Hello and welcome aboard friend, good taste 🤩

Not gonna lie, Sesskik are difficult to grasp. So even though I love this ship a lot, unfortunately not many writers can pull them off (to my personal standards) since I’m real picky when it comes to too much OOCness, and cause of that I dropped quite a few fics in my time sorting through the already small pile lol. But, glad to say there are special exceptions that tbh either blew my mind with the potential those two have together or just managed to make me like this ship even more. 💯

Multichapter

⭐️ . The Rift Between Auras // Chio Saki : Canon-compliant. Kikyo begrudgingly joins Sesshomaru’s group after she saves Rin on Mt. Hakurei. Listen, this one you should read regardless of what you even ship, it’s on a whole different level. Just the sheer respect and love put into every single character/relationship in the series and the 1:1 in-character portrayal - a straight up masterpiece that uses the Sesskik potential to the max. (It’s so good that us Sesskik shippers just accepted this as our one true canon lol.)

⭐️ . Forbidden // Tsuyu no Inochi : AU, post Naraku. The OG. One of the firsts I ever read and I have a lot of love for this oldie but goodie. Really nicely written with interesting and well-developed OCs, explores Sesshomaru’s royal court life and his duties and how our regal Kikyo fits into them perfectly. Also has some very spicy moments and an ongoing sequel to it.

⭐️ . One Thousand And One // WWT4982483 : AU. Sesshomaru captures Kikyo as her Saint Hijiri self. Really well-written and I like the creativity and world building of this one.

⭐️ . First Sight, Yet Nostalgic // WWT4982483 : A fully translated story from Chinese and is just gorgeously written. This author translated a few other stories too and every single one of them is so pretty.

⭐️ . Cold // EnigmaticArsenic : Kikyo finds Sesshomaru unconscious and hurt after a battle and decides to take care of him. A classic.

Oneshots

⭐️ . Dear // @skylxft : Gorgeous. Angsty. Wonderful. Feeeeeels. Honestly, every single one of Ellie’s Sesskik oneshots is gold. Go check them out!!

⭐️ . Kintsugi // CardyDesu : Modern AU. Sadly will forever be only a oneshot, but I still liked it a lot.

⭐️ . Little Girls Have Their Ways // @modinu : Modern AU. Cute and wholesome. Rin does what she does best and slaps Kikyo in the face with “you like my dad dont you? get tf on that!!!” This oneshot is no different.

⭐️ . Give Your Tears To The Tide // marsmagari : Sesskik from confused Inuyasha’s POV. Short but good.

Anyway this took longer than I thought so I’ll stop here, I think.

Still not an inuyasha blog, but we all need some laughs. Here's a list of popular Sesshoumaru pairings and why I think they're great.

Context: Sesshoumaru has always been my fav character. However, I ended up becoming a multishipper because I AM SO DESPERATE FOR A SHRED OF EMOTION out of that fucking plank, that literally any other character having any sort of romance or interaction with him was a slippery slope. These are in no particular order cause they are all, for the most part, great.

Sesskag: my O.G O.T.P! I always saw Sesshoumaru as a more mature Inuyasha (I say that lightly cause they're both dense), and I always felt kagome was too good for inuyasha 😆 (I mean she still is, but I'm good with inukag cause now we have moroha). This pair is a good balance of demon vs priestess. I mostly blame @youkaiyume for her beautiful art and storytelling. She had me hook, line and sinker. Will ship this until I die.

SessMir: also a good balance, similar to sesskag. These men could learn alot from each other, and it could have been oh so tender. Also its hot and has dope fan art 🤷‍♀️

SessSan: This pairing is dope because of the juxtapositions of demon vs slayer. Extra saucy, physically strong characters, and has great fan art.

SessNar: I actually dont like this pairing, but I'd be lying if I said I couldnt see why it's a thing. I just dont like naraku, honestly. Theyd probably go to sephora alot together, though.

