The Jregswap Explanation Post

Hello, it has come to my attention that a lot of people are finding out about this old Jreg AU called Jregswap. And, if you found out about it recently, you don't really have much to go off of for information of it's short lived existence, except for this post which I'm making because of said lack of information)

Before I say the rest I would like to give credit to the main artist of Jregswap, @snalz-artt . Not only did he create the art, without him some of the most important stuff wouldn't have been recovered.

The Jregswap Extremes:

Here we have the first Reddit post about the concept, posted by the creator. It shows who the four main extremes would be switched with: Extremes who share many characteristics with them but also characteristics of the opposite quadrant. We have:

The Communo-Capitalist: A communist who believes in the creation of Anarcho-Capitalist Free Cities, where the top 1% would be culled regularly. (Based on this video)

The Homo-Fascist: A fascist who believes very strongly in LGBTQ+ rights. (A Centricide character)

The Anarcho-Fascist: An anarchist with extremely rightist views on cultural homogeny, race and identities in general. (A Centricide character but was also conceived in this video)

The Moneytaker: A radical capitalist who corrupts the state to bend to his will. (Based on this video)

Here's the art of the Swapped Extremes. Again, all art drawn by the person I mentioned at the start.

Here's some art featuring the leader of these extremes, Guevara Jreg. Snalz sent this to me when I asked him to help with this post.

Here's a comic the Jregswap team made. A dub of it was also the first Jregswap video ever made so that's cool.

The Jregswap Centrists:

The centrists in the order of this image are:

The Social Democrat, The Populist, The Centrist, The Neoliberal and The Moderate Conservative.

We never really got to many details on these guys, they seem self-explanatory enough I guess. They also seem to be the ideologies in the most moderate positions of each compass quadrant. Socdem libleft, Populist authleft, Neolib libright and Modcon authright.

None of these characters are based on Jreg characters, except for The Centrist who appeared in The Political Compass Rap at the end.

Here's an image of this AU's Nazbol equivalent, The Bleeding Heart Libertarian. Bleeding Heart Libertarians are economically right but culturally left, this idea was conceived of before Jreg had a Pink Capitalist character.

The Jregswap Overtons:

Here are the moderates, or as they were called in Jregswap, The Overtons!

The (Russian) Reactionary, The Classical Liberal, The Wobblie (Industrial Workers of the World) and the Democratic Confederalist.

Similar to the centrists we never got to much information on these guys, but they are all real movements so whatever.

okay so my centricide self-insert’s designated ideology would be “anarcho-accelerationism” (shorthand: an-acc) where qui believes all forms of anarchy are compatible with each other, which makes quem a “wacky ideology”

anyways, qui believes all forms of anarchy are valid and this is how qui befriends ancap in the first place because ancap’s going on some rant about how “taxation is theft and NAP good bla bla bla” and an-acc’s just going along with it, nodding because yes this is totally valid you’re right before pulling the same stunt with all of the other anarchist ideologies. ancap figures out eventually and has a crisis over it because “am i not special?? did qui not fall for my capitalistic charm?? is… is ancapistan not based?”

y’see centricide is this webseries where the four extremes of the political compass, referred to as ancom (anarcho-communist or anarkitty/anarkiddy by the one character), commie (communist, or tankie), ancap (anarcho-capitalist or kulak ig (i’m not russian but it’s not like jreg is either where did he even get that)), and nazi/authright/blueman (authoritarian right), team up to cide the centrists bc The Lore That I Won’t Explain. and 90% of the fic is shipping. probably bc ancom and commie had a questionably-romantic duet together in the form of leftist unity and when ancom left commie was like “who am i w/o him”

other characters include: the centrists (radical centrist, horseshoe theory centrist which you can make memes about bc his gimmick is saying “the way i see it, x and y are basically the same”, the others like ape-political very cool), the Wackies (homo nationalist basically nazi but gay, transhumanism who is just a guy with a tinfoil box on his head, anarcho primitivism, anarcho monarchism ig, and posadism which is also great to make memes abt because The Nuclear Sirens that follow him), and the anarchists

why auscap.. whys he australian… i need to know this lore.. it keeps me up at night

glad u asked because im so insane but everyone* i talk to just accepts auscap without question and it hnngngh

so for a little backstory it started in september last year** when i went away with a family friend who had also watched centricide and i asked "wouldnt it be funny if ancap centricide was australian" and there wasnt a single thought behind our eyes when we unaimoiusly agreed yes that would be funny and que the next 2 or so months of being the most annoying headcanoner ever but hey it was fun.

