Colloquiums until the cat becomes a fully named Keeper. Unlike scavenger masks, shrikes do not imitate the shape of any bird in particular, instead they are lighter and more comfortable to wear. These masks aren’t decorated and don’t bear any symbols either.
Once they have passed their assessments, Keepers are to weave their very own first scavenger mask. These new masks will later be painted by a Seer with the symbol of the Keeper’s new role, granting them a blessing. It is officially worn for the first time during their graduation, on a Colloquium Day. Keepers usually keep their shrike as a token, but some destroy it as a celebration.
When a Keeper has studied enough and is considered experienced within their role, they are given a scarf made of fresh leaves. This first scarf is weaved by the clan’s oldest All-parent, but once it rots every Keeper can make their next one themselves. Its function is to tell every other Keeper around them that they are knowledgeable in their role and their opinion is worthy of being heard. Scarfed individuals usually give speeches or partake in heated debates, while un-scarfed individuals listen and learn. These scarfs mostly serve a bragging purpose, nobody quite remembers when or why they started being used.
When a Keeper is respected, wise and knowledgeable enough, they are called into the All-parent role by another All-parent. When this happens, the oldest All-parent in the clan adds a new symbol to their mask and dyes the tip of their mask’s “beak” in black. This ceremony is held in camp but celebrated during Colloquiums.
Scavenger masks and scarfs are only worn to Colloquiums and sacred, or otherwise important, celebrations.
·Symbols: origin
The creation of the symbols used to decorate scavenger masks predates by generations the origin of the Keeper rank. Their use is exclusive to Seers as these symbols are considered sacred. Seers use them to channel magic and ask for godly favors: when drawn on the surface of a mask these symbols are meant to grant a blessing to their wearer.
The use of symbols on masks started during The Great Plague, when they were painted by Seers to grant their wearer a blessing of resilience and strength. Following the triumph over the disease, as masks started losing their medical use, some Keepers would request specific blessings so that they could become better at their roles. Subsequently, it became custom to have scavenger masks be painted with specific symbols so that every Keeper was blessed according to their role within their clan.
Presently, new scavenger masks are brought to a Seer who paints on its surface the required symbol and appropriately blesses them. This ritual is sacred and private as only the mask wearer and their chosen Seer can participate. To interrupt one means ruining the blessing and having to start again at a different time. If a Keeper were to abandon their role to pursue a different role, their old scavenger mask is to be destroyed and a new one weaved, painted and blessed. This is done under the belief that blessings, when abandoned, become unpredictable.
·Symbols: meaning
Herbologist symbol: “Soleá” when referring to it or when drawn on an object, “Lionflower” when drawn on a cat’s fur. This symbol belongs to Sol, father above and creator of all flora and fauna of the land. Specifically, the Soleá represents the connection between Sol and all plants. It is believed that, when using this symbol, Seers can call for the favor of Sol and increase the healing abilities of all medical plants. When painted on scavenger masks, the Soleá imbues its wearer with a blessing of memory and luck allowing Keepers to better remember each plant’s use and habitat as well as helping them find specific plants when they are more needed. Similarly, Seers draw this symbol over Keepers’ dens, where plants are stored, to strengthen their properties and keep them fresh for longer. It is also drawn over dirt and stone archways in the caves that house the wall of mallows to honor Sol and his creation.
This symbol consists of two overlapping flowers, a red one in the back and a white one at front, surrounded by two flowy green vines with leaves at the side. The red flower symbolizes the fertility of the earth while the white one symbolizes the sun; their combination results in plant growth, represented by the green vines.
Healer symbol: “Debla” when referring to it or when drawn on an object, “Evening touch” when painted on a cat. This symbol belongs to Luna, mother above and creator of dreams, conscience, and the passing of time. Because time heals all wounds, the Debla is related to the healing abilities of time. When painting this symbol over a cats’ fur, Seers can call for the favor of Luna, making time flow and healing them faster. When painted on scavenger masks, the use of the Debla allows Keepers to better predict how wounds and ailments of the body and mind will evolve through time, easing treatment and recovery.