SessKagu: the waaaaayyy better version of SessNar. Also kagura was so underrated. Rumiko did her dirty. This pairing could have been so beautifully toxic together, but it would be dope if it wasn't, too (they found d healing together or something). Not enough fan art of this, but some really good gems out there. I would have loved to see this become canon, and will ship it till I die.

SessRin: Oh the controversy. Personally? I never saw romance between them in the show or Manga (mostly because there never was anything beyond platonic interactions- in fact, I always assumed sess saw rin as more of a pet in an ironic twist of species?), but I did figure they'd end up together simply because of Rins influence over Sesshoumaru's character arch...which is all I ever wanted, really. Something. Just a little emotion that wasn't anger. I don't love the age difference (mostly because it's a low hanging fruit for people who dont like the ship), but despite some peoples claims, there really is no tangible toxicity in this relationship that we as fan actually witness. In fact, we only ever really see a mutual love, respect and dependability for one another, which is just plain lovely, and again, everything I wanted out of sesshoumaru's character. Also, rin being sassy and roasting Jaken often brings me great joy. Has great fanart. Will ship this until I die (now, more than ever, out of spite lol).

SessJak: I dont blame anyone for this. All the evidence is there, low key. "Beautiful Master" 😏

Sesskik: a very aesthetically pleasing pair, although emotionally speaking, it's like stacking bricks. Has great fan art.

SessInu: I mean...I've never actually been a fan, but they were always on each others ass, so...🤷‍♀️

SessKae: Pure Hilarity and underrated. Best age based pairing of all. No one appreciates kaede enough, and honestly? I'm not sure she can even die. Perfect for an immortal demon lord 😂

SessKog: This one is just hot 🤷‍♀️. Not as good as SessMir, better than SessNar. They'd probably kill each other because communication skills are lacking on both ends here. They're both dumb though, so who knows. Not enough fanart, but a handful of gems.

Sess x no one: now, the whole point of this post is self-serving ships, but sesshoumaru with no one is also very believable! I could totally see him has never learning how to be in a relationship, or never NEEDING to be in one. I dont believe being in a relationship was the only way we could've gotten emotion from him, but that would require better writing, so it was never gonna happen that way, unfortunately.

I hope over the next few weeks, despite all the commotion, the fans can at least just enjoy the show for what it's meant to be: a shitty anime sequal that is our only renewed outlet for nostalgia. If not, stop watching it and find inner peace 💖 life is hard enough these days.

I'm still a major SessKik lover cause that was my first ever Sesshomaru ship and I will never let go of it but I can't dnye the lovely bond between him and Rin and how over time it grew from sweet admiring to genuinely real love plus I'm a mulitshipper so it works out for me

Will this be a rant? Of sorts, maybe.

It seems now there is another discourse in VK fandom, this time about whether Ren and Ai will be a romantic couple or not. Firstly, Hino is drawing them in a suggestive way, that’s true.

Do I care if they end up together or not? Not really. She has drawn Kaname and Zero in a suggestive way many times, hell, even in recent covers Zero is literally all over Kaname. Not to mention Zero/Kaname has way more fanfictions and incredible fanarts than either of the canon straight couples. It’s true, just check it.

Think what you want, above illustration is pure Zero/Kaname and Yume.

And, in the below one, Zero’s hand...Sorry, two rivals and enemies just don’t do that.

Look at the above illustration, that’s not how two guys stand if they are enemies, they just don’t.

Secondly, both Ai and Ren have an intense need of another’s blood. Now, many people say their relationship is creepy…

Sorry, but many shoujo mangas and mainstream novels have the same crap. The girl is obsessed with the boy and also ends up with him. Yikes. Gross.

And, those stories are celebrated. So, why be against these two? Oh, wait, it’s because they are not hetero.

Hino is not doing anything great even if they do come out as a couple, Clamp has done it many times and Clamp works are way more popular than Hino’s can ever be.

X, a shoujo genre manga has Kamui and Fuuma.

They loved each other, don’t even try to argue with me about it.

Seishirou and Subaru, the most tragic couple of manga and anime are also in it. CCS has Yue with Clow Reed, Yukito/Yue and Touya, Sakura and Tomoyo, some of these feelings are one sided, but none of them are hated.

