2. My favorite scene of them
Definitely the scene where Childe introduces us to Zhongli. It just nails my favorite vibes for them. "Cheerful debt collector whose job description almost definitely includes murder introduces us to his close work consultant: a funeral worker." and "Upstanding, respectable scholar goes to dinner with his good friend, the biggest threat to national security in the city".
5. A scene I wish we had of them
I very badly want a scene of them interaction after the reveal that Zhongli was using Childe for his little test of Liyue. If I'm not mistaken, we have evidence that they do stay in contact to some degree afterward? It'd be interesting to see what kind of dynamic hoyo envisions for that.
8. Who I think is the ”crazier” one
I mean. Childe XD Zhongli has had thousands of years to work out his issues and he's remarkably well adjusted for a former war god. Zhongli may or may not have outdone Childe in the past (and I do firmly believe the reason he tends to adopt all these violent child soldiers is that he sees some of his past self in them), he's very steady in the present day XD

Continued from here (X) with ZHONGLI
The dragon hissed as his eyes merely narrowed as they spoke. They were an odd thing. Usually the two legged ones would run when he came. But this one did not. In fact he had a similar reaction to him as that of his other half as he became overly curious now. His curiosity was perked as his ears perked up. Nostrils flaring as the pinks showed accenting the darkness of his scales.
Carefully his wings retracted and tucked into his body. This was perhaps the two legged his other half had spoken about before. The dragon growls reassuring that he was still unsure about them as he carefully lifted his paws off of his shoulders. Day and Soul too was weird about the clothing he said he had to wear. He didn't understand that. Climbing off carefully as to make sure his claws didn't piercing said clothing. He didn't smell a threat as he huffed.
Looking him up and down the dragon turned and headed back towards the campsite. His tail flicking for him to follow. If he was truly the person Day and Soul was looking for they would know returning.

A yawn escapes the smith as he moves the flap of his tent out of the way. Steps careful as to not trip over anything as he came out to nothing but darkness. It seemed he slept in a lot longer than he had anticipated as he rubbed at his eyes. Sleep still heavy on his face as he looks around. Toothless had definitely disappeared. Not that he was surprised seeing the dragon seemed to have chased after something. With how loud he had been.
He'd go look for him in a moment. He leaned down carefully to the fire pit and with his flint he started a fire to help give him some light so he didn't trip over something. Looking up only when he heard a familiar huff.
"Oh and what did you go chasing off after this time hm?" He questions as the dragons treading seemed to speed up and knocked into him. He didn't see anything in his mouth as he felt carefully. Perhaps he scared off a poor merchant again? That would seem to make sense. But what he didn't expect when he looked up was the glare of eyes in the woods as he jumps startled. A hiss coming from Toothless as he looks and sees the faint outline of the man from the merchants stall. "Its you..." He felt a sense of relief for the moment. It was no enemy. Merely Zhongli.

He would stand upright before rolling his injured shoulder briefly. He didn't flinch, but the pain was still fairly fresh. It wasn't often that he was grabbed by anyone, least of all someone who was capable of manhandling him. Of course, he still had considerable power but opted not to use it. He'd turn his attention to Angelus as the redhead was questioning him.
"I will be fine. Thank you. What about you?"
He couldn't be sure if the person who had accosted him had managed to get their hands upon the other male or not. Zhongli wasn't weak but living as a mortal was a learning process still.
"I do have to ask, if it is not too hard to answer, what brings you back to Liyue?"

Lately there were some thoughts that were weighing on his mind and he was sure to ask the old god to tea at the Wangshu Inn before his departure again to Mondstadt.
The very thing he wished to discuss with the other.
He had come to the realization of his words of a previous talk when it came to affections with a mortal. He simply wished to speak his mind. Verr Goldet had helped in assisting him procuring snacks that would range in taste for them to sample. He cared not for the snacks. But the Almond Tofu so generously made for him would be happily accepted. He would thank her later for her help. Now all that awaited the adeptus was Zhongli and the fresh tea Smiley had promised to brew for them.
Perhaps he would taste the tea this time.
