how come NONE of you see the vision!!!!!!! chloe isnt gonna be emo, she's not gonna be in the movie at all she's very obviously gonna contrast emonette by being PREPPY!!!!! and obviously i come striding in, days late of the design's release w chloenette propaganda. anyways skdlkj
marinette got a redesign bcs if u want her to be emo/grunge, u gotta give her a leather jacket ok? as for chloe, i've seen some fanmade edits of her on tiktok where she's just in full pink. like yeah but also no.
i think their personalities would be switched too, w emonette being all cold and distant and "ugh" (*rolls my eyes at you*) and chloe becoming a puppy whenever she's in marinette's presence "hi maribabe i love your eyeliner omg is that a new nail polish i love your boots please look at me just once"

The fact Gabriel a child abuser, that took part in a murder(Shanghai special), almost murdered an entire family small children included(Senti bubbler), threatened to start World War 3 (new york) and has been terrorizing Paris for over a year not only gets hailed as a hero but gets his crimes buried by Ladybug meanwhile Chloe a child that has done far less than him not only gets treated like the devil incarnated but is sent off to live with her abuser as a 'just' punishment is quite frankly disturbing

Critique for S5 Revolution:
The fact that exactly zero people question how Chloé got the Tsurugi brand murderbots, who gave a 14 yr old girl control of them, or anything else along these lines really shines a light on how the only purpose was to demonize the girl. Tomoé at the very least should have been buried in lawsuits instantly.
The show drills home the idea she isn't very smart relentlessly, even in this episode bit everyone just accepts she's capable of planning a counter-coup (after the Bustier Coup) and controlling a state of the art AI security system.
That's some shockingly poor critical thinking on the part of the heroine whose power is critical thinking. 🤣

An utterly ridiculous feeling
Discovering the existence of aromanticism and asexuality is life-changing for Chloé.
Few, simple words turn her ever-present feelings of alienation into a reality shared by other people. She feels relieved, knowing she’s not alone. Studying the asexual and aromantic spectrums makes her feel understood. She also feels confused, for romantic attraction eludes her understanding—sexual attraction is confusing, too, but it’s got more physical descriptions, she can picture it somewhat. Maybe the absence of understanding is an answer in its own right?