These couples are way more popular than whole VK manga. Rg Veda, another shoujo has Amaterasu and Souma, Taishakuten and Ashura-ou, Yasha and Ashura can also be interpreted as an M/M couple. Oh, wait. That’s canon. They are together in Tsubasa.

And, don’t get me started on Fai and Kurogane. There you go people, these are shonen and shoujo mangas which have same sex couples.

And, the readers know there was something going on between Fai and Kurogane even if it’s not stated explicitly.

Clamp literally said,”do not call Fuuma and Kamui brothers”. They are soulmates. They don’t even mention the obsessed fangirl, kotori.

Arina Tanemura, whose stories are a perfect example of a fangirl ending with the guy they were after, also has a single M/M couple in one of her works. Mostly in her stories, the main girl likes one guy, but in the end, that guy never ends up with her. He ends up with one of the obsessed fangirls.

Am I still bitter about how dirty the mangaka did Itsuki Otomiya? Yes. The sweetheart doesn’t even know Haine was his daughter, and the whole bloody cast had coloured illustrations, a freaking artbook is there for the series, but not a single illustration for him. Yikes.

I hope she redeems herself and makes Tokita and Chikage a couple in 31 Ai dreams. The only series of hers which didn’t have this cliché was Sakurahime Kaden and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.

And, let’s be honest, Eiichi would have have ended up with another fangirl if he wasn’t dead in Full moon. Thank god he was spared that bullshit. But, then again, he dies. That’s not good either.

Gentleman’s alliance cross, Nekota are just bad. Yes, the art is beautiful, but that doesn’t mean the males of her series deserved to end up with obsessive fangirls.

The one with underage relationship, Nekota or whatever [thank god that was never picked up by Viz.] In this, the blue haired dude, Serizawa, who the main girl liked from the beginning didn’t end up with her, he ended up with a fangirl. Ugh.

And, it is incestuous, the girl has feelings for her underage cousin. Right.

Her art is beautiful, but damn it, her stories are so annoying.

For her only M/M couple in shinshi doumei cross, she had to make one half of the MM couple a cross dresser.

The guy, Maora was wearing woman’s clothing every time he and Maguri were shown together. He was never once shown as his real, tall self with Maguri.

And, she has said she isn’t comfortable with yaoi, but is okay with shonen ai.

Right.

But the point is, it’s been done many times.

In Hana Kimi, one of the protagonist’s elder brother is gay. He was the school’s physician if I am not wrong. So, Hino is not doing anything new.

Kyou Kara Maou is a shoujo manga, but it has Wulfrum and Yuri, two guys as a main couple. Granted, nothing happens, but they are engaged.

The manga was published in Asuka, a shoujo magazine.

Same goes for uraboku, Luka loves Yuki, regardless of the fact whether he is a female or a male. Senshirou and Kuroto were together, Hotsuma and Shusei were married in previous lives and they were very much together in the present as well.

Do I think Ren and Ai will end up together, I dunno. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. But I don’t think she will show them as a couple. If she will, fine. If she doesn’t, then also fine. They have an intense desire to be with each other, and their relationship is not parallel to Kaname and Yuuki’s or Haruka and Juri’s.

One can say they are like Rido, Yuuki’s uncle, not like the above two couples.

There are many differences between them and the two couples.

And, let’s not forget the harem Sara created, in fact she even kissed one of the girls.

Do I care about Ren and Ai ? No.

My sole reason for reading this manga is: Yume. Just bring Yuuki back and show Yume happily ever after. I really don’t care who ends up with whom.

But some reasons regarding Renai are hypocritical. This manga has incest, why are you being bothered by it now? Hell, she drew Ichiru and Zero in suggestive way too, and Zero’s care for Ichiru could also be questioned in that case.

I am not sure if the above is Zero and Ichiru or Zero with another personality of his, I don’t want to see my artbook right now, but it can be seen as Zero and Ichiru.

We don’t like yuri and yaoi.

Well, in that case I really hope it happens so it’ll tick off the people who make this statement. Yes, it’s a derogatory statement.

