I'm halfway through the netflix avatar live action, and while not coming in with any expectations, I somehow still ended up being really disappointed.
The show doesn't feed you everything with a spoon, no, it's more like they're chewing it themselves and spitting it in your mouth kind of deal with the way they explain everything and repeat it several times for good measure.
They also made the show seem like it's allergic to letting their characters have any development. Like showing any weakness or a flaw might mean they are terrible and undeserving. Everyone around them can be wrong a bit (as long as they have good intentions), but they will have to change their ways to fit our protagonist world of view because they're obviously perfect.
A show that, despite being a kids show, was filled with so much depth, nuance, and character development, was stripped away from it by a coward studio without any understanding what any of that even meant, or how a story works.
I just can't believe how they managed to screw this up so spectacularly, although it does explain why the original creators left. I'm debating if to even continue this thing, and try giving it any more chances, but I think my time is better spent elsewhere...
so uh good to know that aabria and sam did not actually plan for one of the most tragic and beautiful romances i’ve seen literally ever to be like that it just happened good to know that the quaver in quay’s speech came from sam’s genuine emotion good to know that laerryn wanted three kids so that she could one-up zerxus and cerrit good to know that laerryn had a thought in the back of her mind about getting to visit quay’s home with him good to know that literally all quay wanted was to be with laerryn and by the end not only did he realize that and realize that he didn’t like the person he’d become but also he got to have it he got the love he wanted they got to be together at the end they were together and i’m fine i’m fine i’m normal about this i’m so normal

'Bhola' in Hindi means innocent. We decided to call him that because he looks like an innocent little meow. I mean just look at him here, sleeping innocently.
I go a lot to artist alleys to sell my merch, recently one of my best sales has been Hazbin Hotel merch, but now I just don’t want anything to do with, the problem is… I got nothing to replace it with