Stagnate
“Ms. Dupain-Cheng?” Nathalie asks. Marinette turns to face her from her piano.
“Yes, Nathalie?” she responds.
“Your mother has requested your attendance in the opening of the Bourgeois Hotel in three days. Miss Bourgeois will also be attending.”
It takes all of her willpower for Marinette to not tilt her head back and scream at the top of her lungs. She settles for a sigh instead.
“Okay. Can you tell her that I’ll make my own dress?”
Nathalie nods and hits something down on her tablet. “I’ll tell her that.”
“Thank you.” Marinette moves to her table and starts designing the dress- it would be a tight schedule, but she could do it.
***
“Mare-bear!” Chloe practically screeches as she sprints across the room in her heels. Marinette braces herself for the inevitable jump- if she was going down, she might as well go down with some dignity.
“Hi, Chloe,” she says weakly, petting her hair after she had launched herself onto Marinette.
Chloe pulls herself off of Marinette long enough to look at her dress. “Mari! Did you design this yourself?”
“Yeah, actually. I did it in three days with no sleep, so that has to be some sort of record.”
“Marinette. You have to get sleep,” she says condescendingly.
“Eh,” she responds, shrugging her shoulders. “Where are the snacks?”
Chloe just sighs and points to them.
“Don’t eat-” she starts, but Marinette’s already halfway across the room. “Too fast.”
Marinette heard her mother’s heels approaching after she ditches Chloe.
“Marinette, you should not abandon your friend. I raised you better than that.”
She wants to retort, ‘You didn’t raise me at all,’ but she instead bows her head and looks at her feet.
“Yes, Mother. I’ll return to her in a moment.”
“Good.” Her mother stalks off, probably to terrorize a poor client or plan something with Audrey.
“Hey, Chloe, what were the names of the kids in the class?” she asks after she finishes eating a croque-madame.
“Well, you don’t need to know anyone’s name in class. They’re all losers anyways.”
Marinette frowns. “Chloe.”
She just pouts in response.
“Fine. Well, there’s Ivan and Mylene, who are disgustingly in love. And there’s Nathaniel, who’s an artist. There’s Max and his jocks, Alice and Kim. You know Sabrina, obviously. Juleka and Rose, too. There’s this new girl, Alya, and her boyfriend, Nino. And then there’s Agreste,” she says, spitting the name with venom.
Marinette tilts her head. “You’ve told me a lot about this Agreste guy. Why don’t you like him? What makes him so bad?”
Chloe rolls her eyes. “Don’t even get me started. He’s just so nice to everyone, and he gets into their minds. I bet he’s manipulating them to do stuff for him. And on top of that, his parents are bakers.”
“So? What’s wrong with being a baker?” she asks defensively. “Or have you forgotten that my father used to be a baker, too?”
Chloe diverts her eyes. “Sorry, Marinette. I’ll try to be nicer. I know you’re trying to help me, but I think I’m a lost cause.”
Marinette internally rolls her eyes. Chloe was back on her bullshit.
“It’s okay.”
***
“Hey, Adrien. Wanna play Mecha Strike after school with me?” she asks one day at lunch.
“Um. Uh, sure play Mecha Strike fine,” he stutters out. She nods happily continuing to eat her croissant. She wondered if she still intimidated him- she had apologized after the gym incident, but it seemed like maybe he was still afraid?
“Hang on, I've gotta take this call,” she says when her phone starts ringing.
“Yes, Mother?” she says, walking away. It was oof that her mother was calling her. Usually Nathalie would call.
“Marinette, I need you to come home. Your father… his condition is deteriorating. He won’t make it much longer.”
“What do you mean?” she responds, her eyes already filling up with tears. She looks to the sky to blink them back.
“I got a call from the doctor- she’s saying that he has less than three hours left. The infection is spreading over his lungs and heart.”
Tom Dupain had gone into a magic-induced coma at the age of twenty-eight. Marinette knee that he had some sort of infection spreading through his body, but she never imagined that he’d actually die.
“Okay, Mother. Is the Gorilla coming to pick me up?”
“Yes, he’s on his way,” she says, and the phone goes silent.
She walks back to her friends.
“I’m sorry, guys, I have to go home. I’ll call you when I can talk to you,” she says almost robotically.
Adrien’s face is scrunched up in concern, and she can’t help but think how cute he looks, similar to her Bug.
She walks away.
***
The funeral is held on a bright, sunny day. Marinette wishes it would rain. She watches as her mother stands near her, her face not showing any emotion.
She watches her grandmother and grandfather weep as they watch their son being lowered into the ground.
Marinette feels nothing.
Bridgette sobs, and she watches Felix comfort her. She sees a few unfamiliar faces- the patrons of her parents’ old bakery, his old university friends, and some of his relatives.
Adrien watches a single tear escape her eye, then no more.
He knew what it was like to fear for someone’s life- his mother had had breast cancer. He had cried freely. His parents stand behind him, and he smiles despite the circumstances.
At least he still had both of them.
Marinette wouldn’t.

