About which signs are you talking when you say that it could be her last season (I’m talking about Tracy) ?

I think the signs could differ from person to person, but for me, 3 big signs make me speculate that S10 could be Tracy's last.

The first one is that this season is her last of the contract. This means if she wanted a break or to try something different, this is the perfect chance to do so. Tracy has been on this show for 6 seasons which is a long time. So if wanted to take a break from acting or try a new project, this would be her perfect opportunity.

Tracy hasn't done any interviews yet for this season, even for her big storyline, but I believe the latest interview she did was with Michigan Avenue Magazine. She talked a little about PD and her character Hailey, but she mostly talked about her hobbies and what she likes to do around Chicago. During her interview, she also mentioned wanting to create her own content. She said she wants to produce and get into writing and maybe even direct one day. I remember sometime last year, one of her friends posted on Instagram about a short film that Tracy was directing. I'm not sure if it's a recent or a past project she worked on, but there have been hints from her possibly trying something new in the future.

It's also a little strange how Hailey is getting many more episodes so far this season compared to the other characters. 10x01-10x03 was focused on Jay and his exit, but Hailey was still a focus during those episodes. 10x05, 10x07, and 10x09 are, for sure, Hailey episodes that are related to the Sean storyline. Some fans think that 10x09 will wrap up the Sean/Hailey storyline, and the remainder of the season will be focused on the other characters, specifically Voight. But it's interesting how the writers show the tension between the chief and Hailey, even if it's just in the background. We saw the tension more clearly between Hailey and the chief in 10x05. And even in 10x06, there was a quick conversation between Hailey and Voight about the Sean case even though it was a Kevin episode, which PD writers never does. It's clear that Hailey is gonna do everything she can to put Sean in prison. And the chief won't be happy with Hailey for going after his son. So even if Sean's storyline with Hailey is wrapped up in 10x09, my gut is telling me there will be more tension between Hailey and the Chief (with a mix of Voight) in the remainder of season 10. All this focus on Hailey could just be a coincidence, or it could be the writers' way of setting up Hailey/Tracy's exit.