This symbol consists of a new moon surrounded by a waning gibbous and a waxing gibbous, underneath a red paw print. The new moon represents healing, the waning gibbous conscience while the waxing gibbous resilience, the pawprint references the use of said attributes.
Matron symbol: “Lucero’s blasón” when referring to it or when drawn on the wall of mallows, “Flower cognate” when painted on a cat. This symbol is a blasón* belonging to the bloodline of Crane, Seaclan’s founder, and Winter, god and personification of the season by the same name. Originally, this symbol was used solely to represent said bloodline but, as Crane became more of a mythological figure than a historical one, it gained magical properties. This symbol is now related to fertility as well as health during pregnancy and childbirth. Seers paint it on pregnant monarchs so that Crane and Winter can protect them during difficult pregnancies. It is also painted on cats that wish to have kits to help them conceive. When painted on scavenger masks, the Lucero’s blasón grants its wearer wisdom, strength, and patience in order to help monarchs and kits with their needs and worries.
This symbol consists of two overlapping flowers, the front one is inverted and bright red while the one in the back is dark red. The front one represents inner fertility (bearers’ fertility) while the one on the back represents outer fertility (sires’ fertility), the overlapping of these two symbolizes pregnancies.
* a coat of arms, of sorts.
Blood archivist symbol: “Eclipse’s blasón”. This is the oldest symbol known to clanners, it has been painted on the Cave of fangs’s entrance for as long as clanner history has existed. According to their beliefs, the Eclipse’s blasón belongs to both Sol and Luna. It represents how Sol and Luna once were father and mother to all first living creatures. This symbol is only ever drawn on the family tree section of the wall of mallows to honor these deities; on scavenger masks where it grants its wearer a blessing of memory and intelligence so they can remember everyone’s ancestry; on sacred spaces like the cave of fangs; and on deceased cats’ backs when it is time to bury them. It is never painted on living creatures.
This symbol consists of a red root like design that surrounds a waning crescent on its right and a sun made of sparks on its left. The waning crescent represents rebirth and love while the sun represents life and joy, the red root joins both like it would a sire and a bearer in a family tree.
Builder symbol: “Alambre”. This symbol is associated with Lady Mallow, goddess of death, healing, and art. Particularly, it focuses on her artistic abilities. Because most Seers hesitate to communicate with Lady Mallow, as it is described as debilitating or draining, this symbol draws directly from her magic rather than asking her for a favor. When used on cat-made objects, it grants a boon of protection and sturdiness. Accordingly, this symbol is painted on dens when the weather threatens to damage them and on different important cat-made objects to ensure they stay structurally sound for longer. When painted on scavenger masks, it grants a blessing of craftiness and creativity to its wearer.
This symbol consists of a thorn circle, symbolizing a clan camp, surrounded by two long needle-like bones. It connotes the ability to transform a dangerous and inhospitable habitat into a home.
Acolyte symbol: “Giants’ Blasón”. This symbol is the blasón of the Giants’ bloodline, Mountainclan’s founder. This symbol is solely used in Mountainclan, where their bloodline is carefully maintained. Mountainclan is very keen on keeping this bloodline within the confines of their territory and, as a result, it is rarely painted on the wall of mallows of other clans. Similarly, because the acolyte role exists solely within Mountainclan, scavenger masks are only painted with this symbol here. Painting a mask with it grants its wearer a blessing of love and dedication but, mostly, it serves a social function: marking the wearer apart from other Keepers and denoting their special duties to their clan.
This symbol consists of an eye whose pupil is a half-moon, three drops of blood can be seen underneath it. The half-moon symbolizes magic while the three blood drops represent Mountainclan’s Leader, Seer and Acolyte Keeper, all of which share the Giant’s bloodline. The symbol denotes an Acolyte’s responsibilities to their Seer (caring for and watching out for them, as represented by the eye) and their Leader (providing new offspring to the bloodline, as represented by the drops of blood)
Mentor symbol: “Nene”. This symbol bears no magic qualities and is only painted and used by Keepers. The Nene is mostly used for bragging, Keepers paint this symbol on their checks when their Apprentice graduates. The more Nenes a scavenger mask has, the more Apprentices its wearer has trained.
