It’s a new morning after Katie and Andy slept together. Robert is also off early to find Katie. Diane tells Jack to butt out of Robert and Andy’s drama. Katie ponders whether to stay or leave the village. It’s a new day and once again the brothers Sugden brawl only to be separated by Jack. Robert tracks down Katie and her wounds of hurt are plain to see (Gah, the Robert and Katie scene reminds me of the Aaron/Robert talk early 2017).

It would appear the young Mr. Sugden is quite a hit with the ladies. (Part 1.2)

Andy still on it with Robert until Daz alerts them Katie is in the pub. But neither get there because Jack (with Victoria) come upon them demanding answers NOW! The confrontation in the pub between Katie and Sadie leads to a drink thrown and a slap! It gets worse as Tom fires Katie on the spot! Again, Robert denies any misdeeds now to his family. Betty, Ethan and Edna commenting on Sadie and Robert 😂. Back at home, Robert goes on the defense (‘But why the hell does no one ever believe a word that I say?’) but it doesn’t stick around needing to talk to Katie…

More filler for Robert in the pub as Tamsin basically throws herself at Robert and Katie is rightly irritated by it. Robert and Katie wind up having lunch with Jack and Andy. Jack invites Andy over the next day as Diane is getting the results on her health at that time.

Before we begin, damn the A R M S 😍. Victoria is acting up (she’s bored according to Katie), spilling a drink on Robert which starts a rant about him never having kids (sure, Rob). In the pub, Robert is one of the gossiping about the Alan/Steph debacle that just went down.

Robert asks Andy where Katie is and he throws his sleeping with Sadie back at him… it is all down to him Katie is gone. Chas clearly doesn’t have an issue with Robert over Katie. Robert wants nothing to do with Sadie’s advice giving. Cain continually pesters Robert this time using the sorry excuse over shoving Shadrach.

In this final part, Katie bemoans to Andy how Robert ruined things for her especially on her wedding day and for things to end as they did (um, it takes two to tango and the feelings were real between BOTH of them; it’s the producers changing the motivations). Katie sees it all as karma, she ruined someone’s life so why would she end up happy? Katie regretting walking out on Andy. Robert continues to weave his own version of things to Jack and Diane but Jack warns Robert, he’ll have hell to pay… by HIM! In the end, Andy winds up cheating on his current girlfriend with Katie.

At the farm, Daz doesn’t get why Robert and Andy are always ‘scrapping over’ Katie (she’s no Angelina Jolie 😂). A distraught Katie leans on Andy. Betty goes down in flames when she wants the lowdown from the Kings on Sadie, Jimmy and Robert. Robert and Sadie are the talk of the pub (so Chas saw Robert as a ‘gangly runt’ at that time 🙄). Tom explains his reasoning for sacking Katie to Jimmy and Matthew. Robert talks to Katie saying he loves her and never lied to her but it all falls flat when Sadie rings his mobile and Katie answers the call then checks his texts… They are done!

You’ll have to lump it then, won’t ya.

Final appearance for Robert in January 2005. Robert’s not a happy teen with having to push Jarvis’s car elsewhere not once, but twice in the end. Edna has her word with Jarvis about the car but it’s Pearl that ends up with a positive solution for them… parking the car outside of her place (her little plan… putting off buyers, in a nutshell).

Well, we got about an hour before the orcs come on and then she’ll be down here like a shot. (Part 2)

Jack and Diane celebrate in the pub with Jack getting drunk. While they are away, Robert and Katie ‘try’ to have some alone time but there are interruptions courtesy of Victoria (12 hour director’s cut of LOTR will keep her occupied to an extent 😂). And the whinging continues from Scott like a broken record. Jack gives Robert Andy’s gift and it’s something he was actually looking for (and Andy wouldn’t have been aware of).

Jack gloats to Diane how he bested the Kings about the land development and sees Robert has the one who helped to end that and the field the Kings were after is ‘as good as’ his. Robert makes it clear to Sadie she ruined his life (no, his brother did not according to her) and she’ll get what is due to her.