If the mangaka wants to do it, she can, it’s her choice. Hate her for it, plenty do. Zekis and yumes do for their reasons. I dislike the way she does things too, I hate many things she has done. But, hey she still did them.

Read Yona of the dawn in that case, that’s the only series which isn’t “problematic”

But, Kija and Jaeha can be shipped in that too. I do ship them. And, the author has drawn shonen ai doujinshi’s.

And, Yona was in love with Su-won in the beginning, who is her cousin. Incest is incest, whether it’s between siblings or cousins, they are family.

I really don’t think Hino will show Ren and Ai as a couple. Siblings who are weirdly close, yes. Romantic couple, I don’t think so. If I am wrong, fine.

Just give me my Yume happy ending, and Takuma and Seiren scenes. I literally don’t care about the kids relationship. I just don’t. First, I had to suffer through that traitor’s crap with the stupid bint, Sayori, now this.

Edit : Finally I read this chapter…

I don’t understand how anyone can even compare whatever crap that is going on between Ai and Ren to Yume and Haruka / Juri. The Kuran couples never looked so fucking weird with each other.

I was absolutely right in thinking their feelings for each other are reminiscent of what Rido felt. Just because Ai is Yume’s daughter doesn’t mean she’s a perfect character. Give me a break. Then again she had a crush on Zero as well.

And, she was raised among people like Ruka and Aidou, traitors and obsessed idiots. It’s no wonder she turned out idiotic.

She looks weird when she says, “she had her sister with her” to Youko.

I am not going to post the image cause its just bad.

Yume and Haruka/Juri were never so fucking creepy. Never.

Ren is just so bland and sad in everything that I don’t know what to think. Youko was the only one who wasn’t weird in this Ch.

The author should just wrap this up, it’s neither interesting nor is evoking any feelings in readers. It’s as bad Sayori/Aidou crap. Just stop with the useless story arcs, show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this shit.

I really don’t think the two girls will end up together. Their scenes aren’t sweet, and if she wants to show them, just do it and move on. They are both boring and least interesting. They are so bad it will not matter whether are together or apart.

They are as bad as other creepily obsessed M/F couples in novels and shoujo manga where the obsessed fangirl ends with the boy. This trope itself is gross. Who even cares about them?

They are only being hyped because they are two girls. When people thought Ren was a boy there wasn’t much reaction. I know there wasn’t. But now that they are two girls…

Hate them because they are stupid, no point in saying we don’t like them because its FF relationship. That’s just bigotry. Or maybe the author should be honest and say I wanted Zero and Kaname to fuck but Yuuki kept on getting in the way. So, I decided to pair their daughters together. because according to the author incest is fine in VK. Just drop this crap already Hino.

I mean what the hell is up with this boring arc ?

I don’t even understand why stupid shit like this is overlooked in MF couples but if same happens in same sex, everyone is like, looks its unhealthy. Incest, age difference, obsessed idiots/ fangirls, they are all bad.

I love Clamp, but that Rika and Terada thing was just plain gross. Same goes for Rin and Sesshoumaru.

I kept on telling myself about the latter one, no they are a parent child relationship. But at one point, I had to accept it was anything but family love. I love Sesshoumaru and always will. But I can’t get behind Rin/Sessh or whatever nonsense it was. Sessrin is celebrated, it’s a fact. It’s creepy, don’t deny it.

I know some of their artists and Sesskag [yuck] kept on leaving rude comments on SessKik fanworks, my favourite ship.

And Terada/Rika thing is overlooked because, let’s be honest CCS is fucking awesome. I overlook it and concentrate on yue yukito/ touya, syaoran/sakura.

I just want this RenAi thing to go away. I can’t stand either of them. Just show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this series. Hino should wrap it up and start a new one. VK will not gain the popularity it had at one point no matter what. The author is just coming off as desperate.