I could see Gloria Rossa making Chloe’s life miserable if she went against Lila. Chloe has caused her fair share of akumas and uses her dad’s power to force others to do what she wants. If Gloria Rossa let it “slip” to the press that Chloe might be in league with Hawkmoth along with exposing her father’s corruption, people would believe her. Maybe Andre loses the election in Dark Blade? Powerless, Chloe goes to the one person who’d believe her innocence, Marinette.
If Chloe doesn’t join Lila’s flock, oh yeah. Chloe isn’t one to share attention, to be a follower. Unfortunately, in power vs popularity, things don’t work out as well as she expected them. The mayor can’t suspend all the students that side with Lila and stand against her. And thanks to Lila, they’re all inspired to stand up to Chloe, to tell her off, and she has to stand there and listen to it all, face up to it. And she can’t win. No matter what she tries, she can’t win or get an edge over Lila.
Even the faculty is on her side, and Chloe can’t get Lila kicked out. And then Gloria goes on the news, shares her “suspicions” that Chloe is in league with HM, her reputation is ruined and Chloe looses it all. There’s nothing she can do to get back on top, and even her own father is distancing himself from her, afraid for his own reputation and claim to his seat of power. And Sabrina, she was snatched up in Lila’s manipulations, and Adrien, he, how dare he. While he reassured that they were still friends, a fat lot a good it did as she stood alone, facing this with him not doing anything to help her. She was the one that ended their friendship, pissed at him and his complacency.
She tries to grudgingly continue on, tell them that it doesn’t matter. She can be on her own just fine; but its not so. She doesn’t like to be alone. She’s having a hard time doing anything on her own, she’s at a loss to do with herself, she can’t stand this. And she can’t take this out on anyone, they’ll all turn on her, ready to gang together to fight her.
The only other that was alone was Marinette, while it was hard, she was continuing on. She was doing fine. And Chloe, didn’t want to admit it, but was lonely and desperate for some kind of support and ally. Marinette wasn’t so easily welcoming, and it was a struggle to get her to humor Chloe long enough for some sort of relationship to reform, though it was delicate, threatening to break at every turn. Chloe learned the hard way that Marinette wasn’t Sabrina, and she can’t turn her into another one, Marinette would leave her alone. She can’t make comments about Marinette or her life or background. She can’t entice Marinette into getting back at everyone.
The only thing she can do that kept Marinette from leaving was a shared mutual dislike of Lila, and that, Chloe could focus on. And with this, their partnership started to form and solidify, and when one day, she found a little box, with a fox tail necklace inside, and a little fox being with coy purple eyes gazing up on her.
With this, came a new opportunity.
Time to send a Jinx Lila’s way.

How come Archer Chloe has access to venom as a np?
The miraculous is tied to her legend due to her finding the miraculous and being one of the original three temporary heroes.
Because of that, Archer is able to manifest a replica of its power. However, because she no longer has access to the actual miraculous itself, everywhere outside of France, her version of venom is downgraded to C rank.

Maribat oct rare pairs- day 1

Day 1- october 1- decorating
“Babe, what do you think of handing our wedding photo here? Timmy did such a good job with this candid photo of us and we both look so fabulous and I wanna show off how beautiful my wife looks,” Chloe kept rambling as Cass stared lovingly at her partner.
Her blonde hair was in a messy bun and she looked gorgeous in her yellow tank top as she again started ranting about the sheer obliviousness that Tim and Marinette managed to display.
“- I mean really Cass they’ve been going at this since before you and I have known eachother how long can people keep being this clueless?”
Cass stood and crossed her arms, her eyebrow raised and an amused grin resting on her face, “Five months,”
Chloe stopped ranting and turned around, beet red, “Oh come on that was different how was I supposed to know you were flirting?”
“I called you the light of my life and gave you a necklace,”
“That totally could’ve been platonic!”
“We sang “little miss perfect” at the top of our lungs together,”
Chloe huffed, trying to hide her embarrassment, she turned around and held up the photo of them again, “So the picture,”
Cass walked towards her and snaked her arms around her waist, resting her chin on her shoulder, “Perfect,”

“Welcome to another Lila Cooks, today we are joined by Chloe Bourgoeis as we cook the newest dish to be included on the menu at Le Grand Paris” says Lila.
“The creme de la creme pommes frites, First we start with slicing the Chipperbec potatoes into fries. I had these potatoes imported from Quebec naturally. Next we blanche the frites in vinegar and Dom Perignon champagne, you can pick up a bottle at €1000 a bottle, which is a steal at that price” says Chloe holding up a bottle of Champagne.
“I’m sorry what?!” says Lila doing a double take.
“That’s cheap?!” Says Marinette off camera.
“After that we triple fry the frites in pure goose fat, Not oil, and make sure to use fresh goose fat each time you fry the frites”
“of course” snarks Lila.
“How many geese died for these frites?” asks Marinette behind the camera.
“Now we sprinkle the frites with edible gold, truffle salt and truffle oil and serve with sliced truffles and Mornay cheese dip. There you go, a meal worth €170, perfect for a light snack” says Chloe holding up the plate.
“Chloe, you know that some people can’t afford to buy bread?”
“Is this the part where I’m supposed to say ‘Let them eat Brioche,’ and you make a guillotine joke?”
-
I forget that Chloe is rich, so the idea that she doesn’t understand what is cheap is so funny.

