I’m reading a Hades and Persephone AU, and now I have Thoughts:
In a Hades and Persephone retelling of MFB and the Legendary Bladers are wherever the duck they would be.
Kyoya is Spring, Gingka is Autumn, Chris is Winter, and Ryuga and Kenta share Summer (the yin-yang halves of the poetry of the sun, so to speak. Kenta does the PR lol)(it just feels *wrong* to separate them in the context of Legendary Blader-ing. Not an either-or, if we want Ryuga alive. (Or maybe Kenta is a mantle-pass thing, no matter if Ryuga *is* dead or alive, but I’d rather he be *alive,* thanks (except in the context of my 10k where there’s a *good* reason to kill him)), so who would be Death in this case?
King’s the god of War, and Dynamis is like The Oracle or The Fates. (….Apparently, there’s this thing going on crack/crack-ish ship of Dynamis/Rago??? I dunno who else would make sense, but they’d have a secret relationship ig. Or maybe *they’re* the Persephone/Hades story? Bit where does that leave Kyoya? Dynamis could represent the “fortune for the new year” part? What does Kyoya represent? The rebirth thing with all his shtick to get better and better than he was before?)
I dunno where Yuki goes (Considering the show mashed two gods from two different pantheons)(Does he cover the moon?)
King is obviously Ares, LITERALLY THE PUN.
Idk, but we can keep Aguma is the God of Time (not so much the daddy issues)
Not sure if we retcon Nemesis to be King of the Gods or the replacement Kronos where Zeus and his brothers teamed up to kill him and send him to Super Hell.
So Google says Quetzalcoatl has Venus, so NOW we know that it isn’t a Just Because thing! So what does that say about Tithi??? I’m not sure if they’d be on-board with the Cupid thing. But whatever form it takes, they’ve gotta keep Yu as their bestie.