Sinners once kept to themselves in a corner however this sequel gave them this validation, which makes them think they are the superior ship in inuyasha. They honestly thought that everyone would be okay with their ship but once they saw that the majority was disgusted they started to feel insecure. And the insecurity grew when they saw that their ship was barely getting anything in the shit sequel. That’s why they feel the need to attack anyone who has an opinion on their ship. They always try to act like a victim and say that they are being attacked unprovoked but I seen shippers stalk antis or the antis tag to see what they are saying. Remember when they made the 10k block list or when they made multiple blogs just to post antis post just to make stupid one liners. It’s all stems from insecurities. They know that their ship is disgusting and the single reason why yashamine tanked. And that’s why they keep fighting anyone who speaks against it. At this point the only way to shut them up if rumiko comes out and states that sesshomaru would have ended up with anyone but rin.

There's no questions about that. They can't even take constructive criticism. Though, I think that once Shiina's officialized doujinshi is over their ship is gonna continue to sink even deeper than the Titanic. Cause they won't get no attention at all. When the hny anime ended, we all saw how Sunrise now under Bandai tried to clean the slate with damage control. Rin is still a kid, and if she has to be around Sesshomaru, Jaken has to be there too or Kohaku. If Sessh does get paired with a female, it's Kikyo (don't get me started with I'm Sesskik shipper. I say it cause that's the one they mostly using) and if it's not Kikyo, they put out merch with his moments with Kagura. It's like the other thing never happened. Expect the Inuyasha not to be touched again by a studio for at least 10+ years. RT is trying to make MAO her "new Inuyasha". And if does get touched again, it better not be that same studio because don't bother. Who wants to go through shiit again?

Seems like I was right, Takahashi didn't really want to kill off Kagura, she even cried..!

Also... I saw an interview from 2020 where she says the mother of the twins didn't change $esshoumaru, so the raisins took it as their ship being canon. First off eew! But she had said two females had changed him, R¡n, who was like a daughter and made him respect humans more, and Kagura, who gave him what he thought he didn't have, the ability to fall in love (demi King?). This interview is, if anything, implying SessKik as R¡n had already changed his view on humanity, and didn't introduce him to love like that for the first time like Kagura. That's how I interpret this at least.

But them celebrating that their "queen" didn't change anything within him... Just a cold-blooded r*pe on someone who didn't matter to him at all even though he saved her life and they travelled together... Just how messed up are they?! So I might be aromantic with no interest in romance, maybe even repulsed towards some. But this... Is outright depraved. If anyone of them are somehow married (because I doubt they'd date anyone not being a $esshoumaru daimakura due to lack of interest in anything else), do they get off by him looking coldly at them and not caring about them??

Honestly, killing off certain characters the way she did felt like a bad idea looking back after all these years. I could be wrong but it was clear she rushed the final arcs cause she stopped vibing with her work and just wanted an easy way out of the love drama Inuyasha had. Example how she just wrote off Koga. If it wasn't for the anime we would never see him again at the end really.

Anywho, my friend, so that 2020 interview was pretty vague to be honest and then in some bubble on the side it mentions "Rin: the girl who changed Sesshomaru" if I recall right, which still wasn't wife or woman tbh but then it got blown out of proportion. Though it could be she didn't want to spoil shit... Everytime Rumiko discusses Rin either she talks about her "as a kid" or plays the game of the "Rin is lava" seemingly trying to avoid the topic. Since the hogosha interview I haven't seen her discuss her again though. At least publicly. Everything else has been either from Sunrise staff's mouths or Shiina. It's become a sensitive topic for her ig.

Also after the fic with budget ended, she moved complete focus to promoting Urusei Yatsura (and the new anime looks like it was done with love and care unlike HnY).

So, when the fic manga finally ends she probably won't give an F about doing anything good about Inuyasha for many years or none at all. As any interview suggesting to her more sequels as been met with her giving passive aggressive answers like: "No, I don't think so. When a work is finished. It is finished no matter WHICH work it is"

Like she were talking specifically about Inuyasha. Guess she regrets her decision. Good.

