it’s been so many years since i last visited penang (before pandemic), which is my parent’s hometown, and i do miss the street food so so much. this trip is mostly to meet up with relatives and also for the qing ming festival to pray respect to our ancestors, but we gonna still get awesome food though.
first stop when reaching the island is this local eatery which is famous for char kuey teow, and it comes with three huge fresh prawns too. because it was peak lunch time, and there were so many people, we waited about an hour before getting them, served hot, fresh from the wok.
it does taste good, smells so good and fresh and fluffy texture with the flat noodles, even though it’s fried with quite a lot of oil. the portion is not too big, and you can share the plate if you want to get other food stuff at the same eatery as well.
street food is really hard to find these days, especially the good and authentic ones which has the original taste from childhood, this is actually quite good and do recommend.

Melb trip hehe :-)
#lune’s kouign amann was sooooooo delicious & I’ve been dreaming about her ever since!!! waited in like for like 10 mins though which was 👍🏻#bc I hate queuing and I avoid it at all costs#the state library was a literal dream!!! it’s so so soooo beautiful and I could just stare at it all day#the la la land reminded me of the movie :’)#Lulu’s ckt was soooooo sooooo delicious and hearty but so heaty at the same time#my friend asked us to try the jam donuts and I’m not a big fan of jam but I liked it and t’was delicious#ACMI was also fun!!! and mork chocolate was heaven 😌#wished I could explore more and went outside of the city but I wanted to explore the city first since it was quite spaced out and all over#but it also means that I have a reason to come back :D#tram system made me realize how much I appreciate how simple our tram system are here lol#but weather was surprisingly really good too despite the numerous complaints abt how it’s unpredictable!#my friends and I were also saying how we were glad that we didn’t study here? as much as there are stuff to do but everything is so pricey#and I feel like we’d have a diff mindset#p#photo on bottom left taken on film!!!!!’

I think I'm just confused why T*yl*r didn't cut contact with B*ck off when she realized the full extent of how clingy and needy he is (y'know, the disaster double date with Albert when she just complained about mehmehmeh I was expecting dinner and some sex mehmeh) and said yes when he asked to move in when he "looked like he was about to throw up" (I was literally screaming "USE YOUR REPORTER BRAIN AND INVESTIGATE" at my TV) and now, she's about to have to deal with him being upset about her job and it's like why would you put yourself in such a position over and over again?????

ok i finally listened to all 23 Buck-tick studio albums so a couple things:
- finally able to do that discography retrospective i've been meaning to do for 2 years now lol (could kill 2 birds in one stone and make it a podcast). except i forgot there are non-album singles so now i'm finishing listening to all singles. i was thinking of dividing them up by eras except the eras are my opinion
- i was pretty sure that their later era was just not going to be as good and inspired as their music was up to circa 2003-5. but Keijijou ryuusei and the entirety of Atom miraiha no 9 came up and like. yeah. this is not just decent or solid, this is GOOD
#the yume miru uchuu to atom no miraiha streak is pretty much impecable#i was seriously impressed with atom in particular (and it's not because sakurai keeps saying random spanish words in it i promise)#ANYHOW. their singles are cool too. i had a blast with uta ver 2021 ngl like that was FUN#unrelated but i came to the controversial conclusion the vkei/jrock scene can be divided between france-boos and german-boos#guess where is bt and where is mm (been listening to them#ans I'm sorry to say that... i think g*ckt is my fav vocalist that band had..........)#laura's tunes