CHLOÉ BOURGEOIS DESERVED BETTER
ningaleIn the beginning, in season 1, I used to hate Chloe Bourgeois. Oh my God, she was so annoying, and caused almost every akuma in the first season.
Whenever she speaks, I get annoyed! I used to call her bitch, because she was a true asshole.
Then, season 1 was over, and we all wait almost 2 years for season 2.
During the the hiatus, we got some spoilers/concep arts of akumas, new heroes and new powers that we’d see in the next season. And among these spoilers was Queen Bee.
When I first saw Chloe as Queen Bee, I was terrified. “How can she get a miraculous? She’s an asshole!” I became really angry, but... with time, before season 2 come out, I became used to it. “Maybe they’ll redeem her.” I thought. And then, I became super excited at the ideia.
Season 2 began, and Despair Bear made me love Chloe. At that time, we didn’t know Chloe’s past, where her mother was, why she is the way she is. But, depair bear began to change the way I and others see Chloe.
In Collector we see how much Chloe likes Adrien, and in Despair Bear I witness one of the best friends interactions between them. We never have seen a scene of both interacting like that. And I love it!
In Frightningale, Chloe was like her usual season 1 behavior, but... In Zombizou, for the first time, Chloe felt regret for what she did, e apologize to one person she cares a lot, Miss Bustier. This episode made me hope even more for Chloe redeem herself and showing she was worth of a miraculous.
And then, it came out “The Queen’s Battle Trilogy”, ons of the best episodes ever. I love the episode Style Queen. It showed Chloe helping Ladybug several times around the episode in order to save Adrien and her mother. Thanks to Style Queen, we learned more about Chloe and why she acted that spoiled brat way.
I have to admit, I got really dissapointed in Queen Wasp because of everything Chloe did in her premiere as Queen Bee. But, at the end of this episode, seeing her hugging the destroyed bee miraculous made me spechless. Seeing her improring for a second chance made me sad for her. Seeing her apologize to Ladybug and Cat Noir made my heart warmth. The end of episode, showing us Chloe asking her mother why she didn’t love her made me( and problably almost everyone) sad.
In Malediktator, Chloe was still learning the meaning of “being nice”. She opening herself to Ladybug was really amazing. She getting a second chance of being Queen Bee was incredible. Ladybug and Queen Bee fighting side by side was one of my favorites scenes in the whole season 2.
In Heroes Day, Chloe was amazing. She acted like a true hero during this 2 parts episodes. I began to love Chloe even more!
BUT... Season 3 came out and ruined everything about Chloe’s development.
I hate how she became so cocky about herself being Queen Bee, and diminishing others because of that. I hate the way she acted in Animaestro, Stormy Weather 2. I hate how she treated Sabrina in Startrain. That was not the Chloe I met in season 2. That was the brat from the first season. I hate it. I hate how the writers ruined Chloe in this season 3.
But, Miraculer aired, and it made me still have hope for Chloe. She, in this episode, was exactly like herself in the second season. She was a true hero. Of course, she made Sabrina sad, and that’s wrong. Bur, she resisted an akuma, she refused the offer Mayura did, she almost got the peacock miraculous and helped Ladybug and others defeat Miraculer. and at the end, she accepted that she would not be able to be Queen Bee again. She was amazing in this episode! Utterly amazing.
But, then, season 3′s finale happened and it just ruined everything about Chloe. I don’t want to talk about what the writers did to my favorite character. I’m just sad for Chloe.
She deserve better. She was a true hero several times. She improved so well in season 2. Sometimes I just want to forget all the mistreat Chloe received in season 3.
Chloe is an amazing character with great potential. And I still have hopes about a true redemption arc for her! Even though I am 100% sure the writers will never give this to her.
CHLOE BOURGOEIS/QUEEN BEE DESERVED BETTER!