And well about those sauceribs. I think they have a lot issues and via using Rib as a fleshsuit they just proyect all that shit to the point they're willing to die on that hill. Everytime, their bubble gets bursted by info from her or even Shiina himself—they try to find a way to go into cope. But it's not surprising since they act like a cult. Sometimes I think they don't even care about Sesshomaru. The basis of their whole ship is sex after all.

In case sinners are lurking, do not answer. But there's new Inuyasha merch on amiami, and... It's KohRin and hints of SessKik. Heck, kohrin is the only really showed one, it's kind of hilarious, I like inukag, but not even they or mirsan have anything..!

Oh don't worry I'm practically living on my own now and at this point got nothing to lose.

I actually forgot to post it here but yes, isn't it great? Though inugang did get stuff along them, which I'll show you in a minute. If anything they all look like this Big OP family hahaha. Hells, they did even a KogKag merch on the new stuff. Which made my friend so happy.

What I find really interesting though is that if Jaken is the Dad like they keep saying, why did she call Sessh "Hogosha" instead of the other, and then Jaken has been described as her babysitter? It's even on the website. Shouldn't Jaken be the hogosha then? *Cough* Such mystery~ hmmm.

Then you got Sesshomaru here (especially after the HnY anime ended) getting even more paired with Kikyo, along another literal hogosha. Specifically Kohaku's(before Sessh took him under his wing). It's like they know Sesshomaru is supposed to be her parental guardian and "pairing him up" with Kikyo(who's also one) is supposed to help show that. The cafe promotion where it's pretty much confirmed that Kikyo's depiction in it, it's supposed to present she's like interested in Sessh was like the PEAK of wiping the slate clean to me among other things.

Now you got this and it's just wow. SR doesn't exist at all. Especially, "adult Rin". Like look at this Sesskik family ❤️. Look at the Inukag gang 🔥. Everyone.

It's amazing.

Oh it's not just that. If they're depicting Rin. They seemingly don't want to leave her alone and they either bring Jaken or Kohaku recently. It's like damage control at finest. I love it though. If anything this new koharin with Papamaru merch is worthy of investment.

Though as much as I love Sesskik and InuKag, as much I love this food, finding out about the Sesskik drama CD, the interview where she mentions his type being her, the mentions along evidence of Rumiko having Sesskik at least cross her mind once with help from the Sesskik fandom (both western and asian) AND the idea of completely officialized Sesskik would've been great cause they deserve the world lol. I will say this.

If they want to scrub this stain clean. I dunno bring Kagura content too. Even if she's not even my true cup of tea or ship her with him, but I understand she's not the only favorite. Whether you consider their relationship romantic or just of care. She was important to Sesshomaru as well. Like just a thought, Bandai/Sunrise? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I analyzed what you said. In terms of power and mind, Kikyo and Sesshomaru are practically close to the same. Then if you put their pictures together, they actually complement eachother.

Also let's say if I was a noobie to Inuyasha, and somebody came to me showed me Sesshomaru, then presented me with a picture of Kikyo and R¡n whilst asking "who do you think he settled down with?" and I point at Kikyo only to be told "No, it's this kid". I would not just only be quite confused but also probably feeling like catching some hands cause WTH???

I’ve had a few anons ask if the reason I’m pointing all this out is bc I’m a SessKik shipper trying to push an agenda and the answer is no, I’m not, I don’t have a horse in this race. I simply appreciate it for the aesthetic because like it or not, SessKik 👏 just 👏 makes 👏 sense 👏

It’s very rare you find a pairing that whether you ship it or not, or whether you even like both characters or not, you can look at and be like “I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they ended up together” and I think that’s a big part of why the Yashahime damage control is pushing merch of them so much. It makes sense which makes it easy which makes it work.

So, I’m genuinely curious about how anyone can say SessKik is boring, cause like, uhh, have we watched/read the same series? 🤔

Consider the following please

The strongest demon/strongest priestess combo

Them growing up hating the other’s kind because of prejudice that borders on just blatant racism

Their pride colliding

Them understanding each other because of their similar personalities

Them calling each other on their bullshit, also because of their similar personalities

Their contrasting viewpoints on life

Basically enemies to best friends to lovers

I mean, if you call them boring just based on how they’re both aloof and stoic then you’re missing the point, you’re missing the ✨ flavour ✨ of this ship. The potential. The crème de la crème.