at the same time i was in 9th grade english class in australia and our topic was poetry analysis of silly bogans pre/during the gold rush and the more we analysed the more i was like "hey this shits kinda like ancap centricide" because idk if you have ever been in an australian english/history class but theres a lot of talk about the "[white] australian identity" mainly around when brits began moving here outside of sendign their convicts and during ww1. and the australian identity is mostly centred around being somewhat anti authoritarian and while not technically based in capitalism it was about rich british people getting a taste of the bush and not shutting up ever

because of [white] australias history being in the convicts sent over from england theres an intrinsic sense of anti authoritarianism that was albiet a lot more common in the 19th and 20th centuries but i digress its still relevant idc because it was used in these little bushmen shit where they would idolise this life living outside the government at the time

so the poem that we used for the exam at the end of year 9 english unit 4, while i dont rember the name of the poem nor the writer, i do remember what it was about and what it was about was this guy writing for 6 fucking pages about the bush and how it was so cool and literally made for him he loves it so much and at the back of the pages there was a little biography of the author and you find out that this fucking guy hadnt stepped foot in australia before turning thirty, hes some rich fucking english bloke who came over for the gold rush and left almost immediatly after. the poem we were analysing came from a guy who had never even seen the bush !!! and idk i think thats pretty ancap core

and for a last round of background info from september-november 2021 i actually dmed jreg back n forth about it and ended up getting jrem to confirm auscap as real, and it was real for a whole month before the gender tier list stream on twitch where i asked and jre said that ideologies cant have nationalities um !!! thats not what u told me in dms !!!! also i didnt have any socials at the time that interacted with the centricide fandom apart from my discord so if u were in the authunity server i am NOT sorry for being so annoying about it

tl:dr white australian history is anarcho capitalist also i thought it would be funny

*everyone excludes ps, the owner of the athunity server, who hated auscap so much he banned the use of the word "australia" in the server, fuck you ps-and nankeen and riley, my australian buddies who actually inquired on auscaps existence yall r real ones (i havent talked to nankeen in 8 months)

**i say september because TECHNICALLY the headcanon + first dm to jreg happened in late spetember but i celebrate the anniversary on the 8th of october because that was when my sister edited the image of ancap and made auscap into something tangeble

random extremist unity headcanons that i thought of in the shower or just while zoning out in general:

Nazi actually likes cooking and baking, but he thinks thats a woman's job so he doesn't do it often, but when he does its actually really good

Ancap really likes making dad jokes or puns to either annoy people (nazi especially) or just does it for the shits and giggles

Ancap is also the type of person to make puns out of items in the grocery store

Ancom wears a skirt to bed, and y'know what? good for quem

Commie doesn't wear anything to bed, not even boxers, i guess you could say he's a hot man

Ancap and Nazi on the other hand, could wear a full suit to bed no problem, but for different reasons. Ancap could wear suit to bed because hes too lazy to take it off, Nazi on the other hand could do it because the fucking AC in his room is freezing so the layers are helpful in a way to keep him warm

Speaking of rooms, Commie does not have an AC, he only has a fan and thats it (hah onlyfans-)

Nazi is naturally very cold, by that i mean literally, if you touch his hand you're probably gonna get hypothermia or some shit

In contrast to that, Commie is naturally hot, both attractively and,,, temperature-ly i guess

Continuing those two headcanons, if Nazi and Commie touched hands or just touch skins in general, if you squint you can see a small smoke eminating from that spot

Nazi has all kinds of weapons under his bed, including a flamethrower

Ancap can play the violin and piano

Nazi can play bass and guitar, and can sing really well, almost as good as commie

Commie can sing pretty well (as seen in leftist unity of course), but he cant really play any instruments besides a recorder but even then the only thing he can play on it is hot cross buns and the soviet union anthem

Ancom can play the drums and an otamatone (that thing that looks like a music note and makes weird sounds, ancom can play that now i decided), ancom is also not the best singer but que's got the spirit

i have a lot more but ill save it for another time and maybe give them their own posts