This symbol consists of small red dots on the masks’ cheeks.
All-parent symbol: “Alcea”. This symbol bears no magic, isn’t associated to a god, and is only used by Keepers. When painted on scavenger masks, Keepers are paying homage to Hollyhock “the undying”. According to legend, Hollyhock was a Seer who was taught by Lady Mallow how to escape death by weaving and healing. During her life she would pass on her knowledge to different Apprentices, helping many generations to come. By painting an Alcea on a scavenger mask, Keepers are acknowledging wisdom, experience, and skill similar to that of this cat of legend.
This symbol vaguely resembles the shape of a mallow flower, shape that Lady Mallow herself painted on Hollyhock’s nose when they taught her. It is drawn on the “beak” of scavenger masks along with dyeing the tip of said beak in black.

Territory and Landmarks
Territory
The clans live in a large redwood forest. A creek flows in the northeast, ending at a beautiful waterfall. The creek flows into a pond in the very northeastern corner. There is a Twolegplace to the southeast and a mesa with a large, flat-topped boulder sitting in the middle. Inside this mesa, is a cave where a group of loners stay.
Landmarks
The Waterfall’s Mist - The place where medicine cats communicate with Cloudclan. Where the waterfall crashes down and creates large clouds of mist, is a flat rock. The cat lays on the rock and waits for the mist to cover them.
Flat-Top - The clan’s meeting place. The leaders sit on the boulder in the middle of the mesa, and the cats surround them.
The Connector - A large, wooden bridge that connects Redwoodclan to Inletclan
The Ledge - a place where the land gets higher on Clayclan territory and then drops off into the river below. Warriors and apprentices commonly jump off into the river for fun.
The Protected Clearing - a clearing surrounded by branches, bushes, and trees. The wildlife is so dense, no one knows what is inside..

CLAYCLAN TERRITORY
Clayclan technically has the smallest of the three territories, though what territory they do have is covered in thick trees and crisscrossed by rivers and small streams. The terrain is also a bit uneven, with lots of hills and unstable, muddy ground that can make traversing it difficult if you’re not used to it.
CAMP
Their camp is very cramped, all of the dens very close together. The Starpool’s water flows through the camp, bisecting it. It is easy enough to cross, however, and they rarely see any flooding from it. One one side of the camp, you have the nursery and elders den, both located in a hollowed out, fallen tree, though on opposite sides. On the other side, you have the leaders dun, underneath a stone that juts out from the earth, called the high rock. The den itself is somewhat shallow and it isn’t uncommon for the leader in leafbare to join the warriors. The warrior and apprentice den is side by side, both made of woven blackberry bushes.
DIET
It, unsurprisingly, consists mainly of fish. The main river runs too fast to ever freeze over completely, though only the strongest warriors are allowed to fish from it, as anyone weaker would be carried away in the currents. During the colder season, they also rely on birds and mice they can find.
LOOKS
ClayClan is not a big fan of relationships outside of the clan, so all the cats have very similar looks. Usually, their pelts are sleeker than the average cats, usually in shades of gray or black. They often have more rounded features and have a slightly stockier build compared to their counterparts.
BORDERS
ClayClan shares it’s western border with StoneClan, though it is typically called the northern border, as it is the northern most shared border out of all of the clans. They are divided by a fast paced river, which is difficult to traverse, even for skilled ClayClan cats. They usually have little trouble with this border, as StoneClan cats aren’t usually inclined to cross.
It’s southern border is shared with DustClan, unfortunately. There is not physical barrier between the two, other than some pebbles ClayClan put up in an effort to keep a more sound border. DustClan cats may cross this border to chase some prey, and there is a grassy knoll that DustClan has tried to claim in the past, due to it’s abundance of mice, though ClayClan depends on these mice during leafbare.
The rest of ClayClan’s borders are marked by the abandoned beast path. Huge, hulking metal beasts, even bigger than monsters, used to travel these past many moons ago, but they have since been abandoned.