But I guess you could also be reading all of this and still tell me you think this is a boring dynamic, in which case I’ll just look at you funny, bid you farewell and then continue on my day.

Welp! It was "nice" while it lasted...

I was prepared for the worse after the image leak. I vent and took a deep breath.

But you know? I don't regret watching till now and finding all the supposed "hints" they said they were around for the "mother" (hell even the girls were bait themselves absolutely fucking nothing like R*n at all). You wanna know why?

Me, my fellow Sesskik friends (love you guys), as well as the Sesskagus, and others. We ended up proving how low a animation company can go just to get $$$ and views. They baited us alright. They knew from day one we wouldn't watch a single episode unless they hide who the mother was and make it seem it wasn't R*n. Really angry they used Kikyo as bait for the mother knowing her entire arc from start to finish she did not deserve this tbh but what can say? These people are crap.

I've been shipping Sesskik for almost all my life since I saw Inuyasha. I didn't expect true content then and I really wasn't expecting now even if I wished it inside, had some hope or if Inuyasha merch baited the hell out of it with strategic placement (ironically is that I thought Sesskik was a thing when I was a kiddo cause merch and promos put them together a lot, one of the reasons I got into it). I got like 3 to 4+ fanfics that I consider my options as "Sesskik canons" and are WAY better than any damn writing of Sunrise (and these people actually paid attention to the characters and plot), if you guys want I can share them later.

I honestly hope Sunrise bankrupts they have ruined enough animes from what we've seen already.

I’m confused by your post, it sounds like you’re saying that people can’t post sesskik content in the sesskik tag if it’s also relating to anti sessrin, and that sounds super gate-keepy. As a multi-shipper who enjoys sesskik, sesskag, and sesskagu content, and also a vocal anti SR sometimes my content intersects with other tags. I should have just as much right to use all relevant tags as anyone else. Otherwise I have no idea what else you could be talking about, because you make it sound like someone is out here starting beef with sesskik shippers specifically when I’ve not seen anything at all like what you’re complaining about, and I browse all the good Inuyasha tags on the reg.

I dont think that’s what my post sounds like at all, but I can explain it again, sure. Prepare for length, tho.

The point is that Sesskik fandom, as in, the people actively creating content for the ship in the tag and those who are in the discord and just wanna ship and have a good time, dont want to fight with SRinners because frankly, we dont care about them or their sequel.

I know this and I can talk on their behalf because I’m a part of said discord. Most of us never even touched Yashahime even when it aired (I knew from the moment it was announced that Rin would be the mom because it’s a SR fanfic made into anime by the biggest SR shipper Sumisawa) expect for a few member who made Kikyo mom theories, and when they were attacked, by SRinners, for their mom theories that’s when you saw them in the anti tag actively posting against SR.

Now though? After the mom reveal and the fact that Rumiko Takahashi Hogosha’d Yashahime into the land of non-canon bullshittery, no one cares about SR or that sequel. I mean, we make fun of it sometimes, it’s a joke. Other than that, you wont see us posting about it or SR anymore.

You say you didnt see anyone starting beef with us, but a certain anti posted into the tag basically calling for drama with the “official art comparison” and when they were asked super nicely to not tag their drama by a friend of mine, that anti just started cussing them out and if that wasnt enough they later posted a huge ass rant about how much they hate us. If you ask me they were just bummed we made it look like they were alone in their ~epic~ fight against their archnemesis the big bad SR. 😂

Sooo taking all of this into consideration, we’d rather not see people start fights with SRinners in the tag, and it’s even worse if they’re trying to drag us into it like we give a shit, we’re here to ship and we dont feel the need to win some “contest” with anyone else, and esp SRinners.

That’s not saying that Antis cant post into the Sesskik tag, lol. You can post about whatever you want just dont be toxic and try to start shit only cause you’re bored (or crazy, idk) toxicity only calls for more toxicity.
