synopsis : winter has always admired you from a far. even when you two were children. despite her clearly showing she has feelings for you, you thought she was just being friendly. but after 3 years of not seeing each other, you finally decided to come back. and winter still has the same feelings as before.

authors note : and so it has begun! i do tend to experience writers block (which is primarily the reason why i’ve been putting this idea to the side for so long) so i’ll try to update as soon as i get an idea! i’ll start working on the first chapter asap. hopefully this series doesn’t flop 🤣. please excuse my god awful humor.

Well, as the name implies, for me it’s the cutest drama of the century! 🥰

But kidding aside, I suuuuuuper love this drama because 1) its Lee Hong-ki’s. I like this cutie patootie since You’re Beautiful and 2) I just love these 2 leads! That’s all. I fell in love with Na Doo-rim’s innocence and cuteness. It really fits with Hong-ki’s rude, cold role.

It’s a mix of romance/comedy/fantasy. Romance because it really talks about love, a fated love. It’s like when 2 people are meant for each other, love will find a way. Fantasy because there’s this “ghost” that I thought was the enemy. But her story really has a part in this story. A big part actually. And comedy because there are parts wherein you’ll just laugh out loud because of the 2 leads most esp. Hong-ki’s character. His innocence when it comes to love is just soooo cute! And also the supporting characters really have a huge part in this drama.

About the second male lead, Yi-hyun. I’ll give my heartfelt review on this character. I have this so-called “Second Lead Syndrome” because I really get so stressed when they try to ruin not only the lead characters’ love story but also my own heart. I mean, how could they always end up alone? They should be given their own love stories, too ‘coz they deserve it. ☹️ In this story, the second male lead was very understanding. He helped Doo-rim in any way he can and when she said that she doesn’t like him back, he never insisted. There’s this part when he said he’ll wait for her until he gets a chance but then, he never got any. For Doo-rim, he is just an older brother and that was so heartbreaking. He deserves more. 💔

When it comes to the OST, I only have one favorite song in this drama. It was entitled Words I Couldn’t Say Yet by Lee Hong-ki himself. Well if it’s Lee Hong-Ki, expect a very heartfelt song. Just be hearing this song, I missed FT Island so I listened to their songs again. The song gives a lot of feels!!!!!! I wanna cry whenever I hear it.. Choa of AOA has a version of it too.

I enjoyed it so much! I hope there’ll be a new show of them together!
