You should totes write a drabble or ficlet of a tender choukei moment where Karamatsu calls his bro Aniki.
So listen…Karamatsu, for all that he is, is loud, colorful in speech and showboat-y in personality - he’s not inhuman.
Osomatsu knows this.
Osomatsu sees this when he sees the hand mirror on the table. Sees Karamatsu sigh and take his shades off and just kind of...looks at his feet. Knows that when Karamatsu falls under his usual personality, that he’s not feeling like himself. The insecurities, the name-calling, the accidental beatdowns he’s received - sometimes that weighs on him like the burden of Atlas. Now Osomatsu usually will give him small words of encouragement here and there to lift his spirits...but it’s always been when Karamatsu was just simply off.
But today...today there were tears. And Osomatsu’s never seen tears before.
He’s quiet in his approach, but Karamatsu hears him anyway. The second son tries to rub away the tears, tries to seem convincing that he wasn’t just crying a second ago. But the sound of the soft sobs and barely there whines are burned in Osomatsu’s memories already. He sits next to his younger brother. Wordlessly, an arm comes around Karamatsu, shoving his head down onto the eldest’s shoulder. There’s confusion on the other’s face, but Osomatsu simply closes his eyes.
“You know we love you, right?” This statement puzzles Karamatsu further, of course he does. He expresses that sentiment and Osomatsu just shakes his head, “No...I don’t think you actually do...and I think part of that is my fault.”
This time his arms fully encase his brother, a proper hug taking Karamatsu by surprise...and then settling into warmth. Osomatsu’s eyes search the floor behind them both, “We all love you, Karamatsu. Including me. We love you no matter what.” The words sink into the blue clad brother slowly, but when it finally hits him, he trembles if only slightly. He relaxes a little more into the hug, trying desperately to swallow the lump in his throat. “...Thank you, aniki.”

Later Osomatsu would be found clinging to Karamatsu like a koala because Karamatsu called him ‘aniki’ (and he loves that because Karamatsu rarely does that) although he’d whine and complain for the first hour as to why Karamatsu didn’t call him ‘nii-san’.
